I absolutely loved this restaurant! From our walk into the place we were greeted by such friendly staff and treated with kindness and warmth. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and clean. If you are considering visiting Pasquales....definitely DO! We popped in yesterday for breakfast and were so glad that we did. From the minute we walked in, throughout the entire meal, we felt valued as customers. We were warmly greeted, even though they were very, very busy. Our server, Keegan, was a delight. He was engaging, attentive and really understood the meaning of customer service. Both meals we ordered were delicious and cooked perfectly. All the other meals passing by that we didn't chose also looked great! Every employee here was smiling, friendly and a perfect example of what we should all expect from service at a restaurant. The food was delicious, but had the most incredibly rude food runner. I ordered the hot mess and you get to choose if you want biscuits or toast with it. Someone else at my table ordered it with toast. When she brought out two with toast, I told her I ordered biscuits. She set it down in front of me and walked away-nothing else was said. A couple minutes pass and I told the hostess who walked by. She said "well I'm sure she's getting your biscuits" and walked away. Our waitress came eventually and I told her and she quickly brought them out but the rest of the food was cold. A man at the table next to us had the EXACT same problem but never got the biscuits. Don't go by the hours posted here or on their website. So it was my birthday. We came to put n bay since Cancun was out of my reach. I researched everything from masks to opening/closing to make sure we would be able to do 1 of my fav things. Eat good food, not junk. We were here for 5 days and despite what their website said they were not open 3 of 5 days. I wanted to take a star away for this cause it's my birthday and Im allowed to be selfish 1 time of year. This was it. Covid days so what can you do? Its a 4 star island spot. When its open Made it for 1 breakfast. Small spot so you wait for table outside maybe 15 minutes. It's worth it. Very good breakfast. Wish I could have got it on my birthday like planned. OK I'm over it. Almost. Pancakes sausage, omelet has browns for him. They don't advertise it much but they do have mimosas. They came premixed, not like prior folks pics. Mimosas were OK. Nothing like Frosty next door. Go there for absolutely fab brunch drinks. Service was slow(june) but as I understand they were short staffed. We both came with our patience. First time here and we only stopped because everything seems to be closed this time of year, but they were serving breakfast. There were 8 of us and we were seated quickly and brought our drinks. The menu has a nice variety of breakfast choices. I chose the eggs Benedict because it's my favorite. Huge mistake! Probably the worst I have ever had. First, the English muffin wasn't toasted, just warmed. Second, it was not Canadian bacon, but some kind of ham. Third, it was not a poached egg, but almost hard boiled. Lastly, lumpy hollandaise sauce with no flavor. Besides that, the hash browns were barely cooked. People that got the omelet liked them, so I made a mistake ordering what I did. After a night of live music and avoiding over-indulging, I could not resist 'the hot mess' which is all the great things about a savory breakfast combined in a plate. This was a great place for breakfast! It's set up kind of weird. You order and then go sit and they bring the food to you. But the food was delicious. I ordered an egg sandwich, the Mac Daddy, that was amazing. It had chipotle ketchup on it and I've never had that before but it was tangy and delicious. My boyfriend ordered the breakfast burrito that he enjoyed. You also get tater tots with the sandwich and the burrito had tater tots inside. There's tons of on street parking in front. We went on a Weds and it wasn't super busy and the wait for the food really wasn't bad. The customer service was pretty great too. read more

Atmosphere- located on one of the main streets on PIB, the restaurant feels comfortable. With floor to ceiling windows, the restaurant is bright and decorated nicely. There are roughly 15-20 four tops. Service - we were part of a group of 8 and as soon as we entered the restaurant the staff scrambled to arrange tables to accommodate us. We were greeted warmly and our server was attentive. Food - we there for breakfast and I ordered a ham and cheese omelet. It was served hot and was excellent! The side was hash browns, which were pretty good too. The coffee was just OK Value - considering this is a tourist town, the price was extremely reasonable. Overall, I considered the value to be very good. I spoke to a resident of PIB later in the day who said that the restaurant is her favorite for breakfast. read more

Stopped in for a snack around lunchtime this past summer. Tried the Twisted Calamari: as expected, they were fried squid bits served with a side of Chipotle Ranch. I suppose the ranch was the "twisted" part, or perhaps they are referring to the legs being twisty, or maybe both. Not sure. My date tried the Roasted Cauliflower and Quinoa Burger. She enjoyed it. I thought it was a great vegetarian addition to the menu, but the taste did nothing to excite me. Our server was prompt and friendly and I would gladly return to try some of their other fare. We dropped in here to this quaint eatery, ready for some pasta or pizza or something Italian. Well, they didn't have pasta, but they had pizza, and subs, prepared like Italian entrees. I think I had the chicken parmesan sub, which is served with delicious waffle-fries. My sister had the Pasquale's chicken sub, which she enjoyed. We never got to get any pizza from there, but it looked good sitting on others' tables, piled with cheese. The chicken sort of tasted metallic, for some reason, in my sandwich. I couldn't tell if that was because it was so hot, or because of the way it was prepared. The fries are great. They offer take out service there as well, but the hours are not the same all the year long through. They're open daily from June through August at the same time (7am-10pm), but then on limited open-hours in April, May, September, and October (which makes me wonder about the rest of the months. Coming from California, I'm not used to closed businesses during snow months). Great little place to go, and I'll probably get the pizza next time I do. read more

Surprisingly decent little Italian joint on Put-in-Bay. It was so stereotypical with the red and white checkered tablecloths that I couldn't help but laugh at it. We had a large party but we were all seated almost right away on a very busy Saturday night. I was excited to sit right in front of the big window. There were at least 10 people that walked by that started conversations with me through the glass. One guy was grabbing his junk. Even my mom thought it was funny. Then his "fiancee" walked by and pointed at her engagement ring and gave us dirty looks. That was the highlight of my evening. Okay, back to the review. Most of us ordered pizza and was pretty darn good. Perfect crust, perfect amount of toppings. I was pleasantly surprised as I thought it was going to be terrible. The sauce was the only thing I wasn't satisfied with. It was too acidic. If you ever find yourself stranded on PIB, stop in Pasquale's. Our service was excellent, we were seating right away on a Saturday night and the food was reasonably priced. Average cost of wine was $18 per bottle or $5 per glass and beer runs about $3.75. We stopped in this place on a Saturday afternoon (around 3) for a late lunch. There were three adults and one child in our party. Our service was just ok, she did her job and that was about it. We ordered a variety of food from the menu. A pizza, salad, sandwich, chicken dish, and a kids meal. The salad and the kids meal were the only two meals that were descent. The server forgot about the kids meal and it had it be made "on the fly." As for the other meals, the fries that came with them were cold, sandwich was nothing like what was ordered. This is definitely still the best breakfast on the island! I run past Pasquales every morning and smell the delicious breakfast foods and was definitely craving French Toast all week. My partner and I headed over Friday morning and were so excited to satisfy our breakfast desires. The service was quick and pleasant. The food was delicious. The price was great. We stick to our previously held belief that this is the best breakfast on the island. So glad they open early too! The renovation, which is a few years old, looks great. It's so clean and cute.
