Kids grilled chicken with French fries and vegetables
    Tara M.

We ate at the Marina Kitchen multiple times during our stay at the Marriott. Not only was it very convenient the food was delicious and they offered a healthy grilled chicken kiss meal option for our 2.5 year old. The fettuccine was absolutely amazing. I feel like they were making the pasta fresh. I had this on multiple occasions. I don't think there was anything I had that I didn't like. Prices were high, but everywhere we went in San Diego were similar. Most of the servers were great and knew little nuances to make our dining experience better. Such as bringing out the food early for our toddler. Drinks were great as well. Very fresh and delicious.

Ideal location being housed within the Marriott with early and late night dinning and night caps. The restaurant ambience is very modern with the cellular room and a variety of space that wraps around allowing for multiple picturesque opportunities. There was a group on 8 staying on-site in which we came to mingle here multiple times throughout our stay. The first night it was busy. The waiters felt the burn and were not patient with large group asking questions and ordering... the bartenders were more at ease and friendly with orders. Another night, the Crispy Brussels sprouts were ordered. While the pairing sounds good and tasted good-- the appeal was not inviting. The drinks were yummy and I'd reorder some

Our family chose the Marriott Hotel's Marina Kitchen for Christmas Day dinner, hoping for a warm, elegant holiday experience. Unfortunately, the evening began on a bumpy note when the manager spoke to us in an unprofessional and dismissive tone while directing us to our seating. For a major hotel, especially on Christmas, this was both surprising and disappointing. We shared our concerns with our cheerful and friendly waiter, who agreed the interaction was unacceptable and kindly said he would do what he could to make things right. He spoke to the manager on our behalf and let him know that we were upset and considering a formal complaint. The manager soon after came to our table, apologized, and said he did not realize how he came across. To help smooth things over, he ordered a round of drinks for the table, which we appreciated, but he should have done more. We then proceeded to the buffet. The food selection was decent and tasted good, but the décor was surprisingly plain for Christmas Day, simple, dull, and lacking any festive charm beyond a tree and some poinsettias on the tables. For the price and the occasion, we expected something much more special and thoughtfully presented. If it were not for our friendly, upbeat waiter who truly made an effort to save the experience, we likely would have left. As a family, we decided that next Christmas we will not be returning. Instead, we'll choose the Hotel del Coronado, where the atmosphere, service, and festive presentation always feel magical and worth the occasion.

The restaurant has a nice, casual atmosphere with great service. The tomato soap is delicious, and the burgers are really good as well. It's also very convenient, which makes it an easy go-to spot. While nothing stood out as extraordinary, everything was solid and met expectations.

Maurice & John are the omelette king!!!!

We've been here a few times for dinner and Sunday brunch. Very enjoyable. Maurice & John are the omelette kings, making it exactly the way you want it, with a smile. Roasted beet salad for dinner, with chicken or salmon add-on is the bomb.

Came for lunch during a work conference at the hotel. We had a fairly large party and we're seated quickly. The crab salad I ordered was fresh and delicious, but definitely needed either another protein or a carb addition. It wasn't very filling. Most tables have a nice view of the pool.

GARLIC CREAM FETTUCCINI - ADD SHRIMP

Ordered the Garlic Creme Fettuccini with shrimp. It was good if you're wanting something very rich and creamy. Portion was a lot - good to share. Wouldn't order again. Was too rich for my taste.

This restaurant is located inside the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina. We came here for lunch during our stay at the hotel. Operating hours are from 6a to 10p (closing 2-5p). Inside is spacious and with contemporary design. Service is slow. We spend 15 mins waiting for our orders to be taken and then another half an hour for dishes to arrive. The food tastes average. Plating looks ok. The pesto tortellini is not with pesto. The burger comes with potatoes chips. When our order was taken, we were asked whether we want the burger with salad or fries. So we replied with fries without knowing that both salad and fries were charged extra $2. Also a duplicate order of market vegetables came which i sent back. We have four people in our party and we each order a dish. When the bill comes, as expected i see two market vegetables on the bill which i have to point out for the duplicate order to be taken out from the bill. All in all it is not anywhere close to a pleasant experience.

The food and cocktails are delicious! Very Friendly Service. Day or night, family, group gathering or even a date is a great idea. We came in as a group during dinner. After dinner with a few friends went there for wine late night chitchat.

    Chicken Fettuccine
    Valerie S.

