Need better customer service when speaking with tenants. When something mends fixing it's takes a while before it get done.

The only rude one I met there was property manager Tami but thank God didn't have to deal with her too much.

It sounds like your HOA did try to address the issues with your neighbor through the enforcement process that they have available through their governing documents. We can discuss if you have attended a meeting with your board to discuss your post hearing concerns about the door slamming 30-60 times per day. This situation would be investigated and addressed through the HOA once they meet with you and discuss what is occurring. I look forward to speaking with you." No, the HOA did not address the issue. We submitted weekly complaints to Lordon with daily logs of the abusive behavior we have been experiencing for MONTHS. Nothing was ever done, and Lordon only replied to our weekly emails once-- simply to ask if we had filed police reports. We have been at our wits' end for over 4 months while Lordon has failed to take action or even respond. And as tenants, not owners, we are not invited to board meetings. We have spent all of our free time desperately trying to get Lordon to investigate and address this situation since AUGUST. We are now moving out, and breaking our lease to do so, because of your continued negligence and total failure as a management company to address this situation or even respond. Please spare us the content of your post and the public pretense of caring when you absolutely do not. There is a French expression to describe what you can go do to yourself, and enjoy your bankruptcy.

Vantage Property Management - One of our rental property remodeled by Chris

I am posting this to clarify my experience regarding our rental and my interactions with Chris…read moreHelmich after my previous review was removed. Chris stated that he offered us assistance and a resolution to our financial hardship. That is simply not accurate. The only communication we received was a reminder that rent was due, along with notice of a $56 late fee if payment was not made on time, followed by the statement that after six days we would receive an infraction notice. At no point were we offered an extension, a payment arrangement, or any form of accommodation. Additionally, the unit owner never reached out to us directly to discuss any alternatives or support. During our tenancy, there were serious maintenance concerns that were not addressed in a timely or satisfactory manner. When our apartment experienced flooding and the air conditioning unit was deteriorating, Chris was nowhere to be found. The A/C installation was so poor that you could literally see daylight around the casing. The flooring, which is supposed to be white, appeared black due to the condition, and the state of the oven was unacceptable. We documented everything with photos and videos. My mother, who worked in property management for over 10 years, personally inspected the unit and identified multiple issues that should not exist in a properly maintained rental. There should never be mold present in a water filter--period. We were also told there was a separate heating unit, yet we were left without a functioning heat source while the apartment was extremely cold. This is not just an inconvenience--it is a violation of California housing standards. Under California Code of Regulations, Title 25, Section 34, rental units must be provided with heating facilities capable of maintaining a minimum temperature of 70°F in all habitable rooms, and those systems must be permanently installed and maintained in safe working condition. Portable heaters do not satisfy this legal requirement. We were further told that the overall condition of the property was "not their responsibility," yet our lease binds us to their management, and we were refused contact information for the unit owner when we asked to address these concerns directly. At this point, we are requesting that all communication be handled in writing via email so there is clear documentation. Phone calls are not acceptable. This ensures there is an accurate record of what is said and prevents any misrepresentation of conversations. I will be sharing documentation so others can understand what our experience actually was. This is not about "image" or "quality control," but about accountability and ensuring tenants are provided with safe, habitable living conditions as required by law.

There are…read morelots of pros; extremely clean, the building is well taken care of (they even pressure wash the outside of the building regularly) and no bugs!! The property manager Crystal is seriously the best of the best! She responds to EVERY maintenance request or any other concern immediately. The people in the Cameron Properties office are very nice as well. Once when late with a rent payment bc my job screwed up our pay, they were very kind to me when explaining my situation and did not make me feel bad after telling them I will have to pay my rent late. In my opinion there is only one con but it is kind of a big deal. The walls are SUPER THIN. This is technically no one's fault but it was an issue for me, which ultimately influenced my decision to leave (since I started working from home). In apt 14, I shared a bedroom wall with apt. 15. I was able to hear every word all of my neighbors have said throughout the years. It was bearable with some neighbors but others not so much. The current neighbors have a child who was not the happiest lol and it literally sounded like the child was in my bedroom when she was crying. It got to the point where I had to sleep with the AC on in fan mode just so I could have background noise. I understand that in apartments you hear some noise but this was a little extreme. Also, my whole apartment shook when my neighbor walked, which to this day I don't understand how that's possible bc she was next door not upstairs lol but it was so bad I had to take the mirrors off of my walls bc they continuously fell off when she walked and I didn't want one to eventually crack my tv. The apartment is on the 2nd floor with an empty apartment underneath that maintenance uses for their work room, which means they are in the room from about 8-4 pounding, hammering. drilling and sometimes singing lol This became an issue after I started working from home. I work in mental health and one of my clients complained to my supervisor bc she thought I had someone in the room with me while talking about her treatment. She was hearing the maintenance men downstairs. That's how thin the walls are. If you are gone between the hours of 8-4 this will not bother you but if you ever take a sick day and think you are going to spend a quiet day in bed... you're not haha I have now lived with my boyfriend for over a month in his condo and have not heard a trail of anyone's voice or no footsteps so I understand now when he said he had trouble sleeping at my place lol But overall the property is still a good place to live!! It just depends on who your neighbors are :)

The camera/property situation left me confused because it felt like decisions were made without full clarification, and that was hard for us -- especially with special-needs kids involved. I'm not posting this to argue or attack anyone. I just believe families with special-needs children deserve patience, fairness, and clear communication, and I hope situations like this are handled with extra understanding moving forward.
