Prior to visiting this location, I made an appointment to look at the types of doors available on the show room floor. When at the location, I picked out two doors with the help of Chris Owens. Chris explained the process to me about how long the doors would take as well as what to expect. After I picked out the doors and paid 50% down, Chris came to my home and measured my door spaces to ensue the doors I ordered would fit in my space. The install of the two doors I ordered was done over the period of two days. the backdoor took about half a day to install because the frame had to be removed. The front door was done in the period of a few hours today. Corey was the installer for both doors. Corey (like Chris) was professional and personable. Overall, I had a good experience with this company. While the wait may be long for the doors, the final product as delivered is sharp looking.

Apparently he couldn't be bothered to read two whole sentences of email and only read the one half of the word "hardie" and I was supposed to understand that he had disregarded the rest of it. Listen: Maybe if you are a builder or something that is going to buy 2000 board feet they will give you the time of day. But even then I wouldn't want to support their dishonesty. This is a nice way to reduce in-person estimates and scheduling. They then provide a live walkthrough of the mapping and estimation through the same video chat. Once complete, they send the estimate along with the overhead screenshot view. Dayne was extremely helpful and professional throughout the call. He discussed and clearly explained the various items and insights on the work involved. All my questions were answered and their pricing seems good. We're still in the midst of getting estimates, but first impressions of Dayne and Ergeon have be very positive.

I've used Mister Key's fantastic reliable service twice now and will be recommending him to local…read morefriends. The first time he helped us change multiple locks after a move-in, plus he adjusted a very crooked doorknob and put in a peephole at a height accessible for a wheelchair user. (I really appreciated that he asked me for my input and had me test the height before drilling. He never once commented on or asked about my disability, just treating me with friendly respect like any other customer.) He also tried to rework a smaller lock system for us with multiple trips to the hardware store and was honest with us about why it wouldn't be possible, with suggestions for what else to try that was beyond his scope. Though I suspect that was frustrating for him, he never got angry but stayed level-headed and kind. Weeks later he came by to fix a mistake I made in buying an extra key at the Minute Key at the hardware store. Though he'd given us plenty of good quality extra keys, I was tempted by the pretty design. I had even splurged on whatever extra pricey service the Minute Key offered to buff the edges of the key so it'd be "guaranteed" to work better. And what did it do? The very first time I put it in the lock, it got so stuck it wouldn't even turn! A family member experienced in these things tried graphite on it and it wouldn't budge, but I knew John would be able to help. He came out promptly, didn't give me a lecture or anything about using the Minute Key (I was already so embarrassed) and made sure I knew he could always provide me with good quality extra keys. After he got the bad key out, he did a good job explaining why the lock was technically useable but might be damaged and at risk for getting stuck again. He knew we're on a budget, so I appreciated having an affordable option with the risks explained, but in the end I decided to have him re-install a new deadbolt. He got the job done quickly and carefully at a very reasonable price. I feel safer with new locks in place and also safer knowing John is just a text or call away if I make another mistake (though I promise I've learned my lesson)! Thanks, John!

He was called for a rekey, and was able to schedule us for the next day after we called him in the evenin. He even adjusted the door hinges. Door and latch closed much better than it did before the door was rekeyed. I did not even know it was possible to improve the latching. Definintely great value for the price. And a better working door than before.
