Apparently he couldn't be bothered to read two whole sentences of email and only read the one half of the word "hardie" and I was supposed to understand that he had disregarded the rest of it. Listen: Maybe if you are a builder or something that is going to buy 2000 board feet they will give you the time of day. But even then I wouldn't want to support their dishonesty. As an individual: Avoid!

Do not come to this store expecting help unless you already know exactly what you need…read more I brought in a washing machine drain pan plug and needed help figuring out what size hole saw to use to cut an opening for the drain hose. The first employee I asked had no idea. I asked for someone who could help. I was told to go to the front desk for assistance. I waited in line, asked the cashier, and she also didn't know. I had to ask for additional assistance. She sent me to find another employee on aisle 2. Thankfully, that young man was the only bright spot in this experience. He took the time to measure the piece I brought in with calipers and helped me determine I needed a 1 1/4 inch hole saw for PVC. He was professional, patient, and genuinely tried to help. Meanwhile, the checkout situation was equally frustrating. The line grew to three times its original length. Another cashier was called up, customers moved to the shorter line, and then were told to go back to the original line until they were called over. There was no signage or clear direction, so every new customer repeatedly got in the wrong line. It was poorly set up and not customer friendly or logical. The store would benefit from more employees with subject matter expertise, stronger customer service training, and a more organized, customer friendly process for opening additional checkout lanes. I doubt I will return, which is unfortunate, because with better staffing and clearer systems this could have been a very different experience. The only saving grace was the one employee who sincerely tried to help.

So he gets a welder for Christmas and then needs some stock to build a welding bench. I tell him to make a plan about what he needs and to find a metal shop and we'll go get a quote and pick Up what he needs. Man, I was figuring he was gonna be in for a rough ride on this one. But the guys at Westbrook we AWESOME. Super patient with him walking through his project, giving him a quote, working on a re-quote, and when the price still wasn't in the dad budget, helped him select some useable parts from the scrap area to work towards what he needed. And when they learned he was just starting out, they said "hold on, we've got some scrap that's too small to sell" and handed him a box with about 10 pounds of small parts and told him to go practice... which he did." (He managed to build a nightstand like table with them... not bad!) Long story short, my son has a new hobby and I will basically go here from now on whenever we need metal or welding supplies, because the level of service is out of this world.

Once the rest of the space came together, it was clear the chrome felt out of place. The new gold faucets align beautifully with the overall design and add warmth and elegance to the room. They tie everything together in a way the chrome simply couldn't. What felt like a small change ended up making a big visual impact, elevating the finished space and giving it a more cohesive, intentional look. If you're on the fence about switching hardware finishes, this is proof that even after the "big" remodel work is done, thoughtful finishing touches can truly transform the final result. I was literally wowed when I walked into their showroom last Saturday. It was a mecca for everything home. Honesty, if you can't find it here, I don't know where you can. The only quibbles I have is that they do have departments and specialists for each department. I worked with Aaron in appliances but he could not help me with anything other than appliances. I also spoke with Kelly the day before by phone--both extremely pleasant to work with. Their computer system is not tied into their floor inventory, and apparently hard for even their staff to navigate, making identification of available stock on floor challenging without eyes on. Their desk phones are not wireless, so checking on an item on the floor means holding or calling back from cellular. This is a small, family-owned business. Now that Harway is no longer family owned and a part of the Ferguson brand, the choices for shopping local are dwindling. But don't let family-owned mean expensive. They price match with big box and offer much better service to compete strongly. Although I did not buy that day, I have them in mind for a couple of items. Recommended. Five stars.
