It wasn't really late in the evening . It was before 7PM but this place is nothing like the one in Elk Grove. We are always busy and this one was slow and very quite. Not that many customers at all. It was nice to slowly walk around with no rush or noise . The one thing at not being that busy of a store. The produce seemed older and not as fresh. When you buy in bulk and stuff doesn't sell quick you can't order that much so you can tell the produce is less fresh. We did of course get different things at this location. Not much different. I think we get more at the store on Stockton Blvd. than this place. no biggy. We still have to try since we were here.

It's a win-win, and one of the main reasons we keep coming back. Like every Costco, this location is consistently busy, but I've found that going within the last hour before closing is usually the best time to avoid the biggest crowds. The location also has plenty of parking, which is a plus. The biggest downside to this Costco is the customer service. Some of the employees could definitely benefit from additional training, as friendliness can be hit or miss. In particular, I've had experiences with cashiers who came across as curt or outright rude, which isn't the most pleasant way to end a shopping trip. Even the receipt checkers often seem more focused on chatting with each other than moving the line along efficiently. Overall, we'll continue to shop here because Costco itself is hard to beat for value and selection but the service at this location leaves room for improvement.

Even with my breathing and heart problems I respected them enough to wear one. I used a very polite tone because I wasn't trying to start an argument. I believe this attitude will hurt their business and I wont be the only one to walk out in fear of their disregard for any safety protocol. I did not feel safe at all and did not see any attempt to limit customers in the store or signs of social distancing protocol. If you are unhealthy or high risk, these things are very important to you. Many elderly people have money to spend at boutique and not catering to them (by running around without a mask) is surely going to hurt a business that is likely already struggling from months of closure. Even Kohls staff are wearing masks to keep customers safe, but the level of service at Stella Mitchell couldn't even reach that of a large department store. I'd hoped to treat myself with an overpriced dress to help support a struggling local shop. I'd expect far better treatment and care for the customers than I received.

There were only two cashiers open and one self-checkout, with what looked like 50+ people waiting in line. It was overwhelming and unrealistic for families or anyone on a schedule. After standing there and seeing no movement, I made the decision to walk out and leave our cart. I've never done that before, but the wait just wasn't manageable. I'm not sure how checkout staffing is planned here, but for how busy the store was, I expected much better. Target is usually reliable, which made this experience especially disappointing. I hope this location improves staffing during peak times, because long checkout lines can undo an otherwise good shopping experience very quickly.

I forgot to check the "I'll use my own bags" box when I made my payment on the app, so when I picked up, the girl said it was too late and that I had to be charged for it. Whatevs. The Target locations I usually frequent have had no problem removing the bag fee for me. Other than that, I was satisfied with my purchase and will have to remember to check that box off next time!

Overall though, it's a great store if you enjoy bargain hunting and finding things you didn't even know you needed. The staff and customer service are good.

I like the large variety of places to shop and eat (both sit down restaurants AND fast food) and although this shopping center is all the way across town from where I live, it's still convenient for me because I can hit so many places at once.
