I've gone to many marshalls to buy small home goods for seasonal decor however my experience today felt super welcoming due to one particular employee. As I was walking to the restroom, I noticed an employee walking out of the break room with a huge smile on her face greeting every customer. I thought, wow that's a first! To my luck, after my boyfriend and I got in line to purchase kitchen gloves and a pair of men's sandals, the same person rung us up. Same smile, perfect greeting.... it made me want to go shop some more and purchase more with her! She was so friendly during our transaction which is rare for any marshalls I've ever shopped at. As I walked out, I told my bf, wow that was the best service I've received in a long time and he agreed. We made sure to look at her name tag and Sacheem was amazing! I like this Marshall's because it is clean and organized. It's not your typical discount department store with clothes all over the floor and random price tags that don't match what you're trying to buy. I've only shopped at this store in the evening so I don't know how how busy it gets during the weekdays or on the weekends, but I never had to wait in line for too long to pay for my items. Their selection for bed linens is mediocre and the section is small. But their shoe selection is amazing and you can usually find your size for a style that you're looking for. They always have a section for their sale items as well. I bought a shirt there for $3.99. If you are looking for a good semi-formal dress as well, they have some pretty classy ones for $29.99 and under. read more

This Marshall's is better than any other Marshalls.. I mean its not as big as the great mall's marshalls but this place is super nice. Good quality stuff and super organized -- not messy like other Marshalls. The service people are really friendly too. Great place for christmas gifts and all kinds of goods from clothes, travel accesories, fitness items, to toys and kitchenware. Trust me, it's better than any other Ross or Marshalls... Tis the season to look for bargains. I usually hit up Marshall's for my holiday shopping because I can find items for everyone on my list all in one place. However, I'm hesitating to come back to this place. I was here a few days ago and was looking around for a gift for my cousin. There are these really cute and useful body warmers called Hot Hugs that I had seen at another Marshall's by my work and I wanted to buy one. I asked a sales associate if she knew where they were and as I tried to describe to her what it was that I was looking for, she kept sighing and told me that she didn't know. She still tried to help me find something else but I could tell that she was bothered by my simple question. When I went to check out, I had another odd encounter. I was checking out and I usually like to spare the planet and use my own bags so I told the lady that I had a bag to put my items in. However, I ended up having to bag my own items after she rang me up and she just stood there watching me. I felt really uncomfortable and I felt the urge to yelp about this because I felt like the customer service I received was mediocre. Maybe I'm being over dramatic but I know what good customer service is and I know that some of the employees at this location can improve their people skills. read more

Maybe I've shopped too much at TJ Max & More but this place cannot compare! Their shoes are a step about what you would find at the flea market. Their clothes are cheap and not only the price. The most redeeming area would be the housewares/decoration department. It's been a long time since I left a store empty handed and I left marshalls that way. Shopping at Marshalls is always an adventure. This location has so much variety and style. I really like the layout of the store and the environment. With that in mind I am giving it four stars because of the checkout line. There are no sales associates on the floor because they are all on registers. Even then there is never enough cashiers and the wait is too long. I recommend coming during a weekday. Happy shoppings! read more

If I could give this store a negative rating, I would!!!!My boyfriend and I are resellers from the Bay all the way to Sacramento which means we've been to almost every single Marshalls you can think of. Almost every manager in each store knows the both of us especially at this particular branch since we're here at least once or twice a week. We've had plenty of bad experiences with a lot of managers/coordinators but this one topped it all off. I work for customer service myself and I can't even think of how and why and what they saw in this douchebag named "Mike" to become a manager.. Manager meaning you have the qualities of being a leader. But this dude lacked everything including respect. During Christmas Eve, my boyfriend came in to return ONE ITEM which is a Nike jacket that is originally worth $200 but it went down to $150. (Now, all the employees know since we come in so often that we spend about $300-$500 everytime we come in) & Usually when we do a return, We do a lot of returns.. big amounts) It was supposed to be a gift for me so I tried it on the morning of Eve but it was too big so I said go ahead and return it. He couldn't find the receipt for it but the original tag was still attached. By policy, if the tag is attached and they have the same item at their store/system even if there is no receipt.. the return is and will be accepted. So, as soon as he came in.. he went straight to the register. Since there is no receipt they scanned it to check of they have it in their system. The short lady with short hair who wears glasses then said they don't have it in their system. My boyfriend then said ok and went around the store to shop. BUT as he was looking around.. he found the same exact jacket, same price. So he went straight to the register to return it. Now, the employee called the manager named Mike because obviously there's sometime wrong going on already. My boyfriend was calm and nice at first.. now they haven't seen that he found the jacket BUT Mike refused to help him saying they don't have it in their system. This is when my boyfriend got upset. He then questioned and showed Mike the jacket as to why theyre saying they don't have it when clearly they physically do! Mike did nothing, said nothing, and just walked away. What kind of customer service is that?! Don't be a leader if you can't be one! Don't be in a customer service position of you can't have respect! He should be fired! read more

