I went in on Friday around 6PM for a gel pedicure and paid $55. Later that evening, when I got home, I noticed that the polish on my big toes had developed lumps and bubbles. When I gently pressed on one of them, the polish started peeling around the edges. I've been getting gel pedicures for years, and this has never happened to me. I called Lush the following day to explain what happened. Unfortunately, I was busy Saturday and couldn't make it in, so I returned on Sunday to have it fixed. When I arrived, I explained the situation to the nail technician and showed her BOTH toes. I also asked if I could change the color because I thought maybe there was an issue with the polish itself. I thought she understood, but there seemed to be a language barrier. She went to get the lady at the front desk, who explained that a polish change normally costs $32, but they would charge me $20 instead. I had already paid $55 for the original pedicure, and I didn't want to $20. So I decided to keep the same color. The technician proceeded to fix only my left foot. When she finished, she told me she was done. I reminded her that I had also shown her the problem on my right big toe when I first arrived. Her reaction honestly made me feel very uncomfortable. She looked at me as if I was making something up, started feeling the polish on my toe, and made facial expressions that made it obvious she was annoyed. She didn't say anything to me but proceeded to remove only the area where the polish was peeling instead of removing and reapplying the polish on the entire nail. At that point, I was already upset. I wasn't asking for anything extra or trying to get a free service. I simply wanted the $55 pedicure I had paid for to be done correctly. Instead, I was made to feel like I was lying and being an inconvenience. UPDATE (Monday): This morning, I looked at my right big toe and noticed that the polish had developed lumps and bubbles AGAIN! This is the same toe where the technician only removed part of the original polish yesterday. I've attached a picture taken today so you can see exactly what I'm talking about. It's extremely disappointing that I made a second trip to have this corrected, only to end up with the same issue less than 24 hours later. I wasn't even planning on writing this review because I've been a loyal customer for eight years and have always had good experiences here. Unfortunately, this experience has completely changed how I feel about returning. I'm genuinely disappointed because this was a place I enjoyed coming to for years.

The first person working on my nails was about to let me leave with noticeable clumps of builder gel still left on my nails. The photos attached are after she had "fixed" it. I then asked if they could at least buff and smooth out the remaining product. Just SOMETHING to make my nails look better and smoother but, they seemed frustrated because she had a pedicure waiting. I believe the owner or someone in charge eventually took over. Everyone spoke Chinese and only few words was spoken to me. She clearly saw that the nails needed additional filing and went over them again herself but it was still terrible. Another thing that made me uncomfortable was seeing an already opened pouch of tools being used right in front of me. The station I was seating in clearly was not cleaned up before they seated me. There was an open blue pouch of tools and powder every where. I'm sharing pictures so people can see the condition of my nails afterward. Unfortunately, I would not recommend coming here.
