We thought we'd missed our chance for a fast but delicious meal when we passed through Wasilla. My wife found this spot and boy am I glad we stopped! Everything we ordered was top notch. The chicken and waffles (with bacon syrup), the pepperoni pizza, and the (incredible) crispy salmon tacos. The service was super nice, and attentive. They got us in and out quickly and even brought a few goodies (homemade root beer and a brownie), just to be kind. Our server mentioned the chef owner spent decades as an Exec chef at high end spots. You could see it in the food. I was pretty shocked to feed my whole family of 5 for $50! Hope we get this lucky a few more times on this trip! read more

Cadillac Cafe - Breakfast veggie calzone!!! - Pizza Near Me - Wasilla, Alaska

Waitress said I can't afford to eat there while she's working as a waitress instead of getting a real job, waiting for around 15 minutes, and nobody's taking our order. People sat after us, and they already got in their order, when they give you the menus They just throw them at you, same with your food, same with your drinks. So it's your first time coming here. Prepare yourself to be treated like a dickhead (got kicked out. After 30 minutes of waiting for our order to be taken and telling the waiter that it took her long enough to take our order, she told us to get out. I got out and threw the menus on the ground, so she wanted to arrest me for that and started grabbing me) read more

I frequently ordered from this establishment in the past. While their burgers varied in quality, their pizzas were consistently good. Their proximity to my workplace made it convenient for me. However, my recent experience picking up an order from them was disappointing. read more

Fantastic family friendly place with incredible pizza been eating here for 20 years. Recommend to all our friends.

Cute place! I love that it is quiet and simple, seems like a very family oriented place. The staff was great, very sweet and quick. The food is very good and also priced well! I got the Roma Calzone and Hot Turkey Club Sandwich. Both were great, the sandwich is really a good size! Husband got the Hatcher Pass Burger and Carne Asada Steak Tacos. He said that the burger was great, but that they aren't a taco place and that the tacos were okay. read more

Tourist here - we asked chatgpt for food recommendations and they recommended this place and said this: "super popular local favorite with comfort food, pizza, chowder, and homemade-style meals. More casual but widely loved." Let me tell you!!!! We were underwhelmed when we saw it from the outside but the inside is really cute and the food was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! I got the crispy salmon tacos and they were unreal. We also loved the étouffée! read more

Cadillac Cafe - Crispy Salmon Tacos - Pizza Near Me - Wasilla, Alaska

Great time with friends, a girls' day out. The food was very good. We were a little cramped at tables.

Food was great Very affordable pricing and service was pleasant a Change for the Wasilla attitude

A return visit after 7 years for lunch. My Son, Grandson and I stopped here on our way back from Fairbanks. It was great then and it hasn't changed. Everything is made in the restaurant and they have a brick oven open stove for Pizza, Calzone, Bread and other baking. It has 7 four place booths so at lunch and peak dinner times you may wait for a booth. It is worth the wait! My wife and I came here for lunch now that we live close by. As you travel the Parks Hwy it is outside of Wasilla main are located at the end of an Express Fuel station. Same building and has a sign on top corner of the building. I had a bowl of the house made Salmon Seafood Chowder with a homemade roll. The soup was made with a creamy base with pieces of red salmon, scallops and shrimp. I could detect pieces of red pepper also with fresh green spices. It was favorable and creamy. Next we shared an order of BBQ Beef Brisket, Mac & Cheese and Coleslaw and unsweetened Tea. The brisket was large and cooked to perfection. Juicy, tender, soaked in a tangy BBQ sauce with a very little fat. You could pull it apart with your fork. The Mac & Cheese was creamy in a tasty cheese sauce. The coleslaw was flavored with a coleslaw dressing that was slightly tangy but good. Today is National PI or Pie Day so we shared a large piece of Blueberry and Apple Pie with Vanilla Ice Cream warmed up. The pie had a crumble crust that was sweet and delicious. The pie filling was blueberries and apple slices that we cooked just right and delicious. The scoop of ice cream moderately offset the sweetness of the berry filling. The service was excellent and efficient. They have parking available but you will think your parking in the gas station. They have a pizza oven which bakes their pizzas, bread, rolls. The bake their own pies which are great. They have a limited craft beer tap and wine. read more

