It is a small store but everything was super neat and well organized . The store was clean and bright and they managed to get a lot into such a small space . They had some gorgeous outfits on the mannequins and I did look around for a few minutes before heading up to the register to grab my order. While the cashier went into the back to locate it, I started browsing the clearance shelves . When she brought out my order she told me that because I picked up items today I could get an extra 10% off the already 50% off clearance items. That was an awesome bonus. As much as I love the store and the service, I loved the clothes even more. I bought a dress, blouse and a new bra online during their Labor Day sale and when I got them home everything fit like a glove. The quality of the clothing is fantastic. Unfortunately I can only afford to shop here when they are having a major sale and even the few items I was interested the in on the clearance racks were still out of my budget. If you're a plus size girly and money is no object, you should head over immediately. You must love the fit , quality and service. I, however, will have to stick to just shopping here a few times a year during the big sales, but I definitely look forward to it.

I am back! I was in Stockton recently and dropped on into the Chicos women's clothing boutique…read more The shop is located in the Lincoln Center right next to the Trader Joe's. The shop, like all Chicos was beautifully designed, and had all the inventory gorgeously displayed. The styles range from classic timeless, resort wear, casual, flashy bedazzled sequins, to night on the town. Chicos is revamping their clothing lines and marketing to target a more diverse age bracket of fashionistas. I could tell with the current summer inventory. The shop is smaller than most other Chicos I have shopped at. But they have a section of Soma lingerie. The lingerie is beautiful, feminine, and quality made. That brand is part of the same company that owns Chicos. Not all Chicos sell Soma in their shop. So that is a bit of a bonus for shopping in the Stockton Chicos.

However, this visit I was met by a cold and disconcerting African American employee. As a shopper who spends $300-$400 per visit my patronage is generally a welcomed retail event. Being more interested in my retail experience, I completed my shopping and upon checking out I engaged this employee and asked if she was new at this store. Her shocking response was "...I an the manager and I have been here over 10 years!" Then she just walked away! Wow! No further conversation to recognize that she was continuing to be rude after never acknowledging my store presence or the large purchase I was making. Had the other sales personnel not been so nice and deserved this sale, I would have walked out and purchased nothing. So glad to not have encountered this manager on my other trips. I returned a week later with my sister another girlfriend, who I introduced to Chico's. This manager was off and it was the usual welcoming and friendly shopping environment. My physician sister inquired about the treatment I'd received and we were given all the information for this manger and full apologizes. However, no defense provided for her which means she must treat them the same! Another rating will follow for the 5 Star followup visit when this manager was not present.

Every time I stop by, there's something different, so it's fun to just walk through and see what you find. I've picked up home décor, gifts, and random seasonal finds here that ended up being great purchases. My only complaint is the shoe section. They never seem to have enough small sizes, and I often see cute shoes but can't find them in my size. I'd love to see more options for smaller feet. Overall though, it's a great store if you enjoy bargain hunting and finding things you didn't even know you needed. The staff and customer service are good.

If you're in the Stockton area, this location is definitely worth a visit. This Hot Topic location…read moreis a chill, relaxed store with excellent service, and a pretty expansive selection in terms of clothing, jewelry, and accessories. If you or someone you know is entering the world of alternative/goth/emo/pastel fashion, or even loves y2k fashion, by all means give Hot Topic a visit. There are also some good quality novelty shirts here that would make a great gift. Hot Topic used to be reserved for the darker aesthetics of fashion - these days they have really expanded their horizons to include some of the fresher, up-n-coming aesthetics out there at the moment. As far as pricing goes, it is bordering on "pricy" but you're getting a pretty good value on their products. I've had nothing but good experiences with Hot Topic fashion and accessories, and the quality is really great. Many of the items come in multi-packs so especially with their deals you're getting a few different colors/styles. Good quality stuff that lasts a long time. A lot of my alternative wardrobe and costume pieces are from HT and they all still look really new and fresh. Plus, they have inclusive sizing! This is a great place for any plus-size folks looking for good quality alt fashion that flatter all body types. This location also has exceptional customer service. The associate Tonen was incredibly kind, funny, and helpful in my quest to find oddly specific merch. His sense of humor and cheerful demeanor made my day. I could tell by the vibe of this store that the employees who work here are pleasant, fun, and hardworking people. I have found that enthusiasm is a rarity with many mall-specific stores these days, so it was very refreshing to receive such friendly service. Altogether, if you're in Stockton mall-ratting about - do give this store a visit. It's worth the experience alone.

I was standing in the online pick-up line, waiting my turn, when some random woman strolls up and gets helped before me. When I politely pointed out this obvious screw-up, Jenypher decided to gaslight me with the weakest excuse ever, claiming the other woman was there first. Spoiler alert: she wasn't. No apology, no effort to fix her mistake--just arrogance and incompetence rolled into one. If this store insists on hiring employees like Gaslight-Jenypher, they might as well rebrand as 'Carters: Where Customer Service Comes to Die.' Avoid this place unless you enjoy being insulted by clowns who think lying is a personality trait.

I had never even heard the name of this store brand before but I knew I had to find one. This was the closest one to me so I drove the 40 minutes to check it out. I was not disappointed. This is the cutest little store I have patronized in a long time! As soon as I got there I was welcomed in by the staff, who were consistently great throughout my entire visit. After wandering for a while checking out lots of things I wasn't expecting to find, the staff number that appeared to be the supervisor asked me if I was looking for anything specific and when I told her she immediately directed me to the area. She showed me pretty much all the items they had. I must have been there for 20 minutes at least just looking through everything and then adjacent to that. Found some separate items that I was also super interested in. After a few more minutes, the other staff member brought out some items from the back to show me that were related to the ones that I was looking at. My excitement must have been louder than I thought because I didn't even realize anyone was paying attention to me. I did appreciate the thoughtfulness and service. Ultimately, I left a very happy shopper. There were so many unique items. For the niche and the quality, the prices were also totally reasonable. They even had an entire wall in the back of clearance. The store was clean and well organized and I liked that they had inclusive sizes on the mannequins. My entire experience here was good from start to finish. On my way to the store I had read that Boxlunch is similar to a Hot topic or Spencer's Gifts (both of which are also in this mall by the way) and I guess in a way it is, but those stores have been around forever and I really felt like this store was far superior. For me, it's that a lot of the items aren't just quirky or make good gifts, but that they take actual items that you would use or want everyday and incorporate them into the styles and themes that you want, often in a clever way. If, like me, you have never been to one of these stores before, I highly recommend you head to the nearest one and check it out.

I do wish that the items were more affordable and that they have my size. I guess things just sell out too quickly. The good news is that the sales associates can help you look at other store locations and look online to see if your size is available. There's an additional shipping fee to ship to your home address, but there's no additional shipping fee if you have it shipped to a Box Lunch store of your choice. I opted for the store pick up option. I like how there is a fitting room here. So, you can try before you buy! Some locations actually don't have a fitting room apparently. :/ I was supposed to get a tracking number or notification when the item ships, but I only received a confirmation for the order and a notification that my order is ready for pick up, which I found a little odd. I also tried to check the status of my order from their online website, but it says "status: NULL", which I'm not sure why it said that. And at the bottom it said "backorder". The staff here are helpful and very friendly, so that's a plus. There's usually some type of special deal(s) going on like buy one get one 30% off. I definitely will be on the lookout for more cute things! Tip: If you see something weird, just call the store or the customer service number to double check that your order is actually ready for pick up. You wouldn't want to go all the way over there, just to find out it never arrived yet.
