Enchilada bowl at Cenote Grill with chicken, Spanish rice and black beans. Half red sauce & half green.
    Lisa G.

First time to Cenote -- we really enjoyed our meal and will definitely be back! Service was awesome. Got the enchilada bowl, which was delish! Wasn't sure if I wanted green or red sauce, so I got half and half. Liked both, but prefer red. My husband was deciding between a bean & cheese burrito and enchiladas, so the staff recommended he get the burrito "wet" (enchilada sauce on top). It was really good -- and bigger than you would expect a bean & cheese burrito to be (also had rice in it). Should have taken a photo of it. We heard it gets busy at dinner time, so went at 4:30 on a Saturday. There was plenty of seating for our party of six. By the time we left, the place was full.

Our first time at Cenote Grill was a good one overall. No qualms about the food; everything tasted fresh and flavorful. We sat out front on the patio with our pup, and we were forgotten about after margaritas were delivered, but at least we had drinks to keep us company! Eventually decided to go inside to order. From the fleeting views I got of the interior, I'd say it's a typical Mexican American joint. I will note that 5pm on a Friday had MANY in attendance, as Cenote is directly across the street from a LARGE seniors-only mobile home park. We would go back, but perhaps on a different day of the week and time of day.

Okay so at first I felt like this place was warm and welcoming. Food was okay one big suggestion is do not advertise these as pupusas Pupusas are not deep fried or use any of these toppings or sides Maybe promote it more like a fried quesadilla Anyways when we paid waiter came back and she said it didn't work it's probably fraud My husband confused pulled out another card and paid But that was so rude!!

Really good food, friendly team. Off the beaten path, but worth it. We've tried a variety of dishes and loved them all.

The food here has always been great in my experience. Try the Chicken Mole or the Chili Relleno burrito, both are excellent.

I did a mobile order pick up because that place seemed super busy when I went in to pick up my food. The sandwich is packed with fresh flavor and felt full from half a sandwich. Flavors and textures were a perfect blend of toast and crisp, and the veggies were still crunchy and not soggy. I tried their cookie for dessert and wow, so soft and not too sweet. All the sandwiches are fully customizable as to choice of bread and accoutrements, so keep that in mind. The garlic chili oil, chipotle ranch, and chipotle mayo spreads are all house made. I had the Turkey BLT with Avocado with "The Works", on a house made roll that they make daily. "The Works" includes mayo, mustard, lettuce, tomatoes, and chopped red onions. With the one inch thick stack of fresh, thinly sliced turkey and all those other delicious ingredients, this sandwich girl's heart was in heaven. I can't even describe how fresh every single ingredient was on this sandwich. Let's just say everything had a clean taste to it and not one ingredient overpowered the other ingredients. Oh! And I got a delicious house made chocolate chip cookie with the sandwich. There are daily specials. On Fridays, they supposedly have the best London Broil roast beef French Dip sandwich, with house made Au jus that is allegedly out of this world. Might have to make two trips to Tina's this week! A hidden gem.

I did however have a bit a negative experience, picked up lunch couple days ago and got a chicken kabob bowl and as I bit into it noticed the chicken was undercooked. Didn't have time to go back and share with staff.

Why did I come here?…read more With a hunger for mediterranean and the worry that nearby Aria may be a bit too pricey for a quick meal, I brought my son out to The Pita Guys for some gyro or shawarma. What we found were limited options, higher than expected prices, less than helpful staff, and not the best of food. Being my first time, I had questions about the menu. The young pair behind the counter didn't seem to know what they were serving, as they kept looking at one another for guidance with little ability to give me much relevant info on anything other than what types or protein they had. Once I finally ordered, they started to taking and filling the orders of people behind me. It wasn't until a much older woman came in from the back before my own dinner started being prepared. Seriously, it was a pretty weird setup. The food was served Subway style, where they go down the line asking what you wanted added to your wrap. Shawarma meat is minced, staying warm in a tub, and scooped to order by a spoon resting in a bin of cloudy water. Not only did it feel a bit gross, but it also seemed that the bulk of the juice in the meat came from that watery spoon, as the shawarma I ate was very dry. When it came to my son's Shawarma Plate, the menu stated that it came with two sides. What they don't tell you is that the only choices on the 'sides' menu open to you are Hummus and a Salad. The much more desired sides of Falafel, Baba Ghanoush, or even kid friendly Fries, were not offered. Needless to say, my son ate his chicken and rice, but wouldn't touch his hummus. So, a Shawarma Plate and a Shawarma wrap ... dinner for two, not a ton of food, neither of us were all that impressed ... and it cost us over $40. Needless to say, with how everything tasted and what it took to get ... we won't be coming back. For the price it cost us, I think we'll stick with the far superior Aria up the street. Or, at the very least, try the Kebab Shop down the block.

This is a "large" bowl for $17. Pretty sad considering you can buy an entire rotisserie chicken at any grocery store for like $6-10.

They serve a fair variety of sandwiches and other little items to buy such as coffee and cookies. The location is small with about a total of 5 seating areas including both inside, and out. For service they're all very friendly since it's primarily the family owners who serve you. You go up to the front and place your order and they'll bring the food you order to your table, they do close early since this is a breakfast spot first and foremost, so expect to arrive early if you want to eat here. I usually order The Works in a half since a full size sandwich is well over $20, excluding any additions or substitutions you may make. The sandwich does taste really good, but it does come at a steep price. They've grown in popularity over the years, which may have influenced their pricing (by a lot) which in my opinion does outweigh it's value. While I do enjoy my infrequent visits, I can say this location is more of an occasional treat, as opposed to a constant meal to be had often.

Honestly, I probably would have never found this gem on my own. I saw it on the app, checked Yelp to see if it was legit, and wow, am I glad I did. This place makes incredible sandwiches and it's incredibly close to where I live. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I placed my order anyway. The food arrived in under 30 minutes and I was shocked--shocked--by the size, quality, and flavor. The moment I unwrapped the sandwiches, I felt like I had just time-traveled back to one of my all-time favorite sandwich spots in the country, Little Luca's in San Francisco. That's saying a lot. Their Sicilian sandwich is absolute perfection. A brilliant sauce, generous cuts of meat, and the option to add arugula or lettuce. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and downright delectable. Most places serve tiny little subs and call them Italian sandwiches. Not here. Olive Branch is the real deal. And the meatball sandwich? Incredible. Perfectly seasoned meatballs and a rich tomato sauce that wasn't too salty and soaked into the bread just enough to give it this beautiful buttery quality. I also tried their broccoli cheddar soup and was totally surprised. It actually had a homemade taste with generous, tender florets of broccoli. Not that watery stuff you find elsewhere--this was cozy, comforting, and real. The whole vibe of Olive Branch speaks to me. It's homemade. It's delicious. It's my new go-to sandwich shop. I can't wait to try all of their other sandwiches, their Italian wedding soup, and their salad selections too. This is proof that promotions really do work. I never would've found this spot without DoorDash and Yelp leading me there. Now I'm envisioning an illustrious sandwich partnership between me and the Olive Branch. Salute!
