If you are in need of a mall, this is one of the good ones. Decent food court and even better array of restaurants either part of the restaurant or very near by, good department stores and lots of popular shops. It doesn't have the very high end stores that you'll find at Short Hills, but I usually b-line for the Nordstroms. Parking is plentiful and easy, stores are clean and organized, they have an AMC Dine-In movie theater. And I really have never seen it too packed! All in all a good mall and a good place for window shopping, actual shopping and all other shopping days. read more

We went to Menlo Park mall to visit the Disney play zone. It was a bummer as the play area was nothing but few statue like Disney characters. Most of the interactive toys in the play area were broken or missing pieces. Other parts of the mall were nice. They have Apple store, Uniqlo, rare FYE store. There's a rainforest cafe and AMC too. Some parts of second floor has carpet. Mall is relatively clean and well maintained. There were few events going on too. It was a decent mall for us but not up to the mark compared to the ones we have in Bergen county. read more

We were in the neighborhood for the train show so stopped in to walk around a bit and have a bite to eat before heading home. It's a nice mall to walk around. It was a busy Saturday night but the mall was still walkable. People are still genial here. It is clean and has a nice variety of stores that won't break the bank. read more

I use to come here a lot! Its going downhill though. I can see why so many people stick to Amazon and such. The selection here is ok at best. Pricing is a bit higher than what you can find online. Service is good, depending on the stores you go to. I had a problem with one specific retailer though. read more

Mall itself is nice, but the glass elevator in the center of the mall is absolutely terrible. It is PAINFULLY SLOW, completely covered up by ads and jumbotrons (I mean, why install as glass elevator if you are not going to let peopleenjoythe view? It's ridiculous!), only has an UP button on the first floor even though there is a basement (the basement is restricted, but it's still a code violation to only have one button on an intermediate call station). Two other code violations I found were that dmthe doors did not have drop key holes, and the panel has no capacity plate. Unbelievable. The mall also doesn't have any decent toy stores read more

Plenty of stores and quite a busy mall. That's probably the biggest drawback is that it's often annoying to find parking and that you often have to deal with annoying traffic just to exit the mall. Unlike some of the other malls, you have a few better upscale dining options. I'm surprised Rainforest Cafe has survived all these years. Unfortunately, that alleyway has seen better days. Overall, it's a decent place to shop for any particular thing you want. I've been coming here more recently to buy sneakers. There are plenty of interesting places to shop. Uniqlo's also a bigger hit from what I've noticed. I think the food court should have better options, but that might be a Simon issue. read more

This mall is ok, though signage is a bit sparse. The food court is definitely not varied enough and there is not a good variety of stores. There are several expensive restaurants in the mall, but not enough places to grab a meal a bit better than food court fare, but not enough to break the bank. There also isn't sufficient signage outside the mall, to determine where to park for particular stores. And the parking decks has a lot of spaces which require shoppers to navigate steps to get to and from the mall. read more

I've never been to the Menlo Park Mall, so my boyfriend and I decided to try it out. Nice selection of stores (think your typical mall stores), a big food court, Rainforest Cafe, Cheesecake Factory, and an AMC Dine-In Theater! Since we went right after the holidays, many stores were having sales which was great. Parking was a little bit of a hassle, and the exit onto route 1 was congested (expected). Would definitely return if I was in the area, but not a mall to go out of the way for. read more

I am posting a review over here because currently yelp doesn't have RamenYa in their systems for the food court area which is now in this mall. Now I consider myself to enjoy many ramen places and I met with the owner before it was open, they were very nice and understand that I was excited about what I was gonna get when it opened. When it opened yesterday it was quite the experience I had, but I wanna post what I got today which was the spicy tonkatsu ramen with chicken gyozas. It was so delicious and for food that comes from the food court really impress me since not many aside from ruby Thai kitchen was much good. If you are hungry for some ramen, ramenya is the best place to go for. For it is not only delicious, staff is friendly along with the owner, but for what it was forth for all of what I got, it was so worth every penny. read more

I love the wide selection of stores they don't have mostly anywhere else in New Jersey. Some of the stores can be quite expensive, but they also have medium price stores for those who can't afford the more expensive stores. My favorite store is urban outfitters. I love how they give good service to their customers and have good offers on their rewards program. Nordstrom is my second favorite. read more

I worked with her on the phone this morning she's a associate at Nordstrom and she was exceptional.. she took the time to understand my frustration trying to order a designer sweater online on Nordstrom website which was quickly selling out, she took the time and helped me, shes outstanding in custumer service, understanding the customer and not giving me any mediocre answer to get on with the next customer in the store. Maybe it's because I tend to visit on the early side but I've never run into an issue here where the mall was crowded. In fact, given that this place reminds me of all the other malls that are seeing declining sales and also vanishing stores, it didn't strike me as being anywhere close to busy. The plentiful parking in the AM/early afternoons most certainly reflect that. That being said, this mall has your usual garden variety of stores that you've seen everywhere else. It does have an Apple store though which is helpful for people needing genius bar assistance etc. The dining options were ok but nothing really special. However, I did give this place four stars for being relatively non crowded and also being pretty clean in general all around. It would be better though if they had some more store options for customers. Also it was kind of annoying that the Barnes and Noble wasn't connected to the mall itself but beyond that, it was okay. read more

