What a fun place on a cold winter day before Christmas! The burger was excellent, service great and decorations festive!

Great service. Food was ok. It was smothered/drowning in sauce. Would have loved more fries.

We stopped here while on a weekend getaway and loved it. The outside bar had a great vibe to it so we sat there and had some drinks. Our bartender Jen was fantastic. She's really the reason we loved the place so much. I started out with my usual vodka and cranberry but then she recommended the raspberry vodka with cranberry. It was really good! We decided to grab some food while we were there. I ordered the burger with cheese and fries. The burger was good and the fries were very good. They were fresh cut. Our waitress was great as well she gave us really good service. I can't recall her name but she was going to school to be a nurse and was very sweet. If you're in the area give this place a try! I highly recommend it.

Great place with multiple outdoor patios and a stunning view at sunset by the lake. Burgers will not disappoint. I had the mushroom swiss which was juicy and decadent, my friend had the hickory smoked BBQ burger. I'm not a fan of BBQ sauce but this burger was very well made, they did not overload it with BBQ sauce and only accentuated the flavor of the burger. Both burgers came with seasoned batter fries for a very filling meal. With 2 beers, cost came to $41, definitely worth it! They warned us that the food would take an hour as the place was packed but everything arrived in less than 30 minutes. Taking away a star because I am not a fan of paper plates or beer in a plastic cup. Definitely recommend this place if you're in the area!

Looking for something that's a bit hidden but still manages to deliver what's good sure you are as you really can't go wrong with something of that nature as hidden gems are never enough to be found! One given day some friends and I were just driving around killing time enjoying all the amazing views of that gigantic lake when we found Rayz it was purely by mistake or was it as this given night was like a Wednesday or something and I'm like why is this place cracking midweek so a few minutes later with use of some website called Yelp that I'm sure none of you ever heard of before I had my answer! My answer was the specials here mostly burgers at a super good price for a special that usually comes with fries or onion rings so how can you really not be into that! Every time I've been here my food as been awesome as the burgers have tasted fresh and just yummy so you know that will bring you back no matter what as they all have been simple but that's all that was really needed as it just worked! Those onion rings are the kicker beer battered so you know they are good as well as huge in their own circular way of fried goodness definitely some of the better ones I've had for sometime! The fried pepper jack ballz were also yummy too as who doesn't like fried cheese in every way possible! The fried pickles were alright not my favorite but definitely still good in their own pickle way either way you fry it! Overall awesome specials super cool little spot right on the lake just be prepared to be here for a minute as it gets super busy as you can tell it's the locals spot Forshures I'm sure I'll be back here soon as it's just what's good any given day of the week!

This place was fun! Lots of locals. You literally walk in through the back bar lol! It's traditional fried food, but was great! It has a nice view and the staff were friendly and Accommodating .

Took a drive with no agenda in mind. When we stumbled upon this place. It's kind of out of the way so we decided to give it a try. It's a bar with typical bar atmosphere. They have a small patio on the front and a second bar and outside seating next to the main building. We sat outside and watched the Ohio State game. It was nice. Dogs are allowed as well. They also have a 3nd story balcony which is self serve, but what a view the bay!! Our waiter was amazing we stayed longer than we planned because he was welcoming and very attentive. He said he's leaving for the army soon, hopefully we'll make it back to say goodbye. We both had the perch basket and it was delicious!!! Definitely a place to try

Nice place right on the bay . Great in the summer.

Great food options. Service was very good, besides the fact that I opened the place. Decor is very nice; modern but inviting.

We had come for the perch dinner and they were out. We then ordered our drinks and a couple appetizers, they were also out of the first two appetizers we picked. The waitress apologized and told us to call ahead before we come next time because they run out of a lot of things! So she put our drink order in and after awhile came back and told us she was sorry but the bartender must have lost our order or something. We did finally get our drinks, but not until after our appetizers. My husband got the grouper sandwich and said it was good. I got the perch sandwich and the perch had no flavor at all and there was only a dab of tarter, about the size of a nickle! I've gotten better perch sandwiches at the drive thru! The waitress was kind and apologetic, but food was very disappointing! We ordered 2 sandwiches, two drinks, two appetizers and split their key lime tart )they call it pie, it is not pie). Our bill was $124. for the two of us. Really can't recommend.

The prices are good and most of us ate the perch sandwich which was delicious and coated in a tasty breading. The doors were open and the outside patio featured tables and a firepit which was lit. On weekends there are musicians playing. Recommend this restaurant for great food and service. Lynda

It was a smaller store front, cozy and a hidden gem! The restaurant has so much personality, with years of awards proudly displayed throughout the dining room. Before the food even arrived, we knew we had found somewhere special. We started with the Bistro Onion Soup and the Red Pepper Lobster Bisque. French onion soup and lobster bisque are two of my all-time favorites, so my expectations were high. The Bistro Onion Soup absolutely delivered--rich, flavorful broth, perfectly tender onions, and an incredible blanket of melted cheese. Easily one of the best onion soups I've ever had. The Red Pepper Lobster Bisque was equally memorable. The sweetness of the roasted red peppers paired beautifully with the lobster, creating a unique twist that really worked. My husband and older son both ordered the Momma Mia. A spaghetti sandwich? We were intrigued! My son gave it a 9/10 and said it tasted like a lasagna sandwich. He'd order it again without hesitation. My youngest chose Ziggy the Piggy and declared it "the best sandwich I've ever had." That's high praise from a 10-year-old! He gave it a perfect 10/10, and the sandwich was nearly as big as his head. Honestly, reading the menu made us want to come back just to try everything else. Every item sounded delicious. What made the experience even better was the staff. They were warm, welcoming, and genuinely seemed to love what they do. That kind of hospitality is hard to fake, and it made us feel right at home. If you're passing through--or even if you're not--Zuppaman is absolutely worth the stop. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in town.

Not this time. It was about two minutes to 3 when we sat at the bar (nobody else at the bar but us) and asked for a menu. The bartender (male) gave us dinner menus so we asked could we please have the lunch menus. He looked at his watch and said "I guess so" and gave them to us. We then asked for the happy hour menu and again, he looked at his watch , decided it was ok, then gave them to us. Not an awesome start but no biggie. We ordered the happy hour calamari, and for lunch I had the perch sandwich with chips and wife got the luncheon steak filet. First the good news. Service was good, food came out quickly and my wife said her steak (while a bit pricey at $35 for a small filet) was excellent as were the green beans that came with it. Now the bad. The calamari was severely over-fried and basically tasteless. My wife asked me "do you taste anything?" and candidly, I didn't. Just the dipping sauce. My perch was equally flavorless, all I tasted was bread. Same goes for the 1/2 baked potato that came with the steak. That looked and tasted exactly like a microwaved potato someone sprinkled a bit of shredded cheese on. Very, very bland. And the homemade chips that came with the perch were the saltiest things ever salted. I couldn't eat them at all, had about three (they looked great) and realized my sodium level would spike off the charts if I ate any more. With two drinks (a happy hour beer & Tito's) the bill with tip was $100 and we couldn't taste the calamari, the perch or the potato and couldn't eat the chips. Insert "not great Bob" animated gif.