Had a private event in the wine cellar. The barstools are horribly uncomfortable for a 3 hour dinner. The cellar itself is beautiful, but whoever thought of the seating needs to reconsider. It's narrow and hard for staff to maneuver. That said, Gigi was the bright shining star. She was so sweet and efficient and somehow omnipresent. She was the best. The shrimp appetizer, Parker rolls and chips were the best of the food I had. The piece of ribeye I tasted was good, but the cook was over. The chicken fettuccine was overcooked, both the chicken and the pasta. The chicken was so so dry and lacked flavor despite clearly having seasoning. It was strange. The pasta was almost mush. There was no cheese flavor at all. It was just bland. The Caesar salad had almost no dressing and there was little cheese. It was kind of like just eating plain romaine and croutons. The seven layer dessert was good but so very rich. It overpowered the ice cream that came with it. The espresso was good. Overall, passable because of a few bright spots, top notch service.

Well, the service in atmosphere is decent, the food is laughable. There should be no reason why they charge you $22 for a small flatbread that is almost entirely premade crust and barely any toppings. It is not worth it, and the taste is really lackluster.

This kitchen located inside the Marriott hotel in Downtown and serves only beverages. They do have a self service/ to-go menu for food, and its a pretty good one with quite a few vegetarian options. Its open everyday from 6.30 Am and closes at midnight. Our order was: 1. Roasted Beet Salad : delicious and filling 2. Shishito Peppers: ordered purely out of curiosity, it was great actually for a person who can handle spice. I ate it as a salad as is, but also put it in a tortilla to make it underated odd franky. Both were good. 3. Cacio Pepe Cauliflower: This is pecorino romano, ricotta, almond, with black and blue seasoning- I don't know half of the ingredients mentioned here...lol! - But it was good. 4. Creme Brulee : this was exotic. Overall , a great dinner enjoyed in PJ's in the hotel room.

Ruby was the first person I spoke with when I initially called, and she was lovely. The general manager Amber made planning easy - there were no deposits or minimums, I was able to order platters in advance, and she was great with communication. When I mentioned that the group loved Rumplemintz shots, Amber even set some aside after ordering extra bottles (and had it cold and ready when we came in). I was able to meet and thank Amber after we first came in, and she was so warm and welcoming and even gave us a few Rumplemintz shots on the house to kick things off (thank you again, Amber!). The reviews don't lie in terms of how good the food here is. When we arrived a little early, they had our platters ready almost immediately and kept them well-heated. We had platters of the sticky garlic wings and a mix of the garlic and regular fries, and ordered pretzels and queso and the elote dip à la carte for the tables. Everything was amazing and the sticky garlic wings and garlic fries were such a hit that we ordered a few extra plates of them as well (even though the platters were perfect for our group size). EVERYONE raved about them. We had a small amount left to bring home that were enjoyed the next evening and were still amazing after being reheated. A few people in our party got additional food items as well (burgers) and they were hits as well. The drinks were also phenomenal, with a special shoutout for the espresso martini and the Purple Haze mocktail (that a few folks liked so much they got an alcoholic version). We had a person in our group who can't drink and it was nice to see how inclusive they are with having a few signature mocktail options. The pricing was very reasonable, especially for the platters (they were perfectly sized, and we only ordered a little extra because the food was so good and we'd wanted to take some home). Highly recommend getting platters with a larger group here - you can pre-order and they keep everything well-heated for you the whole time. Most importantly, this place is a vibe and every single staff member we interacted with was SO KIND and accommodating. The service was top-notch and I wish I had everyone's names to thank them individually (thanks to everyone working Saturday, 8/1 evening!). We had the best time and Werewolf couldn't have been a more perfect place to host a Birthday dinner.

There is a "happy hour" on Monday but it's called Ouster Monday, oysters are $1 and they have different specials that are not offered on the normal happy hour. Got the crispy chicken wings, Wagyu longaniza, and burger The chicken wings were very crispy and came topped with a jalapeño relish. The relish had a citrusy taste to it or maybe it was the liquid from the pickled jalapeños. I liked the crispness of the chicken but I think the relish was too acidic for me. The Wagyu longaniza was my favorite, very strong beefy flavor. It came on top of salsa matcha which i thought was very tasty so much that I dipped the wings and burger in the sauce. The slice of radish on top gave it a nice texture and crunch. I see the Wagyu hotdog is offered on the oyster Monday special so I'm gonna have to come back and try that for sure. The burger was cooked nicely, medium as requested. It came topped with an egg, truffled onion jam, and cheddar cheese. The bun was nicely toasted and the egg and cheese added a nice rich element to it but I didn't care for the onion jam, it gave the burger an overall sweet profile. I'd simply ask for it without next time. Over all a solid burger, maybe I'd add bacon too. I also had a margarita which was on happy hour special. I asked for it to be spicy and they added a tajin rim which was nice. Spicy and refreshing! Parking is all on the street so I had to part a few blocks away. Overall a solid happy hour. I'll be back on Oyster Monday for the hot dog and fish collars.
