CUSTOMERS BEWARE ! Hi there, Joseph. I am the wife of Rod, whom you responded to regarding the concerns we had with our first experience with Sir Munchies in Huron. I appreciate your response, and I also would like to clarify a few things for the sake of transparency. This was our first time ordering, and will be our last. When placing our order with Breanne, our experience was excellent! Breanne was extremely nice and thorough throughout the entire process. We were excited to try a new local pizza shop that delivers to our area, as we frequent locals often and always have great experiences, spending lots of money throughout each year to support our local pizza shops. Breanne took our order with precision, to include our request of pizza sauce on the meatballs. She repeated our entire order back to us and I could tell she was smiling :-) . She couldn't have been nicer or more thorough. THANK YOU BREANNE! When we placed our order asking for pizza sauce on the meatballs, we expected to pay for the sauce and were never told you "added it as a courtesy" as you mentioned in your response to our review. Either way, your "courtesy" wasn't fulfilled. AND YOUR MENU STATES "6 OVEN BAKED MEATBALLS, TOPPED WITH YOUR CHOICE OF SAUCE.' Owners should know their own menu!! This was not a "courtesy", but rather a mistake. We understand you are short-staffed and training new employees, but ultimately that isn't our issue as paying customers. We were very patient while Breanne took our order and were also very patient awaiting our delivery. THANK YOU to your driver Christopher, whom was also as great as Breanne! When calling in about the missing sauce, I explained things to Breanne. I commented on how nice the pizza looked, letting her know we hadn't tried it yet, but were excited to enjoy it. She confirmed she did indeed place our request for pizza sauce on the meatballs, and that she was sorry that it was missing. She said she was going to see what she could do to address the issue. You Joseph, were very rude and disrespectful to me, upon answering my request to speak with you. You started our conversation by saying "Yah, this is the owner." You never provided your name, and only made excuses for why the sauce was forgotten. You stated your reasoning was "the sauce is free and you didn't pay for it." So I'm guessing because the sauce and cheese are something we didn't additionally pay for on our pizza, if that had been delivered with no sauce or cheese, we would be expected to just accept the way it was inaccurately delivered?? Your reasoning makes no sense, as this example makes no sense. I was not "confrontational" as you stated in your response, I was assertive, which I could tell you didn't like. There is a big difference between being "confrontational" and assertive. I declined your driver to come back out with the sauce, as I wouldn't expect Christopher to make a trip back for a side of sauce that was forgotten. I was being courteous and realistic about my expectations regarding your error. Making an additional trip didn't seem like a good business decision. My request for a $5.00 refund was a courtesy to your new business, as it would cost you more money, time, staffing, etc. to make another trip. We were not able to consume the meatballs with no sauce, as they were very dry. My intentions with my initial call to you and your team, was to simply inform you of your error so you would learn from your mistakes. Being a new business and still in the process of training, it makes sense that you would want this feedback. Evidently not. You can't fix something you don't know about. You stated in your response I "demanded" a $5.00 refund. You are correct, however I did not "demand" this, I assertively requested this. We were charged $5.00 for something that wasn't prepared or delivered as promised. Your attitude during our entire conversation was extremely disrespectful, rude and dismissive and this was all prior to you HANGING UP ON ME. When I called back to speak with you AFTER YOU HUNG UP ON ME, you refused to allow Breanne to transfer the call to you and asked her to tell me you would be refunding us the $5.00 we requested. As of this morning, that credit is not pending on my account. I have reached out to Visa and they will be contacting you with the expectation for these charges to be reversed. We did enjoy the pizza and thank you for making it correctly and delivering it on time. As you noted in your response to my husband, feedback is always welcome on our end as well - however, we are in hopes you learn throughout the process of being a new business owner, to respect your customers and take accountability for your errors when customers are contributing to what will make or break you as a new business. Pizza was , good?!?! BUT, the HURON one is terrible! We ordered the munchies balls (meatballs) as a app, and ordered it with pizza sauce, (which should be a no brainer) but came with NO sauce AT ALL !! Called to speak with someone in charge and supposedly talked to a "owner" and the idiot hung up on my wife AFTER saying his excuse, "I'm trying to train people". Terrible management! Huron spot is the only one I'm speaking about! No idea how the others, if there's any others, are operating but Huron is a joke! read more
