Ordered takeout Pizza while traveling through. It was about 2 miles from our hotel. Anyway, as soon as I placed my order I was surprised it said it would be ready in just 15 minutes? Ordered a large supreme pizza and cheesy bread. Showed up and the place was very busy but food was ready, place looked really cool, old school building, very clean. I asked if I could have some paper plates because we were staying at a hotel, the staff totally hooked us up with plates, forks, napkins, red peppers flakes and Parmesan. Extremely friendly, pleasant and professional. Got back to the hotel with the Pizza and it was a hit with the family, crust was great, lots of cheese and toppings, the sauce was awesome. My in-laws seen someone carrying a box from a Marcos chain and everyone remarked they were so happy with Jim's pizza box because it was a huge upgrade compared to any chain restaurant. And it was pretty cheap considering how much food we got, we were happily eating cold pizza on the road all the way to Maine. If you're traveling through town, check this place out! We arrived at 7:00 on a Friday night expecting a wait, since the Yelp reviews are SO good. We were shocked to find the restaurant had hardly anyone inside. We stayed and are glad we did! The service was good, the pizza was absolutely delicious, and the homemade ranch was superb. The owner makes frequent rounds chatting with patrons, it's adorable, so small town and genuine. One word: HAPPY. This place was awesome! It's in the cutest little square of town. The place is a lot bigger on the inside and there was plenty of room to sit our party of 11 though the place was packed. Our server was so sweet! She was on it even though she was being pulled in a million directions. The menu is huge, I had a hard time deciding on what to get but in the end chose the eggplant Parmesan sandwich and I'm so glad I did. The eggplant was perfectly battered without getting lost in the cheese and sauce. It came with potato chips and a pickle. My daughter loved her pepperoni pizza and even did the "happy dance" while eating it. They had really good cocktails as well- I had the pink polka dot and if you're like me and don't care for the taste of alcohol, this one is for you! Beyond amazing food! We have been 4 times now over 8 months and are always happy. There are a lot of Italian restaurants in the area, but you won't find a better tasting pizza or calzone in Milan. The staff is very friendly and there's definitely a small town mom and pop feel to this joint. It's always a great stop when in the Milan area. read more

I think I'll begin by saying the service was fabulous. The staff seemed abundant, friendly and energetic. Next I'll say that the menu was extensive. So much more to offer than just pizza. We went there for pizza, so pizza is what you'll read about here. My expectation is that a really good pizza should take at least a half hour to bake. With that expectation, and the fact that we were pretty hungry, we ordered an appetizer first. The appetizers were expensive. For this first experience, though, we were willing to dump out our coin purses. The sauerkraut balls were at our table in less than 5 minutes. Not even a fancy presentation of the 8-10 pieces that cost $12.99, but they tasted fine. When she brought out the appetizer we ordered a medium deluxe pizza, which miraculously arrived before we even finished the appetizer-- so much for my expectations of cooking time! The pizza was just ok, it was a bit of a thin crust with the toppings going all the way to the edges. I sprinkled hot pepper flakes on my piece to give it some flavor. The dining room was clean with soft ambient lighting. There were TVs for watching and keno to play. There was a pretty nice looking bar in a nearby room but we didn't sit there. The space was family friendly with tables for large groups, and cozy booths for first dates. Customers of all ages were dining in and carrying out in the less than 40 minutes we were there. I'll finish by saying the place didn't live up to the hype. For two waters, an appetizer and medium pizza, we paid $32.01. We weren't stuffed, and there were no leftovers to take home. Jim's was on the list of restaurants that would deliver to our hotel. I was happy when I called and ordering was quick and easy. When our food was delivered one order was wrong (no bbq on one order of boneless bbq wings) we got an extra Caesar salad which I did not order and there were no condiments. The food was ok. We had the hot honey pepperoni pizza and it was unreal; honey will now be my go to pizza topping. We also had the taco supreme pizza and it was delicious!
