Would you believe me if I said I waited 10 years for this wrap/sandwich!!!?!?!? I moved away from East/Lansing and recently returned. I ate here often and sadly took it for granted. Every single time I ordered a cauliflower or falafel wrap somewhere else, I expected the same quality ingredients as Aladdin's and unfortunately I have been disappointed every.single.time because nothing compares to here! My cauliflower is perfectly cooked with the floret browned to bring out the natural sweetness while retaining the crunchy bite I'd expect out of cauliflower. The pita is fresh and holds up to the packed ingredients inside. The lettuce and tomato are always crisp and never floppy or dull. The absolute icing on the cake is the picked turnips!! I assumed everyone had this special ingredient but I don't often find it and if when I do it's nothing like Aladdin's. I can't believe I waited this long to indulge myself in one of my absolute favorites!!! The other best part is they are small business owners that are very open to modifications and new ideas for options which is always awesome in this age where if you don't have an online or mobile order you're rushed through a transaction. If you want local, fresh, quality ingredients.....then this is your place!! read more

Aladdin's Restaurant - Cauliflower Sandwich - Mediterranean Near Me - Lansing, Michigan

Food was good. Worthy of three stars. The main reason I am giving it a two star is I am unfortunately want to sau is cleanliness. From the moment I opened the dirty glass door to the messy dirty floor I just can't get myself to go back there. Friendly owner and service was good. But it really needs to be cleaned up. read more

Wanted to try a different Mediterranean restaurant. This is in a shopping plaza in Frandor. Food was good but not as good as other Mediterranean we had had in the area. They do offer a great deal on a lunch buffet though if you are in the area. Service was very good, friendly and fast. read more

Plenty of parking and the owner was so friendly!! When you first walk in, you will notice the beautiful mural on the wall. It's of Jerusalem and Beirut (I asked the owner). It's hand painted and very detailed!! We ordered the Chicken Schwarma wrap (about $7) and the Falafel wrap with fries. Both were delicious!! I loved the garlic sauce in the Chicken Schwarma, mmm mm!! The fries were so flavorful and not too salty. And before we left, we got the pistachio baklava and it was very good and the owner was so generous!! We definitely will come back when we are in the area next. read more

Great food! Great people! So pleased that they have a buffet now!! Try Aladdin's you will not be disappointed

Run don't walk! They have Dubai chocolate!!!! To die for. Amazing. The restaurant is humble and a bit of a hole in the wall. The customer service was excellent. We had to switch from dune in to take out due to our own timing mistake, and they accommodated our need to switch. I tried the eggplant with chicken (10/10). It came with hummus and naan. Delicious. We also ordered some garlic sauce, which was divine. I tried a piece of my friend's sausage, and it was a bit too unfamiliar with the spice combo for me to enjoy, but it was made well. My husband loved his chicken dish too. read more

Went here for the first time and the food was amazing! I had the grilled chicken with rice and veggies and my husband had the salad with chicken. It came with hummus, pita bread, and a salad. The server was very nice and attentive. Highly recommend and can't wait to try the buffet next time! read more

Great food, low prices, and very friendly staff. A must try to anybody who likes Mediterranean cuisine.

The best and delicious, had a good experience not only once I've already been there several times. Love the food and great service.

Best takeout food I've ever had in my life and all it was was grilled chicken and rice. So amazing

This place is tucked away in the Frandor shopping area. Not very big and easy to miss unless you're looking for such a place. The inside is very clean. The flooring and walls are a little busy, but the decor is very common, with photos and hand painted murals of home. Music helps give the feeling you're about to eat some authentic Middle Eastern food. I ended up grabbing a sampler platter because I wanted to try as much as I could. Everything was pretty good. There wasn't a thing on my plate I wouldn't order again. Shawarma, Kabobs, Kafta, and grape leaves served on a bed of rice. No way I was skipping out on garlic sauce. My sampler also came with a salad. As usual, I ordered more than I could eat. The serving sizes didn't help though, definitely enough to feed the two of us. When I was there , the owner pretty much did it all. Takes your order, plates the food, brings it out, and rings you up. Not to mention the steady flow of people coming into this place on a Monday at almost 8pm! Obviously, I'm not the only person who enjoys the food here. The price for our meal was about what I expected. If you ballpark it, it was about $20 a person. You'd pay that at any decent restaurant with good food. There are cheaper options like wraps, but I wanted the full Monty. If there was one thing that I really had to dig for, that I thought could be improved, it was the shawarma. It really looked good, but was honestly not as flavorful as I hoped. The only thing I missed out on was a fresh fruit smoothie, but I had to save something for next time..... and there WILL be a next time. read more

Terrific food. Cauliflower soup and green bean stew are fabulous; the egg plant sandwich grilled on inside and grilled on outside is outstanding. All food delish! read more

