Came here for the first time last week and I was pleasantly surprised. They had some really cute gifts for father's day. I was able to get my hubby a nice watch, new shoes and a few cute little miscellaneous items for under $100. They also had a large selection of men's big and tall but not much in the way of women's plus sizes so if I was shopping for myself I would probably not come here. They had some cute households stuff though and for gifts, I would highly recommend a look. Staff was nice, but I think they may have a lot of theft because they had more security devices and loss prevention staff than cashiers. I wish I had taken more photos, but think Ross or Marshalls with clean floors and organized items. If I needed an affordable gift in a pinch, I would stop in again. read more

I stopped into this location with my friends so one of them could look for some gifts. When we walked in we were greeted by a friendly security person and we started browsing. They had a good variety of items and the store is clean and well lit. I did notice looking through the clothes though that so many were in the wrong area and it was harder than normal to search for items since a lot weren't in the correct size section. We may have come at a bad time, but that definitely made the overall experience just ok. They do have some hidden gems here though and I ended up getting a couple dog toys while I was here. Also, I'll say that they have a lot to look at. Even as we were walking through the checkout area we were pausing to look at more items. Overall the staff we interacted with were great and the space is clean. The parking lot also has plenty of spots and it's easy to find. You'll just want to budget extra time to go through all the clothes and not just your size area if you're looking for something as they tend to get pretty unorganized. read more

I have a bad experience shopping at Burlington, Lodi California. I was shopping and spent $401.31 and because of the load i was carrying i asked for help at the lady cashier to help me carry the other stuffs into my car at parking lot. The cashier told me, that they will help me. I was waiting to for the help to get to my car but then the cashier lady told me that the manager says they can't help me out. There were 2 male employee and 2 female employees that are there looking at me. I asked the other male employees to help me to my car with the furniture and the big living room rug that I bought but the cashier said the manager says not to help. I asked to talk to the manager and I told him if you can't help me to carry my purchases to my car, then I will return all my purchases back to your store. And the manager says yes and went to the cash registry to initiate the refund. This is a big example of a bad customer service. This store doesn't help or treat their customers well to have a wonderful shopping experience and be able to come back and shop again. This is also an example of a bad business because the employees, including the manager are all lazy to help the customers. Where is the good customer service here?? This store just recently opened. It replaced JCPenney so it is rather large inside. There is a greeter upon entering along with a hand sanitizer station. Plenty of carts and baskets in the front too. Today, masks were optional. I found the store to be very bright and everything to be organized quite well. I wish I visited on a Thursday since I was told they restock Wednesday nights. The racks and shelves were somewhat barren. Lots of purses, women and men's clothing and accessories. There is also lots of baby clothing and nursery neccessities in the back. Plenty of home decor (pictures, faux plants, tabletop decor, bedding sheets/ pillows). They also have makeup, skin care items and nail salon type products. The cashier in the front was friendly as well as the greeter by the front entrance. I will be back because the prices are great! read more

This place is a good place to shop at for Christmas gifts! Also a good place to find Disney merchandise! I saw a post from a Disney fan saying they found a lot of plushies from Disneyland here for a much lower price and I couldn't believe it. I had to see it for myself. Finally went and yes! I found shoulder porgs that I bought at Disneyland. I paid $19.99 for one at the park! Here one was $4.99! Be careful tho, sadly the magnet part that goes along with it to stay up was ripped off. I still bought it, cause I LOVE Porgs and I can't leave any behind! I also saw Toy Story toys, lots of Nerf Guns, Squishmallows, fidgets and just a bunch of other toys. This area, the toy area, can get messy and unorganized. There were a lot of clothes too. From men's, to women's, kids and the little ones. Racks and racks. Shirts, tops, sweaters, sweatshirts, pants. There's a lot of stocking stuffer items too. Lots of charging cords, phone accessories, bath products. Slippers. Kitchen items, purses, even snacks too. The checkout line is always long. I haven't been on a day where I didn't wait at least 10 mins to checkout. However I don't mind the wait since I am saving money. The workers are a hit and miss. There are some that are nice and some that shouldn't be working there. Those ones clearly make it shown too. When they are pushing the rack thingys to stock the racks or shelves, they're very rude. You have to get out of THEIR way or get run over. They don't say excuse me. Clearly hating their job! You can easily spend hours here. Literally the worst shopping experience. We were followed around the entire store by multiple employees, by the time we got to check out they followed to check out , when we were leaving there was literally employees standing outside the door. Mind you this didn't happen with any other customers, i paid attention. They literally blocked the exit with carts and employees AFTER WE HAD PAID ! It was honestly ridiculous and disrespectful. I put my stuff in the car and went back for corporate's phone number to file a complaint , not one person at the door , all carts back where they belong. One of the employees tried to say they weren't following us , they were just doing their jobs and then that it was another person that walked but at the same time .. REALLY ? What a coincidence. This felt so discriminatory , offensive & outright disrespectful. I understand there are people that steal but come-on , not everyone is a thief . Definitely wont be going back there. read more

I've only been to Burlington 3 times and the first time being there I witness a guy walk out of the emergency door with a full cart. Security asked me questions about the guy and I felt uncomfortable because I was already shook from what had just happened and I felt there were other guys in there still with the guy who took the full cart. Fast forward a few months later I go back with my mom and sister to do some Christmas shopping (wasn't planning to get anything but then I figured why not I've only used my Burlington credit card once) so I started getting stuff and so did my mom. We went shopping it's what you do..well there was an Asian worker following us around. I'm very good with watching my surroundings and at first I didn't care. It's his job to be up and down but when I realized he was watching us I felt extremely uncomfortable because now I was feeling they were thinking we were going to take off with our full cart. When we were done with our shopping I told my mom I wanted to go see the dog stuff - near the comforters and stuff which we later went in that aisle and he went IN the aisle with us and wasn't moving a thing that's when I knew HE WAS In fact thinking we were up to something. Not going to lie I wanted to leave ALL my stuff because I didn't want to give Burlington my money. But I didn't want them thinking I was planning to steal. They also went and BLOCKED the emergency door that 1. Made me laugh because they really thought we weren't going to pay for our stuff but 2 I just wanted to leave at that point. I told my mom for us to just leave already and I said it loud enough to where he heard it and ran to the front door. And there was 3 people there 2 male 1 female and 2 guys in the register watching my mom and I pay. One guy even went to my mom and told her she can't return cologne. Who even asked?