Have been coming here for a few years and finally time for a review. The food is always on point. Great burgers, salmon tacos, and broccoli. Those are just a few of my favorites. The servers are great, super friendly and always hustling. Danielle rocks as I always chat with her and just learned her name. Don't forget to check out the baked goods either. One piece of their fresh baked pie can easily be shared. The pizza is really good too straight from the wood fire! Yes, it's attached to the gas station. I assure you it's great small town atmosphere and excellent service is worth a try. You won't regret it. read more

We have never been here and decided to try it for lunch. A lot smaller than I was expecting and parking was interesting. Service was friendly, the calzone was huge and good, the burger was also very good. The Cole slaw was amazing. The danish we got for dessert was not good at all. Could have done without that. Will try the pies next time. read more

Let's just say this cool little place has the BOMB of Beef Brisket! Perfect taste not over sauced with BBQ. I got the sandwich with fries, my honey got the plate with Mac and Cheese Mmmm. We were in Wasilla getting our dog groomed for the dog show and us having a light breakfast we're starving! Judy found this place on Yelp and so okay let's go! They told us they make all their breads and doughs from scratch in house. It's got a little 'Divey' feel with cracks in the booth seats lol, but so glad we found this gem in Wasilla. It adjoins a gas station and that made me do a double take. Reviews were so good we had to try it! They have cold beer on tap (wine too) and we got a couple of the Kenai Brewery's blondes. We knew it was going to be a drive back to Anchorage, so we got a pizza to go the Cajun Reindeer Sausage with extra cheese. It was tasty and unique in that it had cheddar cheese on it giving it a taste bite you didn't expect! There were so many folks stopping by picking up their takeout too making this a hot spot of gastronomy! This is a go to the next time we're in Wasilla, Beer & Brisket! The food is excellent Soooooo Go! read more

One of the better food places past Anchorage, and all the way to Fairbanks. They have flavor with a country like hospitality. Alaskan made

Had the bbq beef brisket and Mac. Tender and flavorful and Mac and cheese was good too. Toped it off with Peach cobbler and was not a disappointment either. It was really busy but worth the wait read more

Is there a nice turn-of-phrase for "Not hidden gem"? Because that's exactly what this is. I have driven by this place dozens of times, and not even realized it was there. It's attached to a gas station, on the outskirts of Wasilla. I've been driving through this part of Alaska, so many times, hungry...and lamenting there was nowhere good to eat. Boy howdy, was I ignorant! When I finally found this place on Yelp, I was STILL skeptical. Why? It looks like they have no specialty, like they do "a little bit of everything". In my experience this usually means "we do everything A-OK but we don't do anything at a high level of excellence". Boy howdy, was I wrong! I cautiously ordered the brisket and mac & cheese. I respected that they explained that this brisket was oven-cooked and didn't try to pretend like it was some ancient Texas recipe like so many others do. It was INCREDIBLE. It was moist and tender, in that way brisket is supposed to be, but rarely is (so much of the brisket I have had I would describe as "wet beef jerky") The mac n cheese also hit it out of the park. (although this is a MUCH easier dish to get right, wouldn't you agree?) I can't wait to come back and try something else! I should also note that they had local beers on tap and they were CHEAP for Alaska. ($5.50/pint) read more

This is a hidden treasure in Alaska! The food is amazing! Mango salsa fish tacos are superb!

Their veggie burrito is one of the best I've had! It was a great size for price, very flavorful and filling. I recommend call in for take out and giving yourself about 15-20 minutes to pick up. Kind, down to earth staff. Minimal parking and indoor dinning. Cheers! read more

For being a restaurant attached to a gas station this is a really pleasant surprise. You have one waitress running the show and doing a great job. The food is also pretty nice. My husband says it's the best chicken fried steak he's ever had. I'm going to agree. They do a nice job here. The food portions are big, the prices are reasonable and I think even on the low side. Atmosphere is homely. You could take your kids here and keep them entertained with the toys and books they have around. All in all a great place to eat. read more

Fresh, friendly, and delicious. We went here for dinner and ordered burger, fried chicken sandwich, calzone and Jax n cheese. Everything was cooked to order, hot, and so good. We topped it off with apple, peach and blueberry pie fresh out the oven. Soooo worth it. Don't miss out on this roadside gem! A nice little family owned cafe. Also the prices are so good especially when looking at all you get. read more

This little restaurant on the side of a convenience store at a gas station is just a culinary delight. Everything we ordered was made in house by a chef with over 32 years experience. Our server was so pleasant and proud of being part of this little gem. The locals who stopped in were like family. This is definitely a restaurant you don't want to miss. read more