If all Simon Malls were as crowded as this dinosaur they wouldn't be hemorrhaging cash like a bankrupt hemophiliac. Impossibly large and prone to overcrowding, The Menlo Park Mall in Edison is a sprawling Eighties monstrosity with plenty of upscale haunts (Nordstrom), disposable teen clothiers, the obligatory Auntie Anne's, an AMC and family-friendly chain eateries such as Benihanas. In other words... a mall. Unfortunately, I will only agree to come here when I'm on the business end of a pistol since access off US1 is usually a minefield of construction and chokepoints that make me pine for my keyboard and the ease of the online omniverse. It's Spring, I have my jab so the last thing I want to do is spend any of my free time inside of a mall. Jeff Bezos paid me to say that. Three stars for trying. read more

Aside from the bathrooms here, the mall is clean and well-maintained. The bathroom by the food court is the better of the two, but sometimes their is a line in that one on the weekends, the one by rainforest cafe is disgusting. Honestly, just go to the bathroom at Nordstrom lol. There is a good selection of shops and they have a food court and a few restaurants on the property so you won't go hungry! This is about 10 minutes down the Highway from Woodbridge mall, and Woodbridge makes Menlo look like a palace. read more

This mall is great! Has a wide selection of restaurants/food options, and there are tons of great stores! Looking in the windows, you can tell the staff works hard to keep the stores looking neat and clean. It gets a bit crowded during the holidays, though, so I'd recommend carpooling (it's really difficult to find parking and the lots get congested). They have a Rainforest Cafe (my personal favorite) and lots of small vendors. There is a lot for children to do there, and they have a place where you can wait in line to meet Santa during the holiday season! They also have an AMC dine-in theater with a bar on the outside. read more

Gotta love shopping in places where there's no clothing tax, am I right? I've been going to this mall ever since I was born, and I've seen all the changes that have occurred over the past two decades. Menlo Park Mall has recently become part of Simon Malls within the last few years, switching to a more modern look. There's been a serious upgrade. They remodeled the floor tiles and the central elevator area. They removed the larger water fountain, making the area more open. The mall is appealing for a lot of teenagers because of their selection of stores (Forever 21, Hollister, Abercrombie & Fitch, Aeropostale, American Eagle, Aerie, Old Navy, GAP, and H&M). The AMC Dine-In Move Theater is connected to the mall. Plus, there are big department stores (Macy's and Nordstrom). There have plenty of food options in the food court, in addition to separate restaurants nearby (Cheesecake Factory, Rainforest Cafe, Benihana, and Seasons 52). Woodbridge Center Mall is slightly bigger than Menlo Park Mall, but I prefer to go to Menlo Park Mall because of their store selections, cleanliness, and appearance. There is plenty of parking, both indoor in the parking decks and outdoor, around the entire mall. read more

I am the parent of an 18 year old son. I recently discovered my son had been vaping. When I addressed the situation and started asking questions I found it my 18 year was purchasing the vapes at Menlo Mall. The kiosk where these vapes are being sold inside the mall are not asking for ID. They don't care that they are selling to minors. They only care about the profit/sales. The fact that minors have access to purchase vapes without ID is disturbing. My daughter which is 17 told me that there was a video on tik tok going around saying that this place at Menlo does not ID. Management of Menlo mall should have been aware of the illegal sales to minors at this mall. I did bring it to their attention. I can only hope that their will be consequences as this is illegal and happening right in the center of this mall. read more

The covered parking lot of this shopping mall is very old and needs to be renovated. There are some steps in the corridors of the shopping mall, so it is not convenient for children's strollers. But there are adequate stores for shopping. read more

One of my go to malls. Great selection of stores from Macy's to Nordstrom to uniqlo. I rarely ever walk out without buying something. There is a food court along with stand alone restaurants such as cheesecake factory, benihana, and seasons 52. Across the way, there is even a super target. Convenient located off of route 1, traffic can get a bit crazy during rush hour. read more

Despite being considerably smaller than its neighbor in Woodbridge and not having a merry-go-round, Menlo Park Mall has a multi-story parking garage, a rare Banana Republic store, an AMC Dine-In Theater, a large Forever 21, and a dedicated food court area on the second floor for most of its food vendors (exceptions include Jamba Juice, Auntie Anne, and the macaron kiosk). The Ichiumi, Fox & Hound, Barnes & Noble, and Jos A. Bank stores are attached to the main building but are not accessible from within the mall itself. As a part of Simon's efforts to revitalize its mall properties and to improve customer experience, the floors recently got a facelift, notably in the elevator/water fountain area by Zara. Still, as anyone who has been to any mall one time too many, Menlo Park Mall and I have a love-hate relationship that skews more towards the latter. With only a few exceptions, the stores (including the department stores) are too small to carry a wide selection and are often staffed by apathetic high school students or apathetic former-high school students. Expect to see lot of teenage customers during the week and families on weekends. The latest renovations include a brand new Apple store on the first floor. Has three PokéStops, all by the Rainforest Café. read more

Its a mall... Not sure how much I can say about a mall, It has a Rainforest which makes my littles ones OVERLY HAPPY! Will def be back to visit when in the area. The mall is actually Ginormous, Like SUPER Ginormous. There was maybe every store you could think of. Lots of food options, a Movie and several other game/entertainment places as well. read more

Even though this mall is a bit further away, it is so much better than the mall closest to me. There are some solid anchor stores here like Nordstrom and stores that I wish were in every mall like Uniqlo and Apple as well as your standard mall stores like Aeropostale and Forever 21. There are also a number of fun restaurants such as Cheesecake Factory and rainforest cafe. Jamba Juice is a bonus. There is currently a ceramics painting shop called Color Me Mine in the mall. It's a great option for one parent to bring the little ones there and keep them occupied with a painting project while others go and shop. The AMC Dine in theater is convenient if you have time constraints and need to combine a movie and dinner to save time. read more
