I learned…read morethat if you return items, you can only return up to $100 worth in a year, which is beyond ridiculous because everything in there is pricey. When my husband and I had our first son, we received a lot of diapers as gifts. As many know babies grow quickly, and parents often have preferences for certain diaper brands due to past experiences or health reasons comfort or certain brands leak more than others. I have all these Target diapers, but I can't exchange them for the brand I like best or even get a Target merchandise card, because I've already hit my $100 limit for returns. It's frustrating that they wouldn't even exchange the damn diapers I could see if I was asking for cash, but an even exchange for unopened diapers should never be a problem. People buy diapers all the time for kids, and if all these diapers are too small you're telling me that's my problem that I'm stuck with, which is ridiculous. Shame on you Target, and yes I asked to speak with a manager, or lead and I was told that the leads are all busy and the manger was out. This experience has made me rethink where I shop for baby supplies in the future.

As far as pricing goes, it is bordering on "pricy" but you're getting a pretty good value on their products. I've had nothing but good experiences with Hot Topic fashion and accessories, and the quality is really great. Many of the items come in multi-packs so especially with their deals you're getting a few different colors/styles. Good quality stuff that lasts a long time. A lot of my alternative wardrobe and costume pieces are from HT and they all still look really new and fresh. Plus, they have inclusive sizing! This is a great place for any plus-size folks looking for good quality alt fashion that flatter all body types. This location also has exceptional customer service. The associate Tonen was incredibly kind, funny, and helpful in my quest to find oddly specific merch. His sense of humor and cheerful demeanor made my day. I could tell by the vibe of this store that the employees who work here are pleasant, fun, and hardworking people. The shop, like all Chicos was beautifully designed, and had all the inventory gorgeously displayed. The styles range from classic timeless, resort wear, casual, flashy bedazzled sequins, to night on the town. Chicos is revamping their clothing lines and marketing to target a more diverse age bracket of fashionistas. I could tell with the current summer inventory. The shop is smaller than most other Chicos I have shopped at. But they have a section of Soma lingerie. The lingerie is beautiful, feminine, and quality made. That brand is part of the same company that owns Chicos. Not all Chicos sell Soma in their shop. So that is a bit of a bonus for shopping in the Stockton Chicos.

Had the other sales personnel not been so nice and deserved this sale, I would have walked out and purchased nothing. So glad to not have encountered this manager on my other trips. I returned a week later with my sister another girlfriend, who I introduced to Chico's. This manager was off and it was the usual welcoming and friendly shopping environment. My physician sister inquired about the treatment I'd received and we were given all the information for this manger and full apologizes. I had never even heard the name of this store brand before but I knew I had to find one. This was the closest one to me so I drove the 40 minutes to check it out. I was not disappointed. This is the cutest little store I have patronized in a long time! As soon as I got there I was welcomed in by the staff, who were consistently great throughout my entire visit. After wandering for a while checking out lots of things I wasn't expecting to find, the staff number that appeared to be the supervisor asked me if I was looking for anything specific and when I told her she immediately directed me to the area. She showed me pretty much all the items they had. I must have been there for 20 minutes at least just looking through everything and then adjacent to that. Found some separate items that I was also super interested in. After a few more minutes, the other staff member brought out some items from the back to show me that were related to the ones that I was looking at. My excitement must have been louder than I thought because I didn't even realize anyone was paying attention to me. I did appreciate the thoughtfulness and service. Ultimately, I left a very happy shopper. There were so many unique items. For the niche and the quality, the prices were also totally reasonable. They even had an entire wall in the back of clearance. The store was clean and well organized and I liked that they had inclusive sizes on the mannequins. My entire experience here was good from start to finish. On my way to the store I had read that Boxlunch is similar to a Hot topic or Spencer's Gifts (both of which are also in this mall by the way) and I guess in a way it is, but those stores have been around forever and I really felt like this store was far superior. For me, it's that a lot of the items aren't just quirky or make good gifts, but that they take actual items that you would use or want everyday and incorporate them into the styles and themes that you want, often in a clever way. I opted for the store pick up option. I like how there is a fitting room here. So, you can try before you buy! Some locations actually don't have a fitting room apparently. :/ I was supposed to get a tracking number or notification when the item ships, but I only received a confirmation for the order and a notification that my order is ready for pick up, which I found a little odd. I also tried to check the status of my order from their online website, but it says "status: NULL", which I'm not sure why it said that. And at the bottom it said "backorder". The staff here are helpful and very friendly, so that's a plus. There's usually some type of special deal(s) going on like buy one get one 30% off. I definitely will be on the lookout for more cute things! Tip: If you see something weird, just call the store or the customer service number to double check that your order is actually ready for pick up.
