Found this place looking up hummus while spending one night traveling through in Greenville. Staff are friendly. Place seems clean. Plenty of seating, even seats outside. Prices seem pretty typical for this food. Everything seems to be made fresh. I got the tabbouleh and hummus. Also got a mint lemonade. The tabbouleh is yummy, hummus is pretty plain. Not what the pictures show, there were no toppings on it at all. Comes with pita that seems freshly made. The mint lemonade is delicious, never had a flavor like this before. If I lived anywhere near here, I'd probably come back to try other food. But for what I got, price was kinda high. My favorite healthy food restaurant in Greenville! I go 1x a week. Everything is fresh scratch made and delicious! Love the hummus and fresh pita bread. I recommend picking some up from their to go case for later in the week. They even have entire family packs ready to go! We had the falafel pita with tzatziki and let me say this was some of the best falafel I have eaten. Great texture and flavor, not greasy. We paired it with the Greek fries which have an oregano, olive oil and lemon seasoning which are to die for. The warm grape leaves reminded me of the way my grandma used to make them and it was nostalgic, especially around the holidays. We finished our meal with the pistachio baklava, which was the icing on the cake. The baklava had a soft flaky crunch and perfect amount of sweetness to pistachio ratio. If you're new to town or have lived here for a while definitely go check them out. The service is impeccable. Everyone is friendly, kind and generous. The food came out very fast. The hummus seemed a little watery compared to other hummus that I've had in the past. Ambiance isn't a draw inside of this establishment so you'd only be coming here for the food and I'm not recommending that based on their Pitt County Government Food Rating and my gyro & hummus that I ate. read more

If you have never eaten "mediterranean food"in your life, this place is definitely not the one to start.. Number 1: Why would you marinate chicken with cinnamon? Who does that???? The owner is actually from Syria, so all of his dishes are Mediterranean recipes. Before our meal, he brought out a complimentary order of falafel... This was the best I ever had, and it definitely tastes home made. For my meal, I had the lamb shawarma and baba ganoush as my side. Both were very hearty portions and very fresh. The chicken was not spiced. The tabouleh had no parsley and the hummus had no taste. There were flies all around the restaurant and on my table. The restaurant was dirty. The owner was so sweet and made recommendations on what we should order, as well as giving us a sample of the falafel to try (and it was incredible!). I had the bifteki kabob with salad and rice, and my boyfriend had chicken shawarma. Our portions were HUGE (definitely two lunches or dinner and lunch) and everything was delicious.
