Plenty of parking. Plenty of seating. One trip to the salad bar: $8.50 Unlimited trips: $14.50 Very tasty pizza. Large around $23 Cozy atmosphere. Friendly ladies on the serve. Everything was going tremendously. Until the phone rang at the same time a couple walked in. On her way to tell the boss that business was picking up, the server stopped to answer the phone. In an attempt to help her, the new customers grab their own menus. Upon seeing this the small man in charge tells the woman off in front of the entire restaurant. When I called him out, he cowered and blamed her anxiety disorder. If true, it still wouldn't justify correcting her in front of all the patrons or even the need to yell at the woman in the first place! Customers at two other tables agreed with me, he was out of line. I don't know if he is the owner or just a chef/manager, I do know there is better pizza in Wasilla. It also comes with more dignity. I'm a huge proponent of choosing and eating local. Larson's is a locally owned Pizza restaurant tucked away in Wasilla. This service is great and the pizza is good. They offer a salad bar which is clean, well attended, and fresh. The restaurant itself is a bit cluttered but clean. It's worth a try. read more

First time customer here. Their customer service was friendly, from phone order to the delivery driver. The sauce has good flavor but the "thick" crust wasn't thick and it was overcooked. Don't think I'll be ordering again. read more

My favorite is the French Dip Sandwich (Prime Rib), to die for. Sandwich was made on homemade bread, thinly sliced prime rib, home made au jus, choice of chips, potato salad or fries. I'm a big eater, and I had to get a to-go container, BIG meal! Staff is awesome, didn't smother me like a lot of places do, but very attentive. Not a huge dining area, but very relaxing. They have a 7 mile delivery limit, and I live 6.7 miles away, highly recommended on my behalf. Highly recommend eating at the restaurant or delivery, you won't be disappointed. I have been trying to try this place for awhile and finally went. This has the feel of a solid pizza joint. The service was great and the owner was more than accommodating for my absurd order. It did take a little while for my pizza to come but I had them put on a disturbing amount of cheese so I knew it was going to take awhile. The owner even came out and took the time to talk to me. The pizza was cooked perfectly, something hard to do with an absurd amount of cheese. The taste was off the hook. I'm a fat guy and I love my pizza. This has got to be my top 5 spots replacing some tried and true pizza spots (RIP). I will be going back and will for sure recommend this. read more

Super friendly, obviously busy on a Sat night, but we were still able to pick up a pizza within 35 mins in the 9:00 hour. Ordered build your own with a few meats and veggies and garlic butter sauce instead of the typical red. Would definitely order again. BETTER than the Moose Tooth!! The Larson Pizza Joint took over the Asian buffet. I was pretty skeptical because I'm no pizza fan & they are still in works for remodeling etc. my family started with the cheesy bread. It was a homemade bread topped cheese and a side of pizza sauce. My husband ordered the High Hawaiian; I stole a bite because it looked and smelled delicious! To my surprise it was downright the best pizza I have had in a long time. My bruschetta chicken penne was made with homemade Alfredo sauce served with their homemade garlic bread! I was amazed! My kiddo had their spaghetti with added sausage; she enjoyed it. Also their menu had lots to choose from at a decent price. If you love pizza and homemade food come to this place! We will see you there. read more

I really like this place. There isn't a lot of options (even for pizza) in Wasilla so when Larsons opened we gave them a shot and we haven't stopped ordering since. They're very friendly, and very receptive to special requests and suggestions. Their pizzas are creative and delicious! I especially love the Cajun steak, and recently the Hawaiian pizza on cauliflower crust. Their basic pepperoni that we get for our kids is a solid choice as well! We haven't dined in yet but I'm curious to try their salad bar because I've heard it's really good! Support local and give them a shot! read more

If you order hot wings, ask for the hotter ones. The owner makes it themselves, with a focus on flavor that is so good. Best wings in the valley, bar none. Cheese curds and cheesy bread were top notch. Our pizzas were so good. Try the Smurfy one, you won't regret it. read more

Very friendly staff and owner. Pizza crust was light and airy with great flavor. Had the Blue Buffalo Chicken pizza on thick crust. It was great. Next time we would ask for some extra Buffalo ranch sauce. Also had the salad bar which was filled with a variety of fresh veggies. Looking forward to checking out their other pizzas, plus they have a variety of sandwiches, salads, and appetizers too. Check this new Valley spot out! read more

Decided to try out Larson's pizza- Called in an order for a cheese and pepperoni with some wings. They said it was only a 40 minute wait. Showed up to pick up the pizza, paid right away and left a nice tip. They said our pizzas were 10 minutes out.. we waited for an hour and 45 minutes. They gave us the pizzas and said it was going to be another 30 minutes for the wings... we had to leave and the cashier couldn't figure out how to give us a refund on the credit card. So- they got a nice tip out of us and they still owe us an order of wings.. I don't think will be back. read more

