A little pricey for Fallbrook but Oh So Good! SO had the octopus tacos and I had the whole tilapia in Garlic sauce. Mine was sincerely Finger-lickin'-good. SO's must have been delicious too since he left nothing to take home. I'm not normally an octopus fan, but a taste of his was delish. Flour tortillas tasted homemade, service was excellent, salsa was mild and tasty, many meal options were authentically Latin American, and parking was good. There were some traditional Taco-stop and American offerings e.g. hamburgers and quesadillas. These must have been options for the kids. The ambiance was family-oriented with sports on the TVs. They aired boxing (my fave), basketball, and a Mexican game show. Whatever. I was too knee-deep in homemade ... everything, to pay attention beyond noticing it was there. I ate my tilapia with my fingers to ensure nothing was left behind. Reminded me of food I had in Ixtapa Zihuatanejo. I had the house red, perfect for the meal, and SO had a craft beer. I brought home the tilapia head. Couldn't finish it and I wasn't about to let a bit of it go to waste! This will be my Fallbrook go-to for a special Latin American meal and I will definitely be checking out the Happy Hour which surprisingly starts at Two. So Delicious!!!! Brought my parents out for a really nice meal, here they did not disappoint!!! They had a Chile Rellano plates, the savory Rice & Beans made it Perfect!!!! I Had the Shrimp Aguachili Cevichi Tostada, So Refreshing & Delicious with the right amount of spice!!! My husband's Shrimp Fajita plate was so Excellent!!! I'm not sure what happened to this place. Our family used to eat here weekly. The last two times our orders have had something wrong with them and when they offer to "replace" it, bring back half a plate of the now cold food from your old plate? Been here 3 times, first two times were pretty good. Last time though was horrible. We will not be returning. Our server was extremely rude and acted like we were bugging her by asking questions about the menu (she didn't even know if a burrito came wet or not). 2/5 meals ordered were brought incorrectly prepared. And one had a large piece of what looked to be a string from someone's clothes? Or a rag inside of it. Food was cold and soggy. Once I showed her that there was a string in the burrito, she was snappy and rude again. Didn't apologize or anything. After that she never once returned to the table. Your menu is so extensive that it took me 10 minutes to decide which delectable entrée I would try. I ended up with the enchilada Suiza's and did not need rice or beans. I asked if I could have a salad instead. I wish you would've brought the huge salad before my dinner as I didn't have any appetite to eat it after the enchiladas. It was a complete waste of money. The food came out quickly! The guacamole and salsa was very tasty And this will be our go to restaurant for Mexican food in our sweet town. Both these locations are great!I know that when you visit a place that specialize in mariscos it's a weird move to order anything else. But don't let that stop you from getting the savory carne asada. If you want the best of both world get the molcajete pacifico! And the Cazuela de Marisco has a special spice to the sauce! I gave them several tries as I used to love Mariscos in different places. Service was OK, and the waitresses were nice and helpful, service was quick. The last time I ordered a seafood cocktail it said "oysters", but it came with one miserable oyster on the side almost floating in tap water (not to mention I asked not to wash it). They used to put 2-3 oysters on the top, now I had some shreds of something instead of oysters. If you don't have oysters, don't make it, but don't cheat. But there's another element, unknown to most who walk in, that elevates this shop above the rest. Zozimo, the proprietor, is a philanthropist. He offers his resources to help the local disadvantaged. Absolutely the worst restaurant in Fallbrook. Service took over any hour to get food. When we finally got our food the order was wrong. If people tell you they have food allergies you accommodate. Especially if it's accommodating on the menu. This place is gonna get someone sick or killed. To top it off the the Manager doesn't care to make it right. We had our rehearsal brunch here for 36ish guests, on the patio that was fully shaded and nicely decorated. The food was really good and came in large portions. Came here on the recommendation of a local who said they have something called the fried avocado. It was like a mozzy stick had sex with on avocado basically. It was deep fried in tempura and delicious. Dip it in ranch. Can't speak for anything else but they have a nice little patio and the chips and salsa were god. read more

This was our first time here and we could not have been more delighted! First of all, the service was perfect. Everyone was happy and attentive. The meal was pure perfection if you want authentic Mexican. I had grilled shrimp in a spicy sauce. I love spicy food and often can't get the right level of fire. I asked our delightful server to make sure it's spicy. She smiled and said, "It's spicy!" She wasn't kidding. It was delicious - served with authentic rice and beans and hot flour tortillas. My husband had the Bisteca Ranchero. He's the opposite of my on the spice spectrum so was worried it would be too hot. Again, we asked the server and she said it wasn't too spicy. He was pleasantly surprised and loved his meal. To top it off, they make a great Cadillac margarita and have Fallbrook wines (which are delicious). And - we sat on a lovely patio with Mexican music playing which made for a great atmosphere. Everyone had masks on until they got to their tables and all employees wore them.
