I asked 3 times if she…read morecould do acrylic on my big toe to make it square since the side of it broke so it could match the other foot and she didn't do it. These aren't even square and she kept cutting the side of my toe nails and filing them back when they were too short and hurt. I've been coming. Here for a long time this is probably the worst shaping I've ever gotten here. I could have done my own shaping better than that at home. Just ridiculous *** it was around 5-7 weeks since my last pedicure so my toes were not "really short" besides the big toe that broke. I added another picture to show that she was filing into my toe nails after cutting them super short as short as she could get them and made half of them round and tiny. She also cut the sides of the nails which you aren't supposed to do due to infection and hang nails. I asked her not to do this. there was no reason for her to cut the sides of my nails on one foot and not the other leaving with me with uneven toes. I appreciate the response but I feel that there should be an attempt to fix the situation instead of making excuses or insinuating that I'm making this up.

I was in town and needed my nails done at the last minute, so I picked this salon because it had…read morealmost 5 stars and a ton of positive reviews. After my appointment, I went back and read the negative reviews, and honestly, those matched my experience much more closely. The first red flag was that I walked in to ask about pricing, then left to think about it, and one of the employees actually came out into the parking lot to convince me to come back. That immediately felt off. The second red flag was that I asked for almond-shaped acrylics, and the technician immediately started putting tips on without ever asking what length I wanted. He just assumed I wanted them short. By that point I was already committed, so I just went with it. As the service went on, I also noticed the salon wasn't as clean as I would expect. There were leftover decorations up and everything was just dirty and had stains on it, and debris around the work area, and it just didn't give me a great feeling. To be fair, the pedicure came out really nice. They opened what appeared to be a sealed pack of sanitized tools, which I appreciated, and I'm happy with how my toes turned out. The acrylic nails, though, were another story. The technician left noticeable gaps between the acrylic and my cuticles, as well as along the sides of my nails. They're also extremely thick. My boyfriend, who normally doesn't notice nails at all, actually asked if they were press-ons because they looked so bulky and fake. It's only been about a week, and because of the large gap near the cuticle, they already look like they've grown out for several weeks. I know sometimes a last-minute appointment is all you can get, and that's why I stayed. But if I could do it over again, I would have gone somewhere else. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this salon based on my experience.

Today, though, was a completely different experience. I arrived a few minutes early for my scheduled appointment. They had me sit, choose my colors, and everything seemed normal. In the back room, I noticed two technicians available, just chatting. I assumed they needed a moment. Fifteen minutes passed with no update, which was unusual. Then an older woman walked in, sat down, and suddenly the staff told me, "She has an appointment, so we're going to take her first for her mani and pedi." I reminded them that I also had an appointment and had already been waiting 20 minutes. Their response was that she specifically requested them, and I would be seen "when the other technicians are done", even though those technicians were clearly busy and nowhere near finishing. My appointment was overlooked without any communication, and as a long‑time client, I was extremely disappointed. The only person who acknowledged me was the woman cleaning the nail stations, she was kind, brought me colors, and checked in. No one else did. Shame on you guys. I won't be returning, and it's clear why your reviews have been declining.

I really wanted to like Fleur Nail Spa because the nail technicians themselves were wonderful. Kim…read moredid an excellent job on my toes, and Diana did an excellent job on my mother's toes. Unfortunately, the customer service and payment experience completely ruined our visit. From the moment we walked in, Salem at the front desk came across as rude and unwelcoming. Then there were multiple issues with our bill. We were first told we had been undercharged, then overcharged, and we were also given the wrong ticket amount. On top of that, my mother attempted to withdraw $300 from their ATM, but the machine only dispensed $180. We were told she would receive a refund for the missing money, but she still has not received it. What bothered me most was Salem's attitude when I questioned all of the changing prices and incorrect charges. Instead of apologizing or trying to calmly explain what happened, she told me, "That's just how we work here." When I expressed that I was unhappy with the situation, she even told me that if I didn't like it, I didn't have to come back. Then, after all of this, they called me again saying that they had undercharged me. The nail technicians deserve recognition because Kim and Diana were great, but the front desk customer service and the way the payment issues were handled were extremely disappointing. With so many billing problems in one visit, I would strongly recommend checking your receipt carefully before leaving and keeping documentation of any refunds you are promised. I definitely won't be going back.

This was my 2nd time at Zara. First time was wonderful. I am not a fancy nail gal and don't know…read morethe lingo well. I've mostly just done my own nails. However one index nail has developed a split that stops growing at a point and breaks. My clear enamel no longer did the job. But a lady at Zara, months ago, fixed it! I believe she put gel on that nail because it was shinier and higher than the others. It lasted a long time. I returned recently and requested the same thing. Did not get it. And there was a language barrier so although I did ask why they had not done the gel that I had been very clear to request when checking in, it was too late. And they seemed to sincerely believe that what they had done would fix my problem and two ladies (check-in person and the person who did the work) did their best to explain to me what had actually been done to that nail (one kept using the word "foundation"). Unfortunately not only did that nail split within only a couple of days, causing me to have to clip it, ALL the nails began losing their clear coat in layers. Layers that are peeling and catching on things like hair. I feel like they tried but either did not want to do what I asked or thought their way was better for a reason I never understood due to a language challenge. I will not return.
