I love this place! The molcajete is one of the best plates I've had. It has a mix of shrimp, meat, sausage, chicken and grilled cheese it's so damn good and delicious. As far as the place itself it's very clean, modern and well organized and of course Service is great 10/10 read more

Arber was amazing from the start. He asked us if we were first timers and we were. All the questions we had he answered and he recommended food based on our taste. We got the aquachiles mixo and the half vodka half tequila oyster shots. I recommend both of these items. Service was great. And food was amazing. It's a bit loud but we specifically asked to be seated away from all the loud music. read more

Our waiter Moises was the best. It was our first time there. There was live music but yet family friendly. My husband and I order the molcajete and a ceviche de camarón tostada, and for dessert we got the Elote Flan. It was all delicious, We told Moises that they should open a location in San Diego, that way it's closer to us. read more

I absolutely love this place the environment, the food, everything. So far I've tried the fajitas, New York steak, tacos gobernador, and tacos de pulpo, and I can't complain... my stomach has been beyond satisfied every single time. The drinks, especially Mi Passion, never miss. If you like mezcal, it's a must-try highly recommended. And the service? A solid 10/10 every visit." Been here before and the food is good quality. However, they advertise on their website that their Downey location does reservations on open table, they even have a special event seating prices for the World Cup. I called cause they were asking for a credit card on file for my party of 9 which I've never got asked that before on open table. When I called the lady on the phone said they don't do any reservations at all despite me bringing up their own website advertising. They said they don't honor reservations and you would have to enter a waitlist once you get there. Seems like something the owners need to be on top of! Especially when they are trying to do a $90 dollar card hold for a reservation they won't even honor when you get there! My party ended up going elsewhere. read more

Amazing Experience - Can't Wait to Go Back! Today I had the pleasure of dining at this fantastic restaurant and it did not Disappoint! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a friendly host and seated quickly. The atmosphere was vibrant and lively especially with a live banda group playing, which added so much energy to the experience. The security team present was professional and gave us peace of mind while making us feel safe throughout our lunch. Our server, Ariana was absolutely amazing attentive, friendly, and constantly checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. The food was incredibly delicious! We ordered the filete empanizado, aguachiles, and tostada de camarones -- all flavorful and fresh. To top it off, we enjoyed a refreshing michelada and the stunning Mariposa drink super cute. The entire staff was knowledgeable, welcoming, and on point. It's clear they care about delivering a great experience. Will definitely be coming back soon! read more

Had late last lunch there today. The seafood was okay but we ordered the molcajete it was horrible for $54.99. Too expensive. The steak was very chewy and had a bone in it. Not sure what kind of meat they use. I don't think I will go back read more

The food was delicious! The server Andre did an amazing job attending to us as well. Love it! Thank you so much!

Honestly the food was really good everything had such good flavor and paired really well with each other. And the overall ambiance is cool especially knowing that they have live music. Now that being said; the service is terrible, our server Lourdes, pretty much left us alone the whole time we were constantly having to ask others for anything. The only time she came over to us to check on us was towards the end of our meal at which point we just wanted to pay and leave yet we couldn't even do that because once again we were left sitting waiting for someone to take our payment. There was also a point during our meal where they began moving a table across the room dangerously carrying it just above people's heads. Now in all my years of working in restaurants never have I ever seen such a reckless regard for the diners. This was our first and last time coming here. read more

Muy recomendado. read more

André was amazing great service. We came for my mom birthday and everyone loved the food

Food and service was great however I will never go and see a fight there again. I went with 4 people and was charged $60. Mind you not a big paperview event. They charge $15 per person and include it in the bill not upfront. Which means not only are you paying taxes on it but also a tip is included. $16 of unnecessary charges. Go for the food avoid the paperview events. read more

Mariscos los Choix se la rifaron! El customer service A1!! Rec this restaurant! Samantha took care of us really good!!

Decent food, however, the pulpo tacos were extreme salty. Additionally, I was changed $115 for having my two children with me :/ How does that make sense. I went to this restaurant with a total of 6 adults my 1yr old and my 2yr old and the waiter charged me for 8 adults to obtain a 20 percent gratuity. I found this to be unethical...As I was paying I noticed that I was being charged a 20% gratuity, when I asked the waiter she said, well there's 8 adults :/ I said, there's 6 adults and she shrugged, on their system, I gave them a "thumbs down." As I exited, the manager Daniel, spoke to me about the situation, he acknowledged that the waiter was in the wrong yet nothing was done, his main concern was not to recieve a negative review. Mariscos Choix Please don't lie for a tip. The restaurant has really good service, why would you be dishonest, highly disappointed. read more

Amazing patio areas! So proud, this place has come a long way but the food was and still is excellent. They have very fresh seafood which is very important. When I first walked in the host was very welcoming, sweet and beautiful. My waitress Valerie was also very sweet, she checked on me multiple times to make sure I was good. Also had a few other staff members making sure I had everything I needed. I had the michelada it was very well made and so refreshing. Since I was just passing by to avoid traffic I just had the tostada de ceviche de camaron it was delicious once again the fish is very fresh. Long ago before the restaurants glow up I tried the camarones cucaracha and they were amazing I hope to try them again on my next trip to this side of town. P.SI asked for the WiFi because I work remote and they happily gave it to me. Most places don't have any so this is also a good place to come and do work. read more
