THEN, I saw a pair of black leather boots, Franco Sarto, for which I had long ago given up the search. They were there, and they were in my size,and they had only the one pair. I grabbed them, tried them on, and was thrilled to find a good fit. I would have happily paid full price ($125) had I ever found them during my original search (I had seen them at a high-end store, but not in my size). These were priced at $89. I walked out happy. My daughter, a lover of snacks, found several bags of goodies that she liked, so she did, too.
