Found Moore Supply recently for the parts to replace a damaged pipe and old pressure relief valve. Called from another shop down the street that was dong their very best to overcharge me for some basic parts necessary for the repairs. I spoke with Ryan at Moore Supply and asked if they might be able to help me figure out the best replacement parts for a 25 year old damaged pipe and worn out pressure relief valve. He suggested I come in and bring the part. As he hung up, I was walking through the front door. Busy day for them so I waited until it was my turn and laid out the parts and project on the counter. Ryan took one look at them and knew exactly what to do. He came back out with the pressure relief valve, ball joint needed and suggested that although we could use PVC or a copper pipe, pex would be the best option. I clenched my teeth and steadied by stance preparing to hear what it would cost. I was blown away by a very reasonable price quote for a fraction of the price of the shop I just left. In a just a few minutes Ryan helped me put together the project for assembly, handed me a brand new pressure valve, ball joint and perfectly fabricated pex pipe and fittings and I was out the door on the way home to finish the repairs. Everything, including their valued help and experience in planning out the repairs for less than $150.00!! Nice people, fantastic customer support, ethics and integrity makes me proud to support another local company. Especially after the nightmare I had just escaped. Thank you Ryan and thank you Moore Supply!

I walk in 8 months ago...ask what sort of brick would be good for an accent wall and the guy at the front (no longer works there) seemed like he wanted nothing to do with me. He says idk what we have, take a look at that wall. I didn't know what I was looking at as there were samples of random assortment. After finally digging on my own and finding something, I asked how much this would be.."not sure, I haven't ever sold those". We get past all that, he finally gives me a quote and says it will be here in 3-12 weeks. Really..what kind of range is that?! I waited every bit of 12 weeks. I HAD TO CALL EVERY WEEK TO FIND OUT IF IT WAS ON THE WAY. The last call was "oh yeah, we've had that for several weeks"..Once I go to pick it up I find it to be on a pile. 20% broken, no packaging or boxes..just a pile. What the heck am I supposed to do with that. One by one I had to load hundreds of bricks into my truck and off of it. Because of all the broken pieces, I came up short. Guess what, another 10 weeks for 70 more bricks! 20% of those are broken. AND they tried to charge me for them. During all this I was transferred to several different reps that didn't have my order number. Half of those reps no longer working there. My best advice..scrap everything you do MPI. Scrap it all. Re-hire and re-train. Incorporate software that actually talks to each other. Just start over. Thank God I hired a great contractor to do the work because at the end of the day my brick wall looks dope. I'd spend double the amount to go somewhere that has their stuff together. End Rant.

I explained to them that "it's 2;15 pm the afternoon of the pour!!!!, "I had already paid for a concrete pump truck four hour service starting at 4 a.m."(set up)...pump truck is an independent and non- refundable to be here for 4 hours so that we could accomplish our pour in Texas heat ...in August and we were going to start pouring at 5:00 a.m... Junior attempted to bully me and said flatly "your concrete will be there at 9". Tex Mix called at 2 pm and left me 3 business hours to get a competitor to prepare a custom blend and deliver on prescribed intervals......This is AFTER Tex Mix had already taken my credit card (for) payment!?! When I called back the salesman, sales rep, sales manager, and general manager,.....All were unable to take my calls and dispatch told me to "call different managers at different locations to see what they could come up with".Two days later none of them even returned any of my emergency messages that I left. They talk a great game and nod to Brandon in the QC department he actually acted like he cared. He was very knowledgeable with great advice was even going to come out to the pour..... They talk so cool that butter wouldn't melt in their mouths... Their pricing is far from the best. Their service is the worst I could possibly imagine..... to cancel late the afternoon of a 5:00 a.m. pour. They are great at customer service and have a great QC guy to answer questions.... They just suck at delivering product when and where they promise......no matter how far ahead you schedule or how many times you confirm with them to avoid this nonsense. I made 1 call to a competitor and great service, great product, better pricing ,and great communication.

Tex Mix claims on their website: "FAMILY OWNED AND…read moreOPERATED. We are large enough to handle any size project that you might have and small enough to care about every one of them." I am an owner/builder of a project that required 4 trucks of concrete, scheduled for 8 am. I had all my help ready, my pump truck operator on site, and ready(charging by the hour...) I get a call from TexMix after 8:00. They have a big job that the builder got off to a late start that morning. How late did that push my project back? Nearly 4 hours later, the first concrete truck arrived. Additionally, they could not provide trucks at the agreed upon intervals between loads to give my crew adequate time to slow pour a rather technical concrete wall project. Ended up costing me a full day of renting the pump truck rather than half a day. Any offer to pay for the extra cost of the pump truck? Not at all. "Small enough to care" about every project may sound warm and fuzzy as a marketing slogan, but Tex Mix fell drastically short. Not only were they unable to fulfill the order of the larger contractor that same day, but they ended up hurting the smaller guys they claim to care about. Tex-Mix. Clever Texas name, but devoid of true Texan values. The true-to-their word Texans who stuck around to help me pour concrete on the hottest afternoon in October were the heroes of that day.
