This is the worst property management I have ever dealt with. Since the beginning the owner Daryl leaked our personal information including me and my husband social security numbers to a random email, and we found out because the person who received our information notified us. So be careful when you file an application with them your information can be sold. We were renting a property in Rancho Cucamonga (Ellena West) from them for 7 years. Never late in payments, always taking care of the property, always available for their 6 months inspection. They were always taking weeks to fix any issues with the house during the 7 years, we had water problems, water heater problems, garage issues etc...and it always took at least 2 or 3 weeks. Some of the complaints we had were never addressed. When we move out they took half of our deposit for stupid things that were honestly wear and tear. I have pictures and videos of the days we left the house and how it was perfect. They ever charge us for cleaning but when they gave me the house it was dirty I also have the pictures to prove it. Never a late payment, when we turned the house in, it was in great/clean condition but they still took $500 from our security deposit for "professional cleaning" and they charge a fee to explain the lease agreement. We signed with HMR in 2018 desperately searching for a place to live. We were the first to attend the showing and jumped right at the top to apply. They honored our place and we got approved right away. We were pleased with the city as well as the house. Regular scheduled pest control and gardener. They do inspection every 6 months but it was a quick check of the house to make sure everything looked fine. They were always friendly when they showed and always informed us weeks before. Sadly, the house went for sale. Daryl showed up to inform us of how the sale will be and the time we had left to live there. We were saddened that our time with HMR was over. This has been the worst experience I've ever had with a property management. Completely negligent, unprofessional and they do not care about their tenants. Many issues we had have been due to their lack of knowledge of the unit. There was never an inspection of the house, we found all these issues as we were living in the and they would brush them off or blame their inaction on the landlord. They don't respond the any questions or request in a timely matter, we have to keep reminding them of our issues. Oh, and they like to insert a hidden "Tech fee" to pay for the website where tenants requests maintenance. They are refusing to send the plumber out for the third time because they have not dealt with the problem which is roots and leaves in the pipes. I am constantly having to contact the homeowner to report the incidents that have occurred over the years with their unprofessionalism and rudeness. I have repeatedly paid out of my own pocket for services that I know they are responsible for but because I would rather not have to deal with them I just paid myself. One year later... still very thankful I found Daryl & team to manage the rental property. I recently decided to upgrade the property, and had Daryl to manage it via his construction company. I don't have to worry a thing about organizing the dates, buying the materials, choosing the colors, calling the crew blah blah blah.. I could just pay them online (via their high-tech portal) and have the property upgraded in a week. Having worked with some construction companies before, you'd probably know that it's not always the case that they can keep their words on when they'll finish. But Daryl's company has competitive quote, and they actually finish on time. They send some copies of the charges, too, like from Home Depot for example, in case you worry that you get duped. (I never had to ask for that and they still send me the paperwork.). Daryl also takes care of the little things that I wouldn't have otherwise known. Like for this one time where I found that the property I owned was due for Fire Alarm Inspection. Of course, I only found out about a month late (because, who regularly checks their snail mails every day right?) So I was freaking out that I would get fined, and get into trouble. But, when I called the Fire Dept, it turned out that Daryl already took care of it. Since I don't live in that area and I don't know the local laws/customs, it's definitely helpful to have Daryl and the team to take care of it all. And, the team is very helpful, too. I've worked with most of them, and I appreciate mostly that they are HIGH-TECH, lol. They know how to upload pictures to google drive (because if the attachment is too large, your email server might block the attachment), they can use iMessage, etc. read more

Daryl and his team have been managing our property for over 5 years now. My husband and I moved our family unexpectedly for work and never anticipated being landlords. As we no longer live in the area, we needed someone who could help us navigate the process and handle all the ins and outs of property management. Daryl and his team found us great tenants quickly. They do a fantastic job at managing everything from tenant selection, lease agreements, rent collection, maintenance requests, etc. with efficiency and professionalism. Their online platform is great for submitting and approving maintenance requests and they are always quick to address tenant concerns and schedule repairs. They have handled everything for us from pest control and window repairs to water heater replacement. Recently we had a burst water pipe in the main living area at our property. Daryl had someone out immediately to turn the water off and dry out the water damage. He worked directly with our tenants, our insurance and multiple licensed contractors to handle water mitigation, asbestos testing and abatement and the restoration of our downstairs living room, bathroom and staircase. No small feat for sure! Insurance claims like this can be a headache, but Daryl and his team took a lot of the anxiety and frustration out of the process.
