Stopped here for lunch over the weekend. I really enjoyed what we ordered. I got the Greek Chicken Bowl and my spouse got the Brahma Chicken Bowl. They came out as grilled chicken, rice, naan, and then each one had their own respective sauces that you mix into it (so the same base but different sauces). The chicken was tender and juicy, basmati rice was perfect, and the naan complemented it really well. The flavors were excellent, I think we both enjoyed the Brahma chicken bowl the best though. The space is unique with high ceilings and lots of nice natural light in the seating area. You order at the counter and they bring it out to you. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant was clean. The amount of food you get is a good value. We will definitely stop here again when in Chelsea. read more

Welcome to the neighborhood! It's great to have another option in our small town and oh what an addition! Fresh, made to order fare with a Lebanese flare. I'm especially excited for the breakfast burrito menu that we will try tomorrow morning, on our way to work. It will be great to have a nice quick breakfast stop on my trek. Wednesday dinner, I ordered the 'build your own' dinner with: falafel, naan/pita, caprese as a side, and toum for sauce. Toum is the traditional whipped garlic sauce. It has that sharp fresh garlic bite that will ward off vampires and even the most amorous spouse. Worth it! I had to order an extra side to make equal parts falafel and toum. Hubs had the chicken dinner with pita, hummus, rice and ordered a small sweet Michigan salad. The salad comes w a sweet cherry vingarette dressing. It was an excellent choice. Fresh greens, almond slices, cucumber slices and cherry tomatoes (minus the Gorgonzola). The chicken dinner comes on top of the pita, covered in the Brahma sauce. It was good but hard to eat the hummus w the pita as it's already covered w in sauce and meat. We'll know how to order next time. The caprese is different than the pesto caprese. Be clear when you order. If you don't want pita/naan, they have tortillas available too. Now for the cherry on top. Black cherry. The black cherry fountain soda. Oh yeah. Puck's naturally-flavored soda fountain. I've never heard of Puck's soda before but this fountain just might tip the scales for us when deciding when to go for dinner. Birch soda is like root beer but isn't completely appropriate to say root beer. Birch, cola, lemonade, black cherry, orange, and cream. They pack every order to go, or stay to eat in the small dining room. I hope they find alternative containers for dine in, as the containers have to be costly. They are very nice. Brahma Haus is super affordable for the quality. I hope they stick around. read more

Someone in the other reviews said the hummus was too lemony but I disagree. The Brahma sauce was slightly spicy which I loved. The chicken was well cooked and I appreciated the fact the rice wasn't too dry. However, it was quite a heavy and rich bowl. It could have benefited from tzatziki or some freshness. I stopped on a mid-afternoon for a quick late lunch between appointments. I decided to try Brahma Haus because I needed to sit down and review papers. I had a couple of menu questions for the counter attendant; I had to keep asking her to repeat her answers because the roaring fans drowned her voice. My Brahma Shawarma sandwich arrived in reasonable time. It was stuffed with plenty of well-seasoned chicken. Too bad no flatware arrived with it, because most of the filling was dry little balls of chicken, apparently pre-cooked and reheated on grill, that spilled out no matter how I tried to pick up sandwich. Sauce and pickles flavors were fine but the amount was too skimpy for the generous pile of chicken that needed more moisture. It arrived wrapped in foil on a paper-lined tray, so no plate to deconstruct it. It was acceptable, not great, and is NOT FINGER FOOD. I had to eat like a 2-year-old. I might go again and try some other items when I feel adventurous because Chelsea has few choices for non-bar customers who don't like chain joints. read more

Brahma Haus is an escape from the ordinary if you are looking for a quick take out meal. My family was tired of pizza and decided to give Brahma a try. We have diverse needs as my wife is a vegetarian. My son and I split the Brahma chicken meal and were very happy with our choice. The chicken was grilled nicely and was very juicy. The naan and red sauce that came with the chicken were excellent! My wife had the falafel sandwich and gave it two thumbs up. Fresh veg and well cooked falafel. On top of the great food, the service and price have always been good every time we've been back. I have eaten here twice - both times the food was really good. Today I had the Brahma chicken that came with sides of nan, rice, and humus and I asked if I could swap out the rice for tabouli and she said "No substitution". So I had them hold the rice and purchased a side of tabouli. Just kind of annoying. Food here is very good and fresh. Things to improve - #1 Mom working the cash register who is the face of your business and interface between your business and customers may not be who you want in that role. She has messed up more order both times and is scatterbrained. Get someone efficient, organized and who can passionately speak to the menu and drive the perception of your business. She isn't adding to/improving the customer experience. I would probably find something better to stream on tv's than music videos. Something a little more peaceful relaxing and more background music(volume) to make it more relaxing. You have a good culinary fit/unmet need in Chelsea - take it to the next level and make the experience great on top of the great food. read more

