I AM OBSESSED with my eyebrows! It was very easy setting up the appointment. Ann Marie made me feel so comfortable from the moment I stepped in her studio. Before we started,she explained to me expectations and what I should and should not do after. Ann Marie was very patient the whole time. During the mapping part,she took her time in making sure that I get the brows that would enhance my facial features more and that I get my desired shape. Wow, Jess is amazing at what she does! I had my first microblading session with her last week and the whole experience was so great! Jess answered all of my questions/concerns and was very thorough when drawing/shaping my eyebrows to make sure they were to my liking and that they were symmetrical. Once the shape was perfect, she applied a topical anesthetic and about 30 minutes later she started tattooing. I felt a little scratching/scraping feeling at first, but after a couple minutes I couldn't feel a thing. No tattooing pain or discomfort! It was pretty amazing. I love Jess! I found her just by google search, but my esthetician also recommended her after I found her myself, so I knew it was meant to be. After waiting 2 months to get in to see her (yes, she's that popular!), the big day was here. I've honestly never been so excited. Jess spent a lot of time drawing my eyebrows in to make sure they were perfect and I was pleased with the results. She even re-did the drawing to ensure they were perfect, measuring and taking pictures for measurement to make sure they were symmetrical and even along the way. Quite the perfectionist which is what you can only have when dealing with semi-permanent tattoo on your face I really had pretty much non existent eyebrows as you can see from the pic. I was so tired of drawing them in everyday, and have done so for almost 15 years. I can't tell you how wonderful it was to wake up and not have to worry about them. Here are some things I love about Ann Marie's artistry: - Strokes: Ann Marie's strokes are so natural I can't even tell the difference between my real hair and the blades. She managed to even out my difficult, uneven brows that I can never seem to fix with brow products. - Color match: Her color match is spot on. I told her I wanted a soft, chocolate-taupe look (I'm picky about my brow color!) and she delivered EXACTLY what I wanted! - Painless experience (and healing): During my session, which took roughly 2-3 hours, it didn't hurt at all. She put on numbing cream and it felt like someone drawing on my face. During the healing, I didn't experience any crazy flakey scabs. The brows just faded to their normal color. It only stung on the first two days (which is normal) when I washed my brows, but that's about it. - Color retention: As an oily skin gal, I was scared that microblading wasn't going to be for me. for 5+ years i was getting my lashes done (various places) but stopped about 2 years ago. for whatever reason, they would not hold for no more than a week! i was devastated -- dramatic, i know, but you get me if you get lashes done. i couldn't figure out what it was and just blamed it on my extensive skin care routine because that's the only thing i really changed... so, i gave up on them for a good year. after jess did my lash line enhancement (which i absolutely love!) and seeing that she was doing more lash extensions, i decided to give it another shot because honestly life is just not the same without them. i liked that her style is more natural/wispy versus heavy/volume, which i'm just not a fan of and my lashes aren't strong enough for that anyway. the first set didn't hold very well but at my second appointment she changed the curl and diameter. my lashes now last a lot longer and i'm sooooo happy to have jess in my life :) my lashes look so good a client who gets lash lifts asked me if mine were freshly permed!!! lol. read more

I have been contemplating doing something about my thinning brows for a long time. I was so tired of filling them in. My daughter is a makeup artist and suggested Jess because she has seen her work and was very impressed. I was hesitant at first, but I really needed to do something. I had microblading about 15 years ago and I remember it being a little painful. My daughter assured me that the procedure had improved since then.
