Food was very gross staff didn't know the menu. It was an over all bad experience and not worth the money paid. I will never go back.

Food was more like 4/5 stars, giving a 2 star review for service. Food took almost 30 minutes to arrive at the table. Waitress claimed they did not have any change to give us after paying with cash, yet one of us paid with some change to make it even One dirty fork was not appealing either. They didn't have the exact steak we wanted so they gave us an extra large portion of a similar steak, at no additional cost. Love it.

The food was really good. But I was meeting a friend for lunch who is still working. It is close to her job (5 minutes) but the food was very slow. She ordered the house soup which she got fairly quickly and liked. She had ordered a side salad. I had ordered a chicken ceasar salad. So her soup came first. Then about 20 minutes later her side salad. Then another 15 minutes later I got my lunch. So we ate together a total of maybe 10 minutes before she had to get back to work. The food wasn't the issue but if the kitchen doesn't get better they will never attract the working crowd. The waitress was great. Very friendly and was obviously working hard. read more

Called at 8:15 and asked what time delivery ended, was put on hold for 15 minutes before I decided to cut the call. I called again and the receptionist apologized and said delivery ended at eight then said goodby and to have a good day. I called for a third time and said I wanted to pick up a order and was immediately put on hold for another 25 minutes. All I wanted was some comfort for for a ruff day. Marcellos** My Husband and I went for our date night. We sat in the bar area, bigger than what we thought. Our waitress was Michelle. She was super friendly, helpful, and had a sense of humor. We ordered what she suggested and it was amazing. My husband ordered chicken parm. It was delicious. I always feel like I am trying to season my food eating out, this required no extra anything. I ordered the chicken piccata. It was spot on. So good. We each ordered a a wine flight. Tastes great. My husband ordered a cannoli and it was authentic, fresh and made the old way. Seriously love this place. All around a great place. Give it a try. read more

I went here for my 2 year anniversary a few days ago, and I wish I would have went else where. I don't mind spending a pretty penny when food is good. They used to give you breadsticks as soon as you say down, not you have to pay $7 for them. They were out of cherry syrup for my initial drink I ordered. I got the Fettuccine Chicken Alfredo and was not impressed with the the chicken or sauce. The chicken was bland and chewy. The sauce tasted like it had 2 ingredients.. I spent $75 for two entrees, two sodas, and one appetizer. The good about this place-- service was quick, waitress was great, and food portions were big. read more

Today A my friend and I had lunch and I tried something new for me. I had the ravioli di limone and baklava for dessert. I couldn't finish my lunch and brought the rest home for my husband. Now you have to understand this is the pickiest eater in the world... LOL. I didn't expect him to like it. He just finished and said to me "that was one of, if not the best thing I think I've ever eaten". Now this is a man who has traveled the world, ate just about every cultures food, yet he found this simple ravioli dish in Wasilla, Alaska to be one of if not the best he's ever eaten. That's a pretty good review any day of the week. Try this restaurant, my understanding is they have a new staff different from the people that used to work at the old restaurant in this location. Had to wonder how good a place can really be when you pull up at 6 pm on Thursday night and there's only one other car out front. Was seated in a confortable booth with a pleasant smile and waters right away. The decor was straight out of a fine restaurant somewhere in Tuscany. The menus were very nice. Heavy with elegent designs and a recessed logo. Lots of options but not so many that it was overwhelming and impossible to decide. I went with a personal pizza (you know me ) at $12.95 and my date had the Piccolinos house calzone at $12.95. Both were VERY good. I didn't have to ask, I knew they had a wood fired oven hiding in the back there somewhere. By far the absolutely best pizza I have found in Alaska (sorry Moosestooth). The calzone was over stuffed and the meatballs were juicy and flavorful. By the time we left (hour and a half) only 2 other couples had come in. I still can't figure out why there was no one there. The food is top notch, the wait staff (very attractive women) were attentive and cheerful, and the bill was extremely reasonable for what you get. Maybe it Thursday is just their slow day. I highly recommend this place and plan on going back next Thursday. Just to see if it picks up. read more

Out of 5 desserts i have tries, 2 were drowned in honey, 1 wasn't what it was said to be, and the other 2 just were not good. As for the food, very inconsistent in quality. I plan to stop giving second, third, and 4th chances. But the waiters/waitresses are always so sweet and well informed. read more

I will never understand why you can't get a good regular restaurant in Wasilla. Havent been here in 8 years. The service was great and breadsticks are awesome. I think it should just be a pizza place I had pizza from there like 3-4 years ago it was good. My kid ordered ravioli and there were only 3 on the plate seriously???? A 2 year old will eat that Marina sauce has really good flavor but is really really salty. My kid couldn't eat it. Order a chicken dish like Marsala or picatta or Greek and its on a separate dish and there's so much sauce you'd think it was a soup ridiculous. And served with pasta with red sauce which doesn't belong with chicken Marsala, picatta, or Greek chicken with like a teaspoon of sauce which doesn't matter cause the marina is so salty. $18-$26 an entree later jarred sauce and noodles and maybe a chicken breast would have been $60 cheaper read more

I'll never eat there again. It is still Piccolino's same menu same food , Service was good, but the food was not fine dinning for sure, it's ok for pizza but that's it. Paid $90 for two appetizers and two main dishes. The shrimp was old and the spaghetti tasted like they poured wine over it and that was it for flavor. My first visit was with a group of gals last Saturday. I had the crispy chicken salad and it was delicious and filling. One of the girls had the panko chicken sandwich. It was huge. She said it was very good. Others dishes sampled were the gyro and a caesar salad. We all enjoyed our meals. The waitstaff was attentive which is something I look for.
