It's our anniversary we decided to go to Marrakech. The scenery is really nice. We were seated as soon as we got there We both ordered the 3 meat with lamb shawarma and chicken. It was really good. Clarification point first. I love lamb but not New Zealand! New Zealand lamb has a "gamey " taste in comparison to Australian or US lamb. This restaurant uses New Zealand. Other than that food was good and service was good. read more

Had the chicken Shawarma sandwich and gyro sandwich. Not bad, not great but not bad. They were out of garlic sauce, which was disappointing.

Dine-in for the second visit. I got the appetizer platter with hummus, grape leaves, goat cheese, falafel, and pita bread. Everything was perfect. For my main meal, I ordered the chicken shawarma platter with red cabbage and rice. I took one look at the plate and the waiter goes, "shatta or tzatziki?" He knew! The appetizer sampler platter with hummus, baba ganoush, stuffed grape leaves, and cucumber salad were the best!! Wow. First time here. Had the hummus for app and it was good. Selected the beef Kalaya with yellow rice. Did not select the jalapenos because didnt know how spicy it would be on its own. Never tried this before but it is awesome. Beef is tender, spice blend was perfect. Eat it with some pita bread. I wished I lived in this area so I could go here often. Service was pretty good from start to finish and all the food came out pretty quickly. Some of the portions are small, but I think the pricing gives that away well enough that it wasn't a surprise. It's been almost two years that I've lived here and I'm mad that I didn't have an opportunity to try this place and discover this gem. As soon as you walk in, you're immersed into another world. I absolutely adore the decor, especially in the booths were each one seemed sectioned off but drapes. I was greeted warmly by the hostess and my waiter was very friendly and fun. He's the quintessential southern young boy. I decided on the meat lovers plate for 40$. It stated they're full portions of each of the meats on the menu. Sounds good enough for my hubs and 9 year old daughters. Our meal began with a mint julep-refreshing, sweet, maybe a hair too sweet. Salads came first. You get two salad choices with your meat lovers plate. We tried tahini and cucumber. Neither one was appealing to us. I just don't think it's our thing. When our meat lovers plate came out, I was a bit surprised to see how small it was. Hubs naturally assumed that was all for him. The picture in the menu was a bit deceiving. However, just about everything on the plate was very tasty! I'm still glad we ordered this so we could nibble on all their items and pick our favorite for the following visits. I'll definitely order their salmon and chicken next time. Not sure how they lightly charred their meats yet it was still tender and moist inside. Sooooooo tasty! They really hit the mark on flavor! The highlight of the meal was the baklava! Still daydreaming about the flaky layers and nuts. They were not skimpy here :). The waitress suggested eating it with your fingers even though they serve it with a fork. She was kind enough to bring a cup of water to wash out fingers. So we haven't been to this restaurant in about 6 years . The food remains as good today as it did when it first opened. This was a must have during our holiday weekend travel! The appetizer of hummus with fresh pita was lick the plate yummy! The Friday special of filet mignon stew was flavorful from beginning to end. The lamb chops, done medium was a WOW for me. Service was a bit slow (although she was nice and professional) but the quality of the food made up for it. Prices aren't bad for the quality of food you get. Loved this place! Went for a moms night out with our babies and they had great customer service. We stayed for about 2 to 3 hours just catching up and our waitress made sure we had our drinks filled at all times. All the other staff we came in contact with were very friendly as well.
