The pieces here are different from another shop I frequent, and I love that. I'm into the mixed look, not matchy-matchy. Just my thing. I've found gorgeous pieces here that I love to use daily and showcase at special occasions. The ladies in the shop (one is the owner but the other was equally knowledgeable about the pottery) were two of the genuinely nicest people I've ever met. So engaging and happy. Loving to share info and knowledge and time. Just lovely, lovely people. There's not only a good selection in the main shop, there's also a "gently loved pottery" shop through the lot. Lots of good things in there, too, and all in great condition! What a nice way to offer a budget-friendly start to one's collection, or to expand on one currently started. Since the Covid 19 pandemic, I haven't been able to be back in-store, but took advantage of an online sale. Whenever I go in here, there is an angry woman behind the desk that never acknowledges me the entire time I'm there. When there is a younger girl working, she always says hello and asks to open a dressing room for me (no complaints about her). 99% of the things I've seen in this store are super old lady... can a plus size 30 something get some cute clothes around here??? The shoes are hideous and everything else that is from the last century is pretty high priced. I did find a pair of purple forever 21+ skinny jeans here a few months ago, but I want to say I paid $12-$15 for them and if they were on sale in the store, I could have bought them new. From time to time, I still check back to see if anything has changed in here (because it is a great concept), but so far, not my favorite place.

This place takes your items, has you sign them over, and then sends a receipt telling the consigner what the item will be listed for and potential payout. My instinct was to take my items back as that made no sense to me, and I take responsibility for not taking my things and leaving. To find out that, as per their website, the new unworn and unused items worth hundreds retail would garner an average of $9.00 per piece was stunning. I would much prefer to donate to someone who could really use the item rather than get less than $10.00 for a dress that retails for $150 and was never worn. Lesson learned. I'm selling online from now on.
