Food was fine just not great. Basic bar food don't expect the world or anything. Could have been better but was ok.

A nice little restaurant on the corner in downtown Kelly's island. I got the Mediterranean platter it was really tasty! The grape leaves were exceptionally good. The Tzatziki sauce was amazing.! The homemade chips were good too as was the potato salad. Middle the road price point. Service was great from the bartender! Keno is available for those who love to play.

The Gyro salad is also amazing. In fact, I have never been disappointed in anything prepared here. The selection of baked goods is amazing. The wine selection is also outstanding. ( Now for the other side of the story). Going back to the time when I was born (in Ireland, but this story began in another part of Europe) In the 1950's outside of Athens, Greece when a family traveled from there to the United States in search of a better life. The mother found comfort in a foreign land while working as a baker, hand-making the recipes she brought with her. She passed these recipes on, with love. Another begins in the 1980's on the Italian island of Sardinia when a young man in the U.S. Navy, met a local girl & brought her back to the United States to raise their family. She keeps in touch with her family & her homeland by importing the food products she grew up loving. Their stories eventually intertwine through a marriage. They bring these tastes of the Mediterranean & tlove of these foods to our community on the north coast of Lake Erie. Join in the experience!

So I called to place an order for pickup, 2 with double meat for me and 1 regular. It doesn't even occur to me until I get home and look at the receipt I was ripped off. The woman on the phone or the guy who rang me up either one could have mentioned something but WHY WOULD I PAY MORE FOR JUST DOUBLE MEAT THAN AN ACTUAL GYRO!? For one the double meat used to be like $2 but why on earth would someone just want to pay more for double meat when they could just buy another one and clean out the wrap into the other!? Shady business practice for sure...

The vibe inside is super casual and approachable - don't be intimidated if you aren't used to international cuisine! We share the Around the World platter, which also came with lentil soup and an egg roll. All of the flavors were distinct from each other and were so obviously crafted with intention. It's also pretty good value. I can also see this place being really great for groups - lots of different options. We ended up getting the Around the World Platter (with Chicken). The menu description is: Perfectly designed and served dish contains meals from different countries around the world such as Filipino pancit, Vietnamese stir fry, Indian chicken curry, Nepalese potato curry, Lebanese hummus and tabouli, Arabian gulf mandi rice and chicken, and Jordanian lintel soup all in a special traditional plate. It was basically a little bit of everything. Some things I really loved how perfectly cooked the chicken mandi was and the biryani. Some of the stir fries started to taste the same a bit. Loved the pancit too. There's a vegetarian version as well BTW The space is super eclectic with lots of trinkets and tchotchkes and wall art - from newspaper clippings featuring CoF to photos!

Knew it was the same place as soon as we saw it. Walked in to a warm welcome. Sat in the back room this time. Front room was filled. Christina helped us. She was very informative and helped us decide what we wanted. Got 2 cups of the lemon chicken soup. I can't pronounce the Greek name so it's the lemon chicken soup. Outstanding lots of chicken, rice and carrots. Then we got the fancy Greek salad. It comes on a good size plate and covers the plate. The Greek dressing is homemade and delicious. Chunks of feta in it. Honestly could only eat half. The potato salad on it was good. All the ingredients fresh. Can't go wrong. Christina told us about the other menu items too. Everything is homemade and made with love. It's a family business with kids and relatives involved. We did get a baklava for dessert to split cuz well we had too. Prices are good. Better than on-line. Roomier than it looks. Greek decor with the pics. Great place! Eat here! Homemade Greek food by a Greek family! What else can you ask for! Delicious! Just wish I lived closer. We will be back when in the area again!
