I really enjoy this Marshalls because you can almost always find good deals, and they're constantly getting new stuff in. Every time I stop by, there's something different, so it's fun to just walk through and see what you find. I've picked up home décor, gifts, and random seasonal finds here that ended up being great purchases. My only complaint is the shoe section. They never seem to have enough small sizes, and I often see cute shoes but can't find them in my size. I'd love to see more options for smaller feet. Overall though, it's a great store if you enjoy bargain hunting and finding things you didn't even know you needed. The staff and customer service are good. read more

Use to loves Marshall's and always had good prices but now I just feel they upped there prices so much for not that good quality of stuff so don't go here much often anymore! Plus lines are always so long and slow. Parking is kinda hetic cuz so many stores around right there and busy ones. Workers are nice though. read more

This Marshalls is located in the same plaza as Target and Safeway (right between these two stores actually) with plenty of parking. My favorite things about Marshalls, TJ Maxx and Home Goods are that they are 1) dog friendly 2) have a great selection of yummy snacks in their food section and 3) always have some really great deals/ discounts I have visited this Marshalls a few times before when visited Lodi. On my most recent visit (last night), I came in looking for a mesh bag for laundry. I wasn't too sure if Marshalls would carry it but Target didn't have any and figured I would just check out this store. The employee I first saw in the beauty section told me she wasn't sure if they carried it, but if they did, it would most likely be in the home department. Luckily my husband was spotted a mesh bag, but it was a bonus item if you purchase dryer balls. I decided to purchase it (since I had just told my husband earlier in the day that we are almost out of dryer sheets and he thought maybe we could try using dryer balls to see if we like them). But for those of you that may be looking for a mesh bag for laundry, I didn't see any (other than as the bonus item with the dryer balls set). After this, I ended up browsing the clearance section (which is also in the home section, in the very far corner of the store) and found some really great deals. Same with some great items in the clearance section in the beauty department (I was telling my husband its dangerous for me to be in this store because I ended up purchasing several things when I was coming in for just maybe one item, lol). The employee at the register was so friendly and quite cheery. She was definitely all in smiles especially when she saw my dog (that seems to be the effect my little girl dog has on others). This was a great shopping experience (just as the previous ones have been) and will definitely be back here again. read more

The Lodi store is absolutely filthy. The floor, and baseboards are disgusting. They look like they have never been cleaned. From the front door to the back was filthy. I took random pics but the dirt was throughout the entire store. read more

I I purchased items at Marshall's location and it was pretty much some food goods and upon me purchasing it I was told that as long as the product was not completely empty or whatever the case may be like if I tried them out, they didn't work out for me that they were returnable. I go to Marshalls to return it to be told that I cannot return the product which is definitely different than what I was told when I originally purchased it so the fact that I have to go to a whole Nother store to return. I recently had an appalling experience at Marshall's that left me frustrated and deeply disappointed. The incident involved an immature employee whose unprofessional behavior tarnished my shopping experience and left me feeling targeted and disrespected. From the moment I stepped into the store, it was evident that this particular employee had singled me out for some unknown reason. Despite my attempts to ignore her behavior and proceed with my shopping, she persisted in making snide remarks and giving me disdainful looks. Her behavior reached its peak when she deliberately mishandled my transaction at the fitting room, causing unnecessary delays and inconvenience. It was clear that she was not only incompetent but also had a blatant disregard for customer service. To provide more context, I was holding three items, two of which were see-through organza, and I had just tried on additional items less than 5 minutes prior. In a snarky tone and manner, she patted the rack bar and insisted that I hang up the items for her to count. What struck me as particularly frustrating, was that she had not made such a request when counting the items I had just tried on moments before. When I placed the two items I was trying on onto the rack and held onto the third, of which I had just tried on, she gave me a dirty look and tapped on the rack bar, reiterating that it was "policy," while she and another employee sitting nearby continued chatting. This inconsistent behavior left the impression that she didn't know how to count. Despite my repeated inquiries, she continuously deferred to her actions as "policy," pushing each of the three items aside one at a time and patting them down. What infuriated me the most was her nonchalant response after I informed her I wasn't going to try the items on. She shrugged, and as I walked away, she and the other employee erupted in laughter. When I confronted her about the issue, she lacked accountability and refused to acknowledge her wrongdoing, suggesting that a manager could handle the situation. Instead of apologizing for her behavior, she continued to display a dismissive attitude, treating my concerns as unworthy of attention to correct her behavior. This experience has left me questioning Marshall's commitment to providing a positive shopping environment for its customers. It's unacceptable for any employee to behave in such a disrespectful and insulting manner, and I urge the management team to take swift action to address this issue rather than attributing it solely to disruptive customers. Additionally, when recounting this incident to my family at home, I was reminded of another unpleasant encounter with an employee at this location, where she invaded my personal space to stock skincare items and behaved rudely as if I were in the way of her doing her job. Rather than ask me to move she became aggressive, pushing bottles over and reaching in front of my face, giving me dirty looks. I had to ask if I were in her way to get her to stop. It was the same employee during both encounters. It's essential to acknowledge that employees can also contribute to creating a disruptive environment, potentially resulting in customer dissatisfaction and financial losses for the company. Not a strategic practice considering the state of the economy. My encounters with this irresponsible and childish employee at Marshall's were disheartening. I will think twice before returning to this establishment, as no customer should have to endure such disrespectful treatment. read more

