The red sauce tasted home made (?).....not cloyingly sweet, more on the savory side. The pepperoni pizza arrived piping hot and just how (in my opinion) a pizza pie should be made: loaded with mozzarella, topped with just-right amounts of thin pepperoni slices (crispy on the edges). The pie crust was airy and light, just a hint of sweet. Ended the meal by having a lovely conversation with the owner, Mike, who saw us sipping on Pepsis and promptly brought us over a sample of their signature, locally-made root beer.....made with real sassafras and HONEY.