Homemade pizza and bread dough! Pizza oven. Two small pizzas and a hamburger were perfect! The fries were handcut and just right. Small place with a big menu. Waitress and the pizza maker were friendly, and the service was attentive but not nosy. We really felt welcome and appreciated. read more

Cadillac Cafe is our go to for breakfast every weekend! Only on weekends do they do breakfast and they make chicken fried steak. It's so good and such a great price. We drove out of Hatcher Pass on the willow side and were super hungry. I saw the menu for Cadillac Cafe and was super excited to get here and have a calzone. Unfortunately when I sat down and ordered my calzone the gal let me know those take 40 minutes to make. There was no way I could wait 40 minutes after waiting close to 40 minutes from when I found the restaurants menu back near Willow. I was super bummed! I ended up getting a cheese burger which is pretty okay with some fries that had no salt on them? My partner for the club sandwich which actually looked really amazing. If we end up here again that is what I would get. Very friendly service. There is a couple of parking options if you're coming through with an RV or trailer. Location is easy enough to pull off the highway and back on. Easier to navigate then some of the restaurants in "downtown Wasilla" read more

Easily the best salads in the area, with a Cobb salad that will last for days and a spinach salad with more flavor than I've had in anything in Alaska. That's tough though because their calzones are fabulous and their sandwiches are out of this world. I tend to buy a couple of things and take them home and split them up and eat for days. read more

The cook is very good at making his foods he used to be a five star chef. the breakfast at that restaurant is just but a little expensive for what you're getting. besides that the luncheon dinner meals are amazing and the pizza is made homemade by hand every day from scratch all his meals are amazing. The ambience is kind of cool but it's a small restaurant. It's kind of a hole in the wall, but if you're looking for a really good food at a decent price that you can afford this restaurant is the way to go. The space at this restaurant is small, but the food is amazing. It's worth trying. read more

We were just driving from Denali to anchorage and just looked up places to eat since we hadn't seen anything in hours. This places reviews were spot on. When we drove up we were worried as it is attached to a gas station...however, it did not disappoint. The food was freshly prepared, the service was impeccable, and the rates were cheap. The portions were huge and they didn't skimp at all on the ingredients. Danielle was our server and she was so hospitable, kind and attentive. I definitely recommend this location! read more

I don't even want to share this review, if your lucky you will stumble upon it. I do not want to wait in lines after you taste this culinary genius, hidden in Meadow Lakes.... His food is excellent & he makes all the brew pubs & wanna be's absolute. His halibut has more & is handmade for 1/2 the price.. His salmon chowder divine, everyone else serves seafood slop. Dine in Wasilla & get touristed or drive 5 miles & get culinary excellence. Haven't tried the pizza... didn't need to, I was had when I walked thru the door. read more

So there I was in deep Wasilla, looking for beer and maybe some food. My half drunk buddy suggested we eat here. I said "where"? At the gas station bro. So we stepping out of the red dragon and into Narnia. A small place with home made pies, killer pizza, and a menu that made me moist, well the beer I spilt on my leg made me moist. Long story short, the food was out of bounds delicious, the service was amazing, and the beer was cold. read more

Don't underestimate this place, extensive menu at great prices. Plus the food is great.

This place doesn't seem like much from the outside. In fact, you could easily pass it and not even think there is a restaurant here. As saying goes, "Never judge a book by its cover". Cadillac cafe definitely delivers in the whole "wow and yum" factor. I've DoorDashed several times from this amazing cafe; I absolutely love the poutine and the seafood fettuccine is scrumptious. Finally stopped in to order pizza's on my way home and it was incredible like everything else I've had here. The chicken bacon ranch pizza was ridiculously tasty and the caveman pizza was perfect! The front door was in an odd spot of the building but who cares!? Food is crazy good here! The staff is very welcoming and sweet! Great service and attentive to details on ensuring everything is smooth sailing. Cadillac cafe is definitely our go-to for great quality food, reasonable prices, and a very unique selection of menu items to please any and everyone. read more

I've been coming here for years and the food has always been great, and service on point. I really want to give huge praise to they're integrity and honesty and the extra effort they put in to keep the customer happy. Love that I live near this place. The best thing on the menu is their crispy salmon tacos. Three for $10. That's a better deal than fast food, and it's way higher quality. The tempura fried salmon is amazing and there's plenty of it. The sesame sweet soy sauce and sriracha flavors go with it perfectly. Their pizza is very good here too. I especially love their seasoned crust. read more
