there was two people in the whole restaurant, a young boy either 13- 14 years old at the register and I guess it was his father was in the back of the restaurant. The falafel was so hard. I could've used it for a football and his gloves were dirty and he's wiping the back of his face with his arms while he's serving the order. When I got home, I took.took one bite when I got home of hummus itwas sour. It was terrible. I spent 34 dollats i'd never go back. I'd rather go to Raleigh. And the presentation of the whole terrible platter. It's like he just threw it in there. I do not recommend this restaurant. There's a restaurant in Raleigh, which should take me an hour to get there. It's called Tsinkii. There's one in Holly Springs. Not too far about an hour ago I do not recommend this restaurant. Came here right before 11. I was their first customer today. Ordered the gyro sandwich and fries. It was fresh and tasty. I asked for salt for my fries and the man replied we don't have any our food is already salted. Never had a restaurant not have salt and pepper. Some of us like a bit more salt. The gyro meat was pretty good but could of been a bit more marinated. The place was clean and pricers were very good for the large portion. They had their young son take my order and rang me up which was great! Love seeing kids learning their family business. Found this place through Yelp, while working in the area. Had their kufta kabab plate the kebab was tasty! Rice was good, too. Hummus was just okay, as it needed a bit more flavor. The plate was served with hummus and rice but no salad. We also ordered their lamb kabob plate and it came the same way. Would prefer if they had a light salad with this plate. Pita was average and didn't taste homemade. I also ordered their baklava and it was soggy, tasted stale and not good at all. I was very disappointed. read more

Both got plates. Phenomenal portion sizes. Rice & meat spiced well and not overly oily. Recommend the tabbouleh and hummus as sides.

The restaurant has its own parking space in front of the mall. It is not in the mall. It is near the jeweler. The restaurant is small, clean and quiet. The employees are friendly. The food is amazing! Very authentic. the portions are generous, and the prices are unbelievable For what you get! I recommend the Bettini sampler for a little bit of everything. My husband's chicken wrap was also very good. I feel like more people need to know about this place. GOLDSBORO, You have a dynamite Mediterranean restaurant right by the mall where you can eat healthier, and for less money than nearby franchises. Check out Bateeni you won't be sorry! Missing the extra pita points both times plus the beef kebabs were so overdone tonight that they couldn't be eaten. I love Mediterranean, but this is not to the quality I expected at these prices. Traveling through the area I was looking for local restaurants and I stumbled upon a Bateeni. Such an amazing spot. I will be back! Food was very fresh, I ordered the beef Shawarma plate with Turkish salad and grape leaves. I also picked up a Gyro sandwich. I have no idea why there's not a line out the door, but I will be back. Food is absolutely amazing! I got the Chicken Gyro with fries and the flavors were amazing! Not sure what the fries were seasoned with but they were absolutely amazing and I wanted more! Phenomenal food. Fabulous chicken kabob/rice platter that comes with 2 sides. The fries are great and the Jerusalem salad is wonderful. Mint lemonade is divine. I went on a lunch date with my wife a few weeks ago. The staff were super friendly and explained all questions we had about their menu and shared good insight and advice on things to order. The food was amazing!! Everything we tried was soooo good with great flavors. We are making this a monthly stop at a minimum. I would recommend this place to anyone in the area. read more

I have eaten here multiple times, and have tried many items. Pros: Order is made very quickly. Orders were correct. Friendly staff. Portions are large. Taste was ok. Cons: A lot of my items tasted premade, and just reheated in the restaurant. Some of the items that tasted premade: falafel (exactly like the perfect machine made ones you get at Costco in look and texture), pita, fries, hummus, tzatziki, and possibly more). I don't know if this is actually a fact, just my own experience from tasting similar foods I have purchased prepackaged, and traveling. Even with items that are premade, is still a decent and consistent place to eat in the area for quick food. read more

The portions were huge and worth the price. The restaurant was cleaned and the workers were friendly and inviting. Omgoodness! This is such a hidden gem. The food is always fresh and kosher. It's never crowded and the service is on point.
