First time coming here. I work in Downey and I've passed by this place many times. Finally had a chance to eat here. We arrived and they sat us down right away. Our servers came and took our orders. They gave us a red napkin and we asked why and they explained to us since we are new they want to make sure you ask questions if you have any. The manager stopped by multiple times to see how everything was going and we said everything is going well. He even gave us a return card for a free appetizer. We ordered the octopus tacos which we're very delicious, the mix ceviche which was good and the mix fajitas platter which came with steak, chicken, fish and shrimp with mixed veggies and side of rice and beans. They also brought us tortilla chips and salsa which was delicious. The margaritas we ordered were very good . I will definitely come back again soon. Thank you for the amazing service. read more

Stopped in at Mariscos Choix for a quick couple drinks before heading to the movie theater and was pleasantly surprised. The vibe seemed amazing and we would have loved to stay longer if we didn't already have plans. We sat at the bar and received amazing serving from a wonderful bartender named Stephanie who made our experience amazing, she really made us feel comfortable and like we were the only people there. They have an amazing selection of tequila and mezcal and my girl loved their signature cocktails. It's a bit on the pricey side so be prepared to spend, but we will certainly be coming back for another taste. read more

Great service and food. Samantha was great. The sinoalonesen tacos, paired with a michelada. Great together

Well, a little disappointing. The ambient is very nice. Music on point. Great place for date night. The place doesn't look like much from the outside, but inside very nice. Drinks are very good and food was good, not great. A bit overpriced for what you get. Everything has some sort of spicy/chili seasoning. I'm talking from the beans and rice to the salad dressing. I can't believe they did not have any basic salad dressing. You need to be prepared for those folks who don't do spicy seasoned dishes. They tried to pass a house tartar sauce as ranch. REALLY It's still a must try, but if you don't do spicy be ready...enjoy read more

I been to Mariscos Choix in Downey 3 times, The 3rd time was Sunday it was remodeled nice and Beutiful place . My Family and I arrived around 6 pm Sunday May 3rd we were seated right away they had plenty of room and it was a nice and greeting environment.
