You can get great deals on dried/canned foods. I've gotten deals on makeup and toiletries in general, and then you have occasions like on my last visit where the store was practically empty, and I mean like aisles that were just bare. I'm hoping that it's due to the labor day rush and they haven't had a chance to stock up yet, but on the whole, I always look forward to Ocean State and will be back.

So beyond the useless $250 item. I cant even reach a customer service person to discuss any sort of solutions, store credit, even swap for a new board, not even an apology. He accused me of stealing the items as I walked in and was not only rude but very unkind. Due to the weight of my return, the long walk to the register and my breathing condition I was not breathing well when I first encountered him. Although he could see I wasn't breathing well he continued to ask me questions insisting I answer him instantly. He treated me as if I was a child doing something wrong. I am a 48 year old woman . The policy is 7 days for perishables and 30 days for other items. It has been 4 hours. After I was banned from doing returns he followed me out of the store harassing me the entire way. He is a terrible manager and a unkind, unintelligent, cold, rude person. Everytime I shop there when he's working he's always just standing up front doing nothing. I won't be shopping there again. $17 return vs over $500 a month in sales. Not bright!!!
