I ordered from Marco's this morning for pickup at 11am and unfortunately was really disappointed with the experience. For my order, I got a large Hot Honey Magnifico pizza, asked for thick crust, added Italian sausage, onion, mushroom, and tomato, and requested it well done. That pizza alone came out to about $40, so I was expecting it to be made correctly. However, it was missing the hot honey entirely, the crust wasn't thick like I requested, and the dough wasn't crispy either. We also ordered a large Hawaiian pizza, also well done, but the dough wasn't crispy at all. In total, we paid around $63 for both pizzas (after a 15% off coupon), which makes it even more disappointing when the order isn't made right. For those prices, I think it's fair to expect accuracy and quality. I'm hoping this was just an off day for them, but based on this experience, I was definitely let down. read more

I've heard this pizza place before and I said let's stop by and try it. I'm glad we did. It was a really good pizza loaded with different types of toppings. We had the ultimate meat lovers which had five different types of meat. I was surprised to see that one of the meat was actually spicy, but it was not bad at all. I read on the reviews to add double sauce so I added a double sauce which I'm really appreciated about because it helped make the pizza even better. I had a garlic Romano glaze around the sides of the pizza, which gave it a nice filling flavor definitely a grab and go, and we were able to eat it in our hotel room the kids and gobbled it up and we enjoyed it as well. The service at the restaurant was nice and friendly and they were able to get us our order within the timeframe that we placed it online and picked it up probably roughly around 15 minutes. The pizza was delicious and most of all I could tell it was made with love. I went with some friends, and we got to talk with a very kind and generous woman who I presume to be the manager. Since that interaction, I've been promoting them to whoever I can. It's very clear to me that they care about being a force for good and want to use their business to make the community a better place. We need more businesses like this and I fully intend to come back soon. TWO WORDS - PIZZA BOWLS !!! I had heard a lot of good things about the Marco's in RB, so when this one opened in Escondido, we were excited to try it. However, we've been on keto / cutting carbs, so pizza was not on the horizon. Until, we realized they had pizza bowls! We called in an order for the Ultimate Magnifico Pizza Bowl (2 types of sausage, 2 types of pepperoni, all kinds of cheese + sauce). The employee that took our order was super nice & enthusiastic about our choice, and the cashier was really friendly, too. The place was pretty busy when we got there. Someone ordered a salad to-go and it looked good enough that I might add it to our order next time. The bowl itself was tasty, saucy (but not watery), and did not skimp on the ingredients. I paired the bowl with a salad at home, and actually did not finish the whole bowl - it's a generous size. The price for 2 bowls was also pretty affordable ($7ish). The food is mediocre at best honestly but it does job. My wife ordered through Uber eats and hit send on the wrong card instead of my card. I was already a little irritated by the $75 for our order of 2 pizzas and a sub. Anyway, she canceled in less than a minute and Marco's marked it as already starting the order so we got a $50 cancellation fee. Uber Eats said to call Marco's and Marco's said there was nothing they could do. So I am out 50 bucks and will never eat at Marco's again. Seriously $75 for this quality of food is outlandish in itself, but to basically steal the 50 bucks on top of that is ridiculous. Luckily as I was doing the new order for Marco's the email hit about the fee so I didn't waste more money on them. Save your money there are better places you can spend it at. I typically let things go and I'm an easy going guy, but I am pretty astonished at this so I'm gonna make sure I post about this experience in as many places as I can. read more

I saw they had a 30% off pizza deal online and decided to try this place out. I ordered a pepperoni and a deluxe pizza. Portion-wise, they were generous with the amount of pepperoni and toppings on both pizza. I like the balance between crunchy and chewiness of the crust. Veggies looked and tasted fresh. The sauce wasn't bland, but it could use more flavor. The only negative thing I have to say is the price. I would not buy this pizza at regular price. 2.5 Stars. The pizza was not what I expected. We anticipated ordering from this new location since it was closer than the Rancho Bernardo location we use to frequent. I have to say the Rancho location is 3 steps up, 4 to 5 stars every time. The pizza here was okay, just not what I expected. Here are the main reasons: *Ordered online which allows for select modifications, so that's a bonus, but did not deliver on selecting - "Thick Crust". Ours was flimsy and only thick on the outside; not consistent, leaving the toppings falling off because the bottom area was very thin. *Requested "Well Done". It was barely well done. Ordered the "All Meat" and 2x old world pepperoni were undercooked - major disappointment. These type of pepperoni taste amazing when fully cooked - so I was a bit bummed. *Ordered a regular Caesar Salad with 2x dressing. The Caesar dressing is provided in a packet and they were warm when I took them out of our to-go bag. I opened one and it was rancid and smelled terrible - like it had not been refrigerated - I squeezed all three packets down the sink. Overall, disappointed we paid a premium price for a premium pizza and salad that unfortunately did not deliver. We enjoy Marco's, and hope this location will work to improve their preparation processes. read more

I ordered two medium size pizzas and a 6" sub that cost $75. I ordered through UberEats and realized I hit order by mistake and canceled less than 30 seconds. Marcos charged me $54.99 for a Cancellation fee. I contacted UberEats they said it was Marcos Pizza and to contact them. I called them and they wouldn't cancel the cancellation fee! I tried their so-called extra large pizza today the beginning of June 2024. It's very bland The vegetables were good nice thick slices. The crust is good. The pizza size I really wouldn't call it an extra large. But the sauce and the taste is very bland!!! I was adding salt to the pizza trying to help, but For the price, it's definitely not worth it. This review is based on service alone: you can no longer place delivery orders over the phone. Why this is bad: I live in Escondido, but when I try to order delivery online I am outside of the delivery area, which is weird, as I live down the street from this location off mission. So the delivery location is a small radius and their delivery company is door dash, so what's the problem? Well not an issue here anymore as I will be ordering from dominos from now on, as I never have any issues ordering online or over the phone. I was a big customer here, I ordered delivery all the time, but apparently starting April 1st that's no longer ok to do.
