O my goodness! The food was delicious. The owner is local and just wants to serve people who love food and downing out. The service was top notch and the owner gave me a sample of her home made marmalade jam. Delicious and definitely down home country cooking at its best. The ambiance was that of country (at home) cooking. Definitely go and try it. We love sitting outside (weather permitting) and talking to the locals. read more

Cute spot in a great location! It was great to see all women in the front & back of the house. Food was good! We had the chorizo omelette & a waffle. The chorizo omelette was the best I've had in a long time. The waffle was perfectly cooked I would have liked a few berries or something on top but it was tasty still. We were looking for a pleasant place for breakfast as we drove through Ohio. well, this might have been out of the way but it was well worth it. Nice outdoor seating. We both ordered breakfast. This is a wonderful little café. My daughter (5) and I were on a girl's roadtrip and we decided to come up here to see the lighthouse. I drove by this place on the way. We were hanging out at the lighthouse when she decided she wanted to have lunch by the water. Five year olds have great ideas. We drove back to the café, picked up takeout, and sat by the lake. Service was super friendly and sweet, and we thoroughly enjoyed our food. This is just one of the little friendly neighborhood spots that I would frequent if I lived in the area. This is such a lovely little restaurant. And they truly have the *best* eggs Benedict on the peninsula! The staff is always friendly, you can eat inside or outside or you can get pick up 'to go'. We ate at latitude with our three kids they were fantastic the wait service was very friendly, attentive, and made our experience an ease. We were staying in a motel up the street and wanted a to get breakfast/lunch with kids and a dog. The staff was super friendly and accommodating even got our did a bowl of water. The food was fabulous, really tasted like home cooking. The salad was fresh, the cinnamon roll tasted homemade, the fries were off the hook. This is a must try when visiting Marblehead! Sunday around 11 am was about a 20 min wait for two. Not bad. Got seated and the staff was so friendly. Great coffee and great food. The bacon is delicious!!! We loved it so much we had to come back again before our trip ended and it was much quieter on Friday morning. Got seated right away. Stopped in for breakfast, was pretty busy. Our waitress greeted us promptly and said to sit wherever there was an open table. There was a party of eight people sitting next to us who were extremely loud and boisterous, the buildings acoustics seemed to magnify the noise, so we asked if we can move to a table outside which our waitress kindly assisted us. Breakfast food was great, served quickly considering how busy they were, and our waitress was pleasant and attentive checking in on us. She apologized for the noise from the loud group and Meade sure we were comfortable. We will visit again as our waitress was so kind. read more

This spot has a long tradition of food service to the Marblehead/Lakeside community, starting (for me) with Kukai's--an old-time, way laid back old eatery where the old guys around town would gather early in the morning, slugging down coffee and telling fish takes. Then it got an upgrade into the fashionable Avery's, which introduced really good food, and celebrated the town with a monthly group dinner and special nightly events. Then the beautiful and effervescent Rochelle took over the restaurant and named it the Latitude Cafe--just as Covid emerged in early 2020. Undaunted, and ably assisted by her cheerful kids and staff, she's redefined casual breakfasts and lunches in her own era with intensely good food just the way you want it, enhanced by her own culinary innovations. Try the chorizo omelette or burrito, or the Latitude Trash, or the perch sandwich--well, everything is terrific! You can't go wrong here. read more
