Once admitted we were seated immediately as the restaurant was only about half full. The menu was quite simple with just half a dozen appetizers and their main dish, seafood rice served for 1 or 2 people. The rice took about half an hour to prepare. It was delivered still bubbling a bit. The red tomato based soup was full of rice, mussels (some in the half shell), whole shrimp and not quite half a crab. The restaurant provided a shell cracker but the tiny forks for removing the crab meat from the leg would've been quite helpful. The rich tomato soup was the best seafood rice from our trip. I was told by multiple friends, I must try their seafood rice and this place was well known for it. We did make a dinner reservation and would recommend it as this place gets packed. Soooo I might have gotten tourist trapped through TikTok, oops!! In the offseason I was able to snag a same day reservation for an 8pm dinner, although when I arrived at the place there was no wait anyway. There's one main entree on the menu and that is the seafood rice. The only thing you decide on is the size you get. We got the large for maybe 2-3 adults. The dish will take at least 25 minutes to come out, just something to be aware of. The steaming pot of seafood was very homey in that it reminded me of something I could make at home, which wasn't necessarily a bad thing. There was a serviceable amount of shrimp, crab, and mussels. Be prepared to use your hands, it will get messy. I love that the rice got soupier and more flavorful as it cooled. I am surprised that this is not Michelin Starred. Reservations are a must. Preparation takes 30 minutes and came to our table on the dot. we found this restaurant on google and it was within 5 minute walk from our hotel. The remaining seafood has been cooked to death. the shrimp and crab and all others besides the razor claims are all jerky level texture with flavors sucked out. I suppose it has been cooked for hours all the flavor has gone into the rice/sauce, etc. I guess this could be an ok deal if you come as 1 person however for more than 1 person i would venture to other restaurant with better quality and taste. Important things to know beforehand: - Like I said, there's only one dish. They won't even give you a food menu. You'll eat seafood rice, and seafood rice only. It's pretty good, but the seafood they use is frozen, albeit decent enough quality, I thought. The dish itself is not salty, and was palatable for this Korean-American family. - If you eat the bread (don't, it's tasteless), cheese, etc. that they put on your table without any word/warning, you will be charged an upwards of 10 Euro, which is 2/3 the cost of a portion of seafood rice. This was an extremely disappointing (and shady, tbh) part of the meal for us, as what they give you on that bread/cheese/spread plate does not taste NEARLY as good to warrant the 10 Euro. - Cash only. The tables are small and very close together but there were many tables so even though I came with a group of 8, they accommodated us well by making a long strip of tables for us. We also didn't have to wait to be seated since it wasn't busy when we arrived. They decided on our behalf to make two big pots of seafood rice, one for each group of four. While we waited for the food, they brought over bread and spreads (butter, tuna pate, sardine pate, and a creamy cheese). I really enjoyed the bread, which was crusty on the outside but soft and fluffy on the inside which paired really well with the spreads that they provided. The cheese was very soft and creamy, making it a perfect spread. The pots of seafood rice were huge! It came out steaming hot and initially looked soupy with the rice at the bottom and tons of seafood on top, all covered in a rich and savory tomato broth.
