We ordered the spinach omelette and a smothered biscuits and gravy. Both were really good. The gravy needed a little more pepper, but was tasty. The. Schutte were cooked nicely. Eggs dine to request. The spinach omelette had a lot of spinach and provolone cheese! The rye toast had too much butter, but that was the only downside. Diana was kind enough to share the menu from their neighboring Ala carte After hours that opens for dinner. I appreciate that the receipt had a cash pay price and credit card price ! First: the waitress needs to work on welcoming the public; it was a cool reception, and honestly if we had another place nearby, would have gone there. Second: the food is meh. Breakfast sandwiches seem to be pretty-made and warmed up; they don't even toast the bagels which were not quite room temp. If you're desperate check this place out. Next time we visit K.I. we'll just plan ahead and bring our own breakfast.

This is an old-fashioned side of the road ice cream stand that has whatever you could dream of - hard ice cream and soft serve and so many food items from hotdogs to walking tacos to shredded chicken sandwiches to fried mushrooms and so much more. I personally am a soft serve girl and there are very few flavor combinations in this world that I love more than peanut butter and chocolate. On this my most recent trip this summer, I had the Nutter Butter sundae. The Nutter Butter sundae is Chocolate ice cream topped with peanut butter fluff, peanuts, whipped cream, a cherry and a Nutter Butter cookie. I'm sure you can tell by the description that this was a sugar overload, but delicious. I also got a pup cup for my pup, which is a small bit of vanilla ice cream with a dog treat on top. The ice cream was delicious and we had really good service my only gripe is the prices are a bit high. I paid $2.50 for a dog cup of ice cream - I just remember when that used to be like $.50 but I guess that's inflation for you. Overall, this is a great place with good ice cream and a nostalgic feel.
