Lets just get down to it, the food is amazing. Everything is cooked and seasoned perfectly. You will be sitting there so full and still want to eat more its crazy. The dishes here are made so differently that i have seen anywhere before and this is how it should be done. Now the establishment itself, it feels perfect where it is, right at a Downtown metro station. The drink menu available is also far from lacking. You will have no trouble finding what you need here. This is an excellent spot to either your night out in Downtown or to end ur day with the best food and drink.

Juju was super cool and the Carne Asada fries were amazing! Definitely coming back next time were in SD!

Cool place! The flatbreads are good. Nice wine selection and very friendly staff! Got a flatbread with pepperoni and olives and a focal banger, give this place a try!

Eli was very friendly and welcoming the moment you come in. Makes you feel at home and not rushed like most bars these days. The food was awesome and fresh. Would definitely come back again. Looking forward to big things coming. Hidden gem that just opened up!

Michelada yum!

Tacos here are just great, generous in size and very reasonably priced. This place is definitely worth a visit.

Service and food are excellent. Behind the beer glass are some bare plates from the shrimp tacos and pork torta.

The place was pretty empty when I walked in. I was told to leave before I could even place an order. Definitely will not be coming back.

Hands down my favorite new pizza spot. Far Corner Pizza absolutely nails it. The bread alone is…read morenext level it somehow tastes like it's made with East Coast water (IYKYK) and like a hint of sea salt. I ordered the Margherita and it was incredibly flavorful, not bland at all like some places tend to be. The crust was perfection: crispy on the very thin outside, soft and airy on the inside and tasty, with that subtle sea salt coming through in every bite. It's honestly hard to explain, but the pizza just tastes phenomenal. You can tell real care goes into it. This place is a must-try, and I'll definitely be back.

I'm not sure about this place yet. I don't know why but the bartender couldn't get my card to work…read moreand he kept telling me that it's not working and I told him it should be fine because well why wouldn't it be and he struggled for a bit eventually he got help from another bartender. As soon as that bartender helped me it went through. I went during their happy hour, and I got their blonde. The glass that I was served in had this egg like smell - that threw off my pallet a bit by the time I received my food. For food, I ordered the pizza munchkins. Which was basically just like a little round breadsticks with Parmesan cheese on top and on the side it came with spiced shakshuka sauce, poached egg and cilantro. The bread was very tasty. It was warm. You can tell that it was fresh. I felt like the sauce needed a bit more acid and salt. Especially the poached egg. I felt like it needed some salt. And I could tell that they had just poached the egg and they were keeping it in warm water because it was really firm. Texture wise the bread was tasty. I wasn't a fan of the egg or sauce. The ambience it seems like there's a lot of seating once you walk in. It was pretty empty when I got there, but by the time I received my food, it filled up pretty quickly. And there's even an area for families to dine in the back area where the coffee shop normally is. I wasn't that impressed but I'm gonna try and come through one of these days for the coffee and see if I have a better experience.

I would say this was probably our highlight of our trip in San Diego. Garrick, the bartender there, was super accommodating. So good and such a comforting combo. That said, Harland is way more than just a coffee shop. It's also a brewery and a full food spot with solid options from breakfast through dinner. Today I stopped in for lunch and ordered the chicken tenders tossed in hot honey, to go. Wow easily some of the best I've had. Crispy, flavorful, and perfectly done. I also love that you get fries with your meal... I know that sounds crazy but the majority of the restaurants in the area are expensive for what you get. Which most of the time is just the entree alone without any sides. This place lets you pick between a salad or fries. Both solid options and they give you generous portions. What really stood out was the staff. They were incredibly thoughtful and made sure to put the hot honey on the side (and plenty of it!) so the tenders wouldn't get soggy. That extra attention to detail made the meal even better. Not to mention how warm and inviting the location is as well. It is in the heart of South Park, which alone is already such a cute little part of SD. Between the drinks, the food, and the consistently great service, I keep coming back and at this point, I'm definitely a regular. Can't wait for my next visit!
