My favorite bar in San Diego! The food is always great, and the drinks are spot on! The bartenders are all very nice and knowledgeable. The vibe is very cool. I like how well lit it is during the day

Oh my where do I even start lol ... came in around 11 ish with a party of 4 they sat us down pretty quick which I loved and order our drinks. I'm mad I forgot our waiter name but she was amazing and very helpful when it came to just picking starters and drinks and about the restaurant and speakeasy I believe that how you say it but lovely experience over all definitely a vibe for a late bday dinner. Definitely a spot for a good girls night food was A1

Love! Came in early enough to have a short wait time to get seated, once seated we got some great recommendations from our server and food and drinks came out pretty quick. Loved the vibes inside and just chatting with the servers. Food was great and they were really accommodating! Will definitely come back when I'm in SD

The neighborhood: 8/10 Came for the speakeasy but stayed for Lauren. Service: 100/10 we had Lauren as the bartender and I would come back anytime just to grab drinks with her! She was fun, personable, attentive and overall just a joy. She really made a birthday celebration feel celebratory - she deserves a raise!! Aesthetic & Ambiance: 8/10 hustle and bustle bar is good, but l if you're coming for speakeasies make a ressy with young blood early, or you might be waiting an hour + for noble experiment. Mixed Berry Fix: 8/10 sweet, sour, strong all the three best qualities. I ended up swapping the bourbon for vodka which made it more like a spiked berry lemonade.

We came here after a padres game and it was great! The food was delicious and the drinks were very good! My favorite was the burrata plate which comes with burrata, prosciutto, asparagus, and bread. We also split the chicken sandwich and pierogies. The service was a little slow but they were busy given it was after a game. Would come back!

Why this place doesn't have 4.5-5 stars I can't tell you. It was an awesome experience. From the time we walked in to the time we were seated we had great service. The bartender was awesome as was our greater. The place is a bit dark just so you know. Now the food and drinks. In a word delicious. The wedge salad was really good as was the burger. The burger was small so prepare yourself. It's the size of a slider but delicious. The fries were also really good. The drinks were on point. The only complaint I would have would be the restrooms. Only two "gender neutral" shared between them and a speakeasy Nextdoor. Other than that great time there.

Came here on a Friday night around 8 or 9 and it was packed! They have food till late which is a draw in the area. I was a little intimidated by the amount of people since it's a small space, but the bartenders and waitresses were super nice and completely unfazed by everyone making do with standing room only. Initially we were waiting to get into Noble Experiment, but a table opened up and we were content to stay there and get some small bites. I had the game day special since the Padres had just played. The hot dog was good! It came with a beer and this medicinal tasting shot/digestive which I did not like though haha. There's a good selection of beers for $8-10 and cocktails for $15. Food was decently priced $20 ish? I'd like to come back again when it's less crowded!

Atmos was great. We ordered and it took 20 minutes to he the drinks. And one drink came out as a beer and not a cocktail so that as another ten minutes. Seemed severely understaffed. Drinks were great.

Drew & Dave were awesome! The food and drinks were perfect, so delicious. Very cute inside and nicely decorated. Loved it, thanks for taking great care of us!

Walking in, Neighborhood is a fairly small and intimate space with a dark/moody vibe. There's no host stand/area marking where you should wait, and so after standing there for a second, someone came and mentioned that the bar is all open seating (first-come) and that for tables they wrote our name down and would call us back/or we could hang in the back area until a table opened up. Although we didn't have to wait too long, this initial set-up was a bit strange to say the least. The pierogies were a great starter! A lot of flavor from the sour cream and the potatoes. I really liked this one a lot. We also got the Bing Bread which is low-key one of the best things we had! For only $5 don't sleep on this. Airy, fluffy, doughy, it's hard to explain the texture. Maybe an airy pita-like pizza dough? Amazing and a must get. The hood burger was solid and I appreciated the cheese blend of bleu and gruyere. It gives it that extra funk that I don't typically go for but I still enjoyed. The bolognese was a classic home-cooked type of comfort that hit the spot. One other thing that I appreciated were the prices for the items we got. Considering this is a CH Project restaurant, our meal was definitely worth the price and would happily come back.

It's been a year since I've last visited, but since I'll be visiting SD again, I'm here to write a very late review. To get to Noble Experiment, you go through the Neighborhood. We had time to kill AND I was hungry so we decided to sit at the bar and order some bone marrow. The bone marrow was delicious! I love when my lips are so oily and glossy from bone marrow. Interior was cute and I remember our server and bartender being so engaging and sweet. Would def come back!

Really solid option in downtown San Diego! We came with a group of 4 on a Friday night at 7 and didn't have a wait but it quickly filled up shortly after. The space inside is definitely reminiscent of other CH restaurants but a darker, moodier vibe. A lot of people were walking through to go to the two speakeasies in the back too. They have mostly cocktails and beer for drinks. They do have single options for wine by the glass and a few more bottle options. For beer I was impressed that they had a few sour beer options! You definitely don't see those as much. For food we split the blooming onion and my partner and I got the chicken sandwich and the bean burger. The blooming Onion was pretty good! I like that it's more onion forward than onion rings. The sandwich and burger comes with fries which we weren't expecting. My partner loved his chicken sandwich and said it did come with some heat from the Nashville sauce. The bean burger had really good flavor but was completely falling apart when I was eating it.

NOT a kid- friendly restaurant Menu is limited but everything we had was delicious! Blooming onion Bolognese pasta yum Simple wedge salad... perfect The service was super friendly and the place had an old time feel. More of a bar setting but there were booths for groups of 6 or more

The glass that I was served in had this egg like smell - that threw off my pallet a bit by the time I received my food. For food, I ordered the pizza munchkins. Which was basically just like a little round breadsticks with Parmesan cheese on top and on the side it came with spiced shakshuka sauce, poached egg and cilantro. The bread was very tasty. It was warm. You can tell that it was fresh. I felt like the sauce needed a bit more acid and salt. Especially the poached egg. I felt like it needed some salt. And I could tell that they had just poached the egg and they were keeping it in warm water because it was really firm. Texture wise the bread was tasty. I wasn't a fan of the egg or sauce. The ambience it seems like there's a lot of seating once you walk in. It was pretty empty when I got there, but by the time I received my food, it filled up pretty quickly. And there's even an area for families to dine in the back area where the coffee shop normally is. I wasn't that impressed but I'm gonna try and come through one of these days for the coffee and see if I have a better experience.

So good and such a comforting combo. That said, Harland is way more than just a coffee shop. It's also a brewery and a full food spot with solid options from breakfast through dinner. Today I stopped in for lunch and ordered the chicken tenders tossed in hot honey, to go. Wow easily some of the best I've had. Crispy, flavorful, and perfectly done. I also love that you get fries with your meal... I know that sounds crazy but the majority of the restaurants in the area are expensive for what you get. Which most of the time is just the entree alone without any sides. This place lets you pick between a salad or fries. Both solid options and they give you generous portions. What really stood out was the staff. They were incredibly thoughtful and made sure to put the hot honey on the side (and plenty of it!) so the tenders wouldn't get soggy. That extra attention to detail made the meal even better. Not to mention how warm and inviting the location is as well.