Larson's has quickly become our go to. We got there 8 minutes before closing, and even though we had a large order, they said no problem, as long as we didn't mind taking it home. Since all the chairs were already up, and they were mopping the floors, we told them we ABSOLUTELY didn't mind. Dwayne chatted with the hubby for a few, before going to make our food, while Amber helped me get our order in. They said it would probably be 20 minutes, and if we didn't mind the wait, they would even bring to our truck. They were as good as their word, and brought a full box out to our truck. We didn't even make it into the house, before we broke into the box. Have I mentioned that their food is AMAZING?!?! Even though it was right before closing, and they had to stay late, they didn't short on portions, amounts or quality. We ended up eating most of our dinner in the truck. It was fantastic!!!! It may be just a small restaurant, but don't let that stop you. There's plenty of seating and the food is MORE than worth it! Enjoy!!!! read more

Stopped in for a slice but the one slice left was in question by the staff up front. They didn't feel very confident that it was fresh enough and that it had been sitting out too long. The boss, maybe the owner, wasn't very happy about the whole thing and seemed pissed off that I only wanted a slice. He did say he'd make a fresh pie for slices if I'd wait, that was nice but I would order a pizza if I wanted to wait. I didn't dine so I can't speak to the atmosphere. read more

Highy recommend. We ordered take out- take was busy. Don't let it fool you that there were only a few cars in the lot. My mom picked it up, so I personally don't know what the parking, ambiance, or handicapped access was like. !! I ordered lasagna, and it was amazing!!!!! Side note it is made with Italian sausage, which has beef and pork. My mom wanted the lasagna, too, but is allergic to pork. The top cheese was a little crusty, just the way i like it. It had great flavor and was a large nice piece . I could have eaten half now and saved half for the next day. I would just ask for more sauce on it next time. My other family members ordered spaghetti. They said it was very good. It was a good amount, too. My mom ended up having to get a salad. At the salad bar. She said the salad bar was adequate and fresh. The only thing i didn't like was the bread that came with our meal. I really love GARLIC bread. The bread was not that good it was tough and had no flavor, no garlic. That would NOT stop me from ordering food from here again.:-)))) read more

This place hit the spot on our way back to our place following a day in Denali. It was late (15 min before closing) and the owner welcomed us, encouraged us to sit down while we waited for our pizzas, and to stay and eat. We enjoyed visiting with him while we waited and he made our pizzas plus all of the pick orders. The pizzas were delicious! We got the carnivore, Buffalo chicken, and bulgogi - all so good!!! The crust was crisp on the bottom and fluffy inside, the homemade tomato sauce was delicious, and the toppings were fresh and unique. The homemade ranch sauce was also excellent along with the homemade garlic bread. We're so grateful we ended up here - you will be too! read more

Food- is great. I won't belabor this since I would say the same thing as the other reviews. Salad bar..amazing. Pizza slices hot and very good. The lunch special is the way to go. Salad bar and 2 slices. Granted your kind of at the mercy of what pizza is there but if your not picky it's fast and fresh. Service -was great. Honestly I can't be a judge because we were the only table. Our server was friendly but didn't loiter which I like. Ambiance - work in progress for sure. This is our second time coming out to eat here-same server as last time and again food and service did not disappoint! The pizza is good but the atmosphere is awful. Some customers asked a family to have their kid turn his iPad down. The family refused and the manager (I'm guessing manager, he's super tiny as described in another review) apologized to this family about being asked to turn their iPad down. read more

Nicely stocked salad bar, very fresh and satisfying. The pizza was delicious! We got he carnivore and it was loaded with quality meats. There is some renovations going on but did not interfere with the dining experience. The owner was our waiter and he was delightful. I would definitely recommend this place. read more

I've been here quite a few times as this turns out to be my one of my family's favorite spots ( I was having lunch with my son and mother, then my older brother walks in, so family lunch together.) My favorite has to be the pioneer sandwich! Its big enough for 2 to split so you can save room for their soup! I had a few different ones since I moved here to big lake, and each soup special is better then the next, I enjoyed the lemon/chicken/orzo/spinach soup yesterday... and im still thinking about it today... After all this food, since it was so light and fresh, i didn't even need a nap after. And with the breakfast sandwich's, burritos, & wonderful coffee in Wasilla! This place is becoming a needed daily experience. Your staff makes the experience of waiting like a vulture for a table so delightful. They are all doing such a great job for your business. It's a great place to stop for your morning coffee and also to get breakfast or lunch! The staff is super friendly and the service is very fast! We got the breakfast burrito and the avocado grilled cheese. Both were so cheesy and super yummy! I wish the grilled cheese had a sausage or turkey option instead of just bacon as it would make it 10x better! (I'm not a fan of pork meat) but even with it, it was delicious! I live right down the street so I'll definitely be coming back to try other things on the menu!

I strongly recommend thier deluxe burritos. -I always get the shredded beef but understand other meats are just as good. You really have to think about your meal, every detail is fresh and put together well. The rice falls apart but isn't stiff, the salsa bar has wonderful variety and they never look at me odd when I keep piling more on. The service is and has always been very friendly, super fast, and they keep the restaurant so clean that I always avoid leaving spills or crumbs just as a small thank you. To the owner: Your staff makes this place the most reliably wonderful experience I have known in the valley. Thank you!