Folks in town had told me how great this place was, so I was very disappointed. The restaurant is largely sandwiches and salads interpreted through an international lens. "International" in this case means an odd mix of falafel, tacos, gyros and such. Service wise, this place has one of those set ups where you order your food and pick it up at a window when they shout your name in the loud speaker. Then you bus your own table. I don't mind that kind of service, if it means the prices are lower due to lower service costs. Prices are standard here. I had the "crazy gyro". I'm not sure what was crazy about. Seemed like a fairly standard gyro, except the meet is pre-cut and heated on a flat top, as opposed to sliced in the traditional fashion. My wife had the Haus club, which looked better than my gyro, but still was redolent of greasy spoon flat top cooking. It's telling that of four adults there for dinner, none of us finished the food. My guess is this place does most of their business in take out. They certainly prioritize service to the take out orders more than the people in line. Most disappointing to me, my little boy wanted an ice cream at the end of the meal. They carry high quality ice cream (and soda), so I said yes. Standing right at the counter, in full view of everyone working at the restaurant, no one acknowledged us for the 7.5 minutes I stood there. I get they were busy, and the restaurant only has two people working for it. But it take little effort to make eye contact and say "be with you as soon as I can". So, in short, I learned not to trust some work acquaintances on what they think a good dining experience is. read more

We've only done take out or delivery but everything has been hot each time. The fries are really good! My husband forgot to order them one time and it did cause a fight The sizes are on the smaller size but still filling. Their sandwiches are uniquely amazing and they have the BEST fries in the Midwest! A great go to for some quick and tasty eats. My favorite are the Brahma Sandwich with Bacon, and the Chorizo and Chicken (also add bacon).. pretty much everything is better with bacon, but that's my life motto. Also like the Puck's machine, normally a Coke kinda guy, but Puck's is a fun change up! Also the fries are great, the perfect balance between a shoe string & steak fry. They are having really great specials so I went in twice this week since the burgers have gotten such great reviews. I'm hooked on their Brahma chicken dinner and have never tried anything else. Well... who can turn down a great deal do Wednesday I had their classic burger and tonight a friend and I had the bacon cheddar burger. We loved the bacon cheddar one but both are excellent. I am so excited that we have this new eatery in Chelsea! The food is fast, fresh, and amazing! So many flavorful combinations and everyone in my family finds a favorite. The Brahma Chicken is my personal favorite. The chicken is grilled to perfection and the sauce has just enough heat. The hummus is creamy and flavorful and pairs well with the soft, chewy Naan bread. The rice has a good flavor as well and tempers the heat of the Brahma Sauce on the chicken. As with any new business, there is always room for improvement. Order accuracy is coming along but needs a second check for take out. I'd like to see actual dishes and flatware for eat in dining and table service in the future. One of e disappointment! Tried this for the first time recently and was thripwith the menu. I got the Brahma Bowl, with a side of falafel (which was a good size for a single one) and a side of the chicpea salad. The food, spices, and sauces were so flavorful and the chicken was tender and flavorful. My only displeasure was the food is served in Styrofoam with so many places becoming more conscious of the impact, I hope to see this place move toward more affordable and sustainable containers or thier food. read more

We ordered dinner to go from Brahma Haus a few weekends ago. The food here was amazing! The gentleman on the phone was very friendly and the food was ready really fast. We ordered the Brahma Sandwich (my favorite! So good), Naan Falafel (also excellent), basmati rice and tandoori fired naan bread. This was our first visit and we were very pleased. While other restauranteurs are getting rid of it, and using compostable containers, you're serving it for in-house eating and takeout and throwing it away in the garbage????