I love Marshalls.....I am a labor WHORE and I have great luck finding high end labels here for a steal. When you go to any Marshalls store you have to be prepared to dig around but the layout at this Marshalls is nice. Parking at Pruneridge sucks. I am surprised this Marshalls did not have a large selection of home items, shoes and clearance (I am spoiled by the location on Coleman- San Jose I guess). Also, the bathroom was absolutely disgusting and there is no baby changing table inside (I guess a good thing to prevent baby exposure to the nasty germs of the unkept single stall bathroom). On top of the small selection of items and nasty bathroom, the check out lady was not the nicest. I asked if I could throw away my empty coffee cup away as I was paying for items and she asked if there was still liquid inside. I took a sip and said no, it is empty. She said, " I am sorry. We do not want drinks to leak in our garbage. Throw it away in the front garbage." My hands were full, with a baby and all, and I did not think it was a big deal. Apparently, asking to throw away an empty coffee cup is. Parking was not too bad for me probably because I got there before 11am. read more

I adore this Marshalls. It is the best one that I have been to so far. Sure, there is a lot of cheap polyester junk, and keen scavanging talents are a must, but I can often find something really great, and at a reasonable price. The clothes near the front of the store are generally better than those in the back, they often have cool dishes, their selection of sheets is excellent, they have a lot of nifty purses, and in winter I can always find a scarf I love. It is basically a marginally more upscale version of a Ross, so don't expect any swankyness. Bargain shoppers, I give you your Marshalls mecca! Don't get discouraged if you don't find something your first time out. Some days are definitely better than others. read more

Worst customer service given by assistant managers Jaime and Regina. I shop at this Marshalls weekly, but will now go out of my way to go to another store after my experience. I bought a pair of shoes after trying them on in the store. Wore them out once. After an hour, the open toe seam dug into my feet -- slicing into them. Brought them in with my receipt and tags. Regina took one look at them without even asking why I was returning them and said: we can't resell them so we're not taking them back. She didn't care to hear my story at all and walked away with a look of disgust before she looked at Jaime to back him up. Jaime, with attitude as well said: you should've walked around your home with them on before wearing them out. And then said: it's not our fault the shoes cut your feet. I was shocked. I know Marshall's return policy isn't Nordstrom's...but I believe returning these shoes because of the pain they caused was reasonable! Not only did they refuse, but I also got a lot of attitude with it! When I told Jaime I couldn't believe the customer service I was getting. He then closed the conversation with: you have a bad attitude. Really?! Come on! Marshalls needs to retrain their managers. Or these two managers need to be more understanding to customers who have spent money in their store, and maybe I would've walked away without the need to write this review and reach out to their district manager. read more

I really like this Marshalls in particular. It is right next to Salon Rache where I get my hair done (by Monique who is F-A-B) and so I always stop in before or after getting beautified. I have gotten some great shoes and bags here and I always find something to try on or buy. Prices are decent---they have gone up in the years, but there are still some great deals to be had. read more

