Cuban sandwich which was fine. Fish tacos which were tasteless.

Food took forever to be served. And it was so very bland! Tasted like nothing. What a waste of calories. I would not recommend trying this restaurant. Bloody Mary was good, the only redeeming value.

We had a great time here. The food and drinks were great. I hate to say this, but everyone in my party felt as though the server was rude and kind of grouchy. My dairy intolerance wasnt taken seriously as I asked for no butter on the bun but it was served on both parts of the bun. They offered to remake the sandwich but I felt bad so I just had them replace the bun. Unfortunately the view is of a parking lot but you can hear the live music next door from the winery.

Food was good and service was attentive. Had the walleye grilled it was good. Nice area. Cute store in front area with lots of nice things. Bar attached as well. Coleslaw is sweet fyi. You get discount with cash! Seafood bisque was good.

The service and the ambience are just fine. In fact, I would say the service was even above Fine perhaps four stars. That said the drinks, at least mine, and the food were not. My seafoam, margarita, or whatever it was called, was just way too salty! The salt stayed in my mouth for sometime even after having a great lakes IPA. For the food, the perch and my perch tacos were good but the flour tortillas were somewhat stale. My wife ordered the small serving of spaghetti with meat sauce. Either the meat sauce was extremely watery or the pasta was not properly drained before adding the sauce. My wife also said it needed additional seasoning. It was an interesting stop, and I'm glad we did; however, I doubt we'll be back.

Good perch entree. I loved the duck wings too! Quick friendly service in a casual atmosphere.

Fried lake perch and a buffalo chicken flat bread. Not bad for the middle of nowhere! The fish was perfectly cooked and quite delicious.

Driving around Marblehead, pre-season and during the pandemic, we were excited to find anything open. Marblehead Galley's patio was welcoming us as we drove by, so we popped in for a quick lunch. All of the staff were wearing masks so we felt perfectly at ease wearing them as well. I'll be honest we're not quite used to this new reality yet, but that's for a different conversation! When you're this close to the lake, and you have the opportunity to have fish caught nearby, you really should. I ordered the fried lake perch, and it did not disappoint. In fact, it was some of the better perch I've had in recent memory, and while I can't imagine we'll be back in the area any time soon, I will gladly stop by again and order some more when I do.

Mediterranean Wrap - no avocado at all. Service slow and frustrated.

Service very slow - one very tired and annoyed server in the entire place. Food was just ok, I got a Mediterranean wrap with chicken and about 4 out of 6 ingredients were in it, for sure no avocado as listed on the menu, I kept looking and hoping it would turn up.

I don't usually left 1 star review but I had the worst restaurant food ever. So over cooked, no flavor, sauce and dressing were horrible.

I think this restaurant is much better when you eat there. I like the live music on the back porch.

The deep fried cake donuts are so famous someone local made a song about them! I've always had friendly service when I've come here no matter how busy they get. Our server had virtually no customer service skills and very monotonous personality. After taking our order and bringing out our food, she rarely returned to our table. We couldn't get a simple refill on our waters, despite having thirsty kids with us. She never checked in to see if we needed anything, never offered refills, and didn't even stop by to ask if we wanted to-go boxes. Throughout most of our meal, she was sitting at another table chatting instead of attending to her customers. By the end of our visit, we learned it was her mother and grandparents, who apparently visit the restaurant often. While there's nothing wrong with greeting family, it shouldn't come at the expense of every other table. Listening to conversations about coworkers and schoolwork while waiting for basic service was frustrating. We ended up leaving shortly after food arrived so we could find somewhere else to get water for our kids. There was also guests sitting behind us, making comments on the speed of our children eating because they wanted our table. It's unfortunate because this was our first visit to the area, and the poor service left a lasting negative impression. I hope management addresses this, as attentive service is a big part of the dining experience And their reputation will tank at this server's inability to provide quality service.

We had come for the perch dinner and they were out. We then ordered our drinks and a couple appetizers, they were also out of the first two appetizers we picked. The waitress apologized and told us to call ahead before we come next time because they run out of a lot of things! So she put our drink order in and after awhile came back and told us she was sorry but the bartender must have lost our order or something. We did finally get our drinks, but not until after our appetizers. My husband got the grouper sandwich and said it was good. I got the perch sandwich and the perch had no flavor at all and there was only a dab of tarter, about the size of a nickle! I've gotten better perch sandwiches at the drive thru! The waitress was kind and apologetic, but food was very disappointing! We ordered 2 sandwiches, two drinks, two appetizers and split their key lime tart )they call it pie, it is not pie). Our bill was $124. for the two of us. Really can't recommend.

The prices are good and most of us ate the perch sandwich which was delicious and coated in a tasty breading. The doors were open and the outside patio featured tables and a firepit which was lit. On weekends there are musicians playing. Recommend this restaurant for great food and service. Lynda

Very disappointing…read more We have a cottage on the islands and yesterday we had some time available before our ferry so we stopped in to take advantage of their early happy hour (3-6) as we've been there before and enjoyed it. Not this time. It was about two minutes to 3 when we sat at the bar (nobody else at the bar but us) and asked for a menu. The bartender (male) gave us dinner menus so we asked could we please have the lunch menus. He looked at his watch and said "I guess so" and gave them to us. We then asked for the happy hour menu and again, he looked at his watch , decided it was ok, then gave them to us. Not an awesome start but no biggie. We ordered the happy hour calamari, and for lunch I had the perch sandwich with chips and wife got the luncheon steak filet. First the good news. Service was good, food came out quickly and my wife said her steak (while a bit pricey at $35 for a small filet) was excellent as were the green beans that came with it. Now the bad. The calamari was severely over-fried and basically tasteless. My wife asked me "do you taste anything?" and candidly, I didn't. Just the dipping sauce. My perch was equally flavorless, all I tasted was bread. Same goes for the 1/2 baked potato that came with the steak. That looked and tasted exactly like a microwaved potato someone sprinkled a bit of shredded cheese on. Very, very bland. And the homemade chips that came with the perch were the saltiest things ever salted. I couldn't eat them at all, had about three (they looked great) and realized my sodium level would spike off the charts if I ate any more. With two drinks (a happy hour beer & Tito's) the bill with tip was $100 and we couldn't taste the calamari, the perch or the potato and couldn't eat the chips. Insert "not great Bob" animated gif.
