When my veal arrived, it looked totally not what I was expecting. The menu says veal scallopini lightly breaded and fried. Scallopini is a thing cut of meat. What I got was 2 ground veal patties (like hamburger) covered in sauce and topped with cheese. I started to eat it and immediately safe that this was not veal cutlet (scallopini) and ground veal. For the price I was paying, I was not going to accept this so I sent the dish back. Marylou was so nice about it and took care of me without a problem. She was kind of surprised about the dish as well. She gave me reasons why it was served the way it was but I will not share them here. If the menu says Scallopini (cutlet) then that is what should be served. Don't change it up on the customer hoping to pass it off as a Veal Parmigiana dish. Maybe being from NY I have a different expectation about this but I don't think that is the case here. I ordered the lasagna instead which was ok. Again, our service was great and the food was good as well except for my dish and this is why I am giving them 3 stars, which I rarely give.