This store is awesome! I had been to store after store looking for something to wear to to my work Christmas party. All the stores were picked over and had little to choose from. A friend told me about this Marshalls and told me that had a great selection of everything. I went with high hopes and I was super happy with what I found. I was looking for the perfect pair of long black boots. I knew what I was looking for and to my surprise, I was able to find exactly what I was looking for. I had been to several stores with no luck. I was so happy with what I found. Not only did I find the perfect outfit for my Christmas party, I was able to finish the rest of my shopping for everyone else that very day. The shelves were fully stocked and they had a great selection. Not only that but the employees were great as well, very friendly and helpful. I will be sure to make this my go to store from now on. I love this place!!! I go in looking for 1 or 2 items and come out with way too much!!! Shoes are my favorite, but soooo tempting as I wander through the store. EXCELLENT customer service and very good at exchanging things since I don't like trying things on first.. Worst customer service I've ever experienced.. When trying on a dress the lady was so rude she looked me straight in the face and rolled her eyes and gave me the dirtiest look. When I was checking out I walked up to the cashier, she wouldn't even look at me didnt ask me any anything, didn't say hi, literally nothing. All she said to me was "pick your receipt". And then nothing. Not a have a good night, thank you for your purchase nothing. But when the next people in line walked up she said "Hi how is your night going" in the sweetest voice possible. A clean, well organized Marshalls is a rarity so needless to say, I am happy that this store is in Lodi! This store seems to have a fairly high turnover of merchandise and they get new things almost daily. If you see something you like, you may want to get it while you can. I frequent this store often, meandering through the aisles, waiting to find that one thing that I can't live without! Sometimes I find it, sometimes I don't. They carry lots of designer brands at very affordable prices. Shoes, purses, cookware, decor. Have I mentioned that bath towels? This store has the best bath towels ever! OMG! I finally found a clean Marshall's! Hallelujah. I love the good deals that Marshalls has but I can never stand the mess so I rarely shop there. On Saturday, my friend was looking for a new purse but didn't want to spend a whole lot of money so we tried Marshalls. This was my first time going to this store and I always assumed that it was like the Stockton store and never bothered to go inside. I used to enjoy and love going here to shop. That was before I had a family. When our baby was born, we went here to shop around. However, when we needed a place to change our baby's diaper, there was no changing table to be found in their restrooms. Definitely not a family friendly place especially for children still in diapers. I thought all stores and restaurants are to have a place for parents to change their children's diapers. Guess not.. I called the Lodi Marshall's Store because I was searching endlessly for a storage locker. When I called the store on 3 occasions, I had the pleasure to speak with Cesar, Marissa, and Charlotte. They were all EXTREMELY helpful and courteous. All three staff glady checked the store for the locker, and when I arrived to the store, they made sure that there was no hassle for me to purchase the locker and be on my way. I traveled from Stockton to the Lodi store, and because the staff are so friendly and efficient, I will definitely be back to patronize the store. The shoe department as well as the home goods is larger and more easily accessible than my store in Stockton. Ever since the Stockton Marshall's flipped their kids and home goods department, I've shyed away from the store. Occasionally I'm in Lodi for work so if I'm in the market for either shoes or home goods, this is the store I prefer. Besides, it's practically next door to Targer, what's not to like? read more

How can you not love this place? I purchased a perfect San Francisco Giants jersey for like $12.00 because it was a light weight material for summer. People thought I was a Giants fan but that is not the case at all... I only bought it because of the quality and the black, white and orange colors looked cool. I like this store alot because they have a large variety of products. The employees do a great job at keeping it clean and organized. My only complaint is how long the line always is. They usually will have one cash register going...maybe two. I usually have to stand in line for 10-15 minutes. I love Marshalls. It's my go-to designer clothes for less. Since i'm still a teen, I browse through the little aisles with Hollister, Abercrombie, and Aerie. I like some of the styles they keep in stock but the con about shopping at Marshalls is they cross the brand name out with permanent marker on some of the designer clothes. It irks me alot. The checkout process is quite quick. They make small talk and scan your items and your done. Nothing more nothing less. Ok, I love Marshall's stores in general and in a way i put myself in this situation. I should have prepared better and not waited till the last minute. Anyway I needed a shirt and tie for Friday, my bad to look on Friday. If you shop at any Marshall's you know the merchandise is hit or miss sometimes, I'm cool with that. Of course I was in a hurry, but found the tie no problem, settled on a CK dress shirt m(half retail).. AND then it was time to check out. 1 cashier. 1 cashier. 5 minutes shopping, 20 minutes in line. There were many other employees, but God Bless her she was the only one permited to operate a register I guess. I shop here all the time. They have a pretty regular turnover and get new merchandise almost daily. It's always organized and never messy (like other similar stores).