If I could give it 0 stars I would. The worst experience I ever had here with the staff. I've gone in three times already and each time the same staff member has helped me and it was terrible. Her name was Sabrina and each time she was rude and had an attitude. She was on her phone while helping me and seemed more into that than doing her job. Went to this Marshalls for the first time yesterday. I thought that since it was in Campbell it would have been a nice one. I was wrong. The floors needed sweep, and mop desperately, the mirrors should be cleaned at least once in awhile, and the racks of clothes should be straightened up periodically. It obviously suffers from poor management. I realize that you can't control the clientele, and how messy they appeared to be, but you can control how you would like your store to look. Try cleaning up the store, and make a pleasant shopping experience for everybody. read more

I shop there periodically. Sometimes I find something & sometimes not. Normally I would just go on my way. Today I had something to return. After standing in line for what seemed forever. Twelve people in line and one cashier! And even after myself & others asked for additional help, they couldn't care less that the line was just growing longer & longer! Parking kind of sucks but this store is huge. It doesn't look too large from the outside but as you walk in the ceiling is raised in the middle so it looks larger. Everything is surrounding the clothes and they have pretty nice shoes, unfortunately I wasn't there for shoes. I did not find what I was looking for so I still have to go back to the Ross in Westgate (the only Ross that seems to carry my slim pink hangers...) Maybe I'll be back but most likely not. read more

I must say that this is one of the better Marshall's around. It's clean and organized, the cashiers are friendly, fitting rooms are clean, and they carry high end items in stock. I can usually find something here whether it's clothes or home decor. I agree with K.C. that the parking sucks though. It can be hard to find close by and the spaces are small. read more

One of my go to stores for anything really! Great location, quality items and it's organized. Parking is craaay! They don't have a lot for home goods, I find more stuff at TJMaxx. Always love this location for Marshall's. It's in the Pruneyard Shopping Center with Trader Joe's and plenty of choices for restaurants. The theater is also in the center, so you could really make a day of shopping, eating and watching a movie! This location has a great selection of shoes. The dressing rooms were recently remodeled. The facility is kept relatively neat and clean. The customer service has always been great for me. read more

I've been shopping at Marshall's almost my entire life. I love all the deals and will continue to shop there. I don't expect exceptional customer service since the prices are so good. However, this location has gotten smaller and has no kids department anymore. Also, today I went to return a pair of Joe's Jeans that were marked down to $39 (reg $50). I had purchased them at the Great Mall, which I rarely make the trek up to. They accused me of wearing the jeans and would not take them back. The style was more vintage and worn looking but the tags were on. I never took them out of the bag I purchased them in and it was only 10 days ago!?!?!? They said they wouldn't be able to put the item back on the floor because they were worn and pointed to wrinkles on the jeans. The jeans were a soft light jean material and had been sitting in the same bag I purchased them in, hence the wrinkles. They said to take them back to the Great Mall to return. I told them I never wore them and she said it's a Great Mall issue for putting them on the floor to sell so take it back there. I really didn't want to cause a big scene and not in the mood to argue. Luckily I had time, I headed straight to the Great Mall and returned them with NO ISSUES! I think maybe since the jeans were $39 they were more scrutinizing. I remember now I had returned a pair of Nike's ($50) at this location and they thoroughly looked at the item as well even when it was clearly never worn, in original box, with the tags attached. Think twice when buying higher priced items here and make sure they are in pristine condition when you purchase them. I honestly don't return items often since I hate dealing with returning but this is seriously poor customer service! I also remember one of the workers at this location last Xmas yelling at my kids and telling me to keep an eye on them. I was standing right there and I had just looked away for a sec to look at an item but they were in no way getting into things. I will make the drive to Coleman or SSJ Marshall's instead now which are larger and have more selections with a kids department anyways. read more

When I did find something, I wasn't allowed to buy it because it said it was a two-piece item and it only had one piece. I was willing to pay the full price for the one piece but the manager said NO because the other piece may be somewhere in the store. Yeah, good luck finding it. I love Marshalls. It has everything i need and the staff are always nice and friendly! Its definately worth the time to go here and they have a huge selection of shoes (some of which are designer label shoes such as Ed Hardy.) The clothes here are really cute and affordable. They also have a good selection of glass cups you can get! I always come here for my clothes and shoe shopping!