This is mine and my family's go-to for shawarma, falafel, kabob and fattoush and it never lets us down. So consistent, so we'll priced so delicious. The owner knows me and is so kind and generous. They do great for take out or dine in. I forgot about their hummus and the cauliflower. Honestly all is so good so just try it. I live in seattle now and honestly used to bring back bags of their pita with me because I couldn't find it in seattle. read more

I want to start off by saying the food was absolutely amazing. I've had plenty of middle eastern eats around the Lansing/East Lansing area and this was by far my favorite. Everything was amazing from the rice to the salad to the lamb and the pita and hummus. Just absolutely amazing. The service was great as-well. I ordered through door dash but called ahead just to ask about some things and I got all the info I needed and more. It was just fire! Definitely give this place a try and I promise you will love it. Impeccable ambience. read more

Aladdin's Restaurant - Falafel Salad - Mediterranean Near Me - Lansing, Michigan

This is my first time at Aladdin's, and they did not disappoint. Just remember you part for what you get. The cheaper sandwich (wrap) options are not the biggest yet still filling. For two people we got 3 wraps and a side of hummus. We were very full! Speaking of hummus, it was very nutty and not citrusy at all. It is more creamy than most hummus we've tried. The falafel sandwich was cooked very nicely and seasoned well. The grape leave sandwich was also nice. The only suggestion I have is to call ahead if you'd like to take food to-go as it does take a while to get fresh food together. read more

The food here was great and the staff was so kind. We found the restaurant on a fairly quiet night, but even so, I saw at least two orders for pick up getting picked up, so perhaps they were busier for carry-out that night. In addition to restaurant food, they also carry a few grocery items worth checking out (wafers!) We ordered the lamb, chicken, and beef kabob platters, hummus (which came with plenty of pita bread) as the sides for each of the platters and fries, the lentil soup and a side salad for the second side offered with each platter. Oh, and an order of the falafel. All of this was under $50 before tip and tax, which was an excellent amount of food for the money because we had leftovers and not because the food was not delicious, it was! The meat was juicy and tender. I really enjoyed the rice served... pilaf? It was fun to chew, if that doesn't sound too weird. The hummus portion was generous as well. I liked how the falafel were not overly greasy, certainly made fresh and the lentil soup was mighty tasty because I hadn't had it anywhere before. It was warm, with soft rice in it and lentils of course. This is a great option if in the area! read more

Have always been a fan of their food and it was no different when I went there for lunch. The service was nice, friendly, and solid as it has been in the past. The restaurant was clean and always a pleasant atmosphere when I've been in to eat. In short, great job all the way around! Keep it up! read more

Absolutely love Aladdin's. Everything is so fresh and tasty. They have a full menu of Middle-eastern dishes, sandwiches and fresh juices with lots of choices to mix and match. Of course, there is also a large array of wonderful pastries. If you love middle-eastern food, this is the best. read more

We were hesitant to come in at first because while I love spicy food, my husband can't handle black pepper! We asked about the level of spice in the food which made our concerns known right away! The wait staff was amazing in explaining and making sure that whatever my husband tried, it was not spicy. They even served us two different hummus' for the same price in order to satisfy our two very different palettes. They also brought a sample of the Chicken Shwarma out for my husband to try before we made our order. I had a very hard time choosing a dish because there was so much I wanted to try! The waitress charged me for a combo and let me choose what went into it! Impeccable customer service!!! I had the Burgul, vegetarian grape leaves, and one Kibbee. The grape leaves had a surprising flavor to them. It's like having spinach leaves with a lemony tang filled with rice. I know, it doesn't sound too appetizing. I didn't care for it. The Burgul has a strong tomato flavor but it is filling and I enjoyed it very much. The Kibbee made me "mmmmmm." It's chickpee, spinach, and onion wrapped in mashed potato and fried golden brown. Very good!! My husband enjoyed the chicken Shwarma and rice dish. He said the rice was cooked to perfection. The chicken was spiced beautifully and not spicy at all! This dish was very good as well. The hummus is honestly the creamiest hummus we've ever had the pleasure to enjoy. Lastly the rice pudding is made in house and is insane!! It has a pure vanilla taste and the rose water kicks it off!! The best I've ever had bar none!! This restaurant is definitely an unexpected gem and a must try!! read more

I've eaten all over the world and this was one of my favorite meals! Bonus points to the girl working front of house for being really cute!

So I drive for Uber Eats and I have to give a huge shout-out to this place. The young lady working the counter was super friendly and courteous. Someone before me canceled their order after it had already been cooked. The nice lady gave it to me for free. It was the first time I ever had food from here and I have to say it was delicious. So go and have the chicken meshwi platter it is fantastic! Or better yet, order it on Uber Eats and maybe I'll deliver it to your door! read more
