Chose for breakfast on a whim. Very glad we did. Quick service, reasonably priced, food was nice and fresh. My "lighter side" breakfast included a single egg and I substituted a ham "half slab". Surprised me with an egg with a double yolk.

Stopped here for lunch. Had fish and chips. The place was 2/3 empty as we got there after the lunch rush and it was during the pandemic. It took almost 30 minutes to get our food. The fries were lukewarm. The coleslaw was meh. Saw the waitress groan loudly when we were being seated. The gal that seated us said our waitress would be right with us. It took 10 minutes before she came over. She didn't check on us. A sign that was almost 4' tall was plastered on the front door warning about eating out during the pandemic with how much of a fine the owners would get if not following it. We could see straight into the kitchen where we were seated. A cook had a balaclava on, but he took it off.

For such a small community this little town never ceases to amaze me with their hospitality and surprisingly good finds. Mariner's Cafe is no exception! Located in the same shopping plaza as the JCPENNEY and some small businesses, they have the ideal corner location that gets just the right amount of morning light without being overbearing and some of the nicest people around manning the ship. It is a place where the locals come to support the business and do not tire of the many options both the breakfast and lunch/dinner menus have to offer. We stopped in after an appointment in town and were delighted to have a delicious meal. It was the first time we've had breakfast outside of the home in 7 months. It felt really nice and safe - all of the tables inside were more than 6 ft apart and all employees were masked as were patrons, when moving about the place or eating. I had the veggie scramble with blueberry pancakes and fresh baked apple raspberry rhubarb pie (made sugar-free! And every bit as delicious as the real thing!) I was thoroughly impressed and look forward to checking back in the future to see what other pies they have!

They do have gluten free bread (not advertised on web or menu inside that I found) but after server heard about my sensitivities she saidshe has a very allergic friend and wanted me to be as safe as possible! So they made me a Club without the bread. It was perfect and I loved the extra olives. Thank you for caring about those of us who can't eat "normal"!

    Cooked to perfection!

Quite a lot of tasty food. Not inexpensive, but probably comparable to the other options. Very friendly staff.

Awesome burgers!!! Great selection as well. Be sure to order from Mariners Cafe directly, stay away from DoorDash if you want a fresh meal.

I was starving and asked for bread out quick which they accommodated despite it not being on the menu as an app. We had a little lag for our food, but they were slammed busy, not a single spot open at the bar or the tables. We use to get cards in the mail for $10.00 off for birthdays & anniversary's, but lately we have not been receiving any. His dad was finished with his meal before he every received his Burger. Cloe only offered a free salad, for her mistake! Upon receiving our bill, Cloe failed to take off my 15% discount for being a Totem card holder. We had to wait for this correction. Then she returns after making a several passes by our table with the bill, but we had to wait longer again for a pen. She spent more time chatting up top of the stairs! I asked the very nice Hostess if I could leave a note for the manager, who was not to be found, regarding our dining experience tonight. I even left my name & phone number. We started out with well prepared and balanced cocktails. For our main course, I ordered steak frites and my wife ordered fritters and a summer salad. The steak frites were great - cooked perfectly and I loved the miso kimchi butter and the base of greens. The fritters were hearty and spicy and the salad was a great balance of fruit and greens We ended our meal with the flourless chocolate cake - delicious and a great portion size. Service was helpful and friendly.

I do recommend reservations we got there right when the they opened and was able to enjoy a three course meal over a period of 3 1/2 hours which I know may sound like a lot of time but the menu is laid out so beautiful and with the specials to review we needed time to decide exactly what we were going to immerse our taste buds in. Libby was our server, so very attentive and patient. I wish every time I had services in this manner every time we dine out. Everything was paired perfectly in my lasagna, the sourdough bread was divine. You could definitely tell it was homemade. My weekend getaway partner in crime had a pizza which she told me later was the most delicious she has ever eaten. We eat a lot a pizza LOL! The drinks are made incredibly balanced. The mashed potatoes oh my gosh, what can I say? Heaven on a plate and the little crispy onion strings were not greasy didn't leave a bad taste. They were the best crispy onion strings ever hands-down. That could've just been my dinner by itself with the bread. I would've been satisfied. I was so excited to have the cheesecake because there was no crust which means I didn't have to have concerns about stomach issues or allergies and the very on top was perfectly with it. It wasn't overly sweet like I've had before. It was nice and firm and you could definitely tell that the food is made with love and time and consideration. The restaurant is clean. The bathroom is clean and well attentive too. We sat in the garden, which was a beautiful experience. The weather was just right. Thank you for taking the time to read my review as always please be safe out there and I'll see you all at my next bite *=*
