I had the bbq pork and beef calzone and it was absolutely delicious. The bbq flavor was well balanced with the cheese and the crust. The crust was seasoned so well I would've eaten it on its own like breadsticks. It was also thin and crispy, but not hard. It was easy to bite into. Highly recommend! Service was also amazing. My brother and I travel a good amount and every now and again we like to splooge and eat something other than fast food. Boy was this an excellent decision. So it's December 2017, and we pushed through the day on our Chicago return trip so that we could return to Milan, Ohio for our Jim's Pizza Box Extravaganza!!!!! Yes it is worth the effort and the adventure. We first discovered this quiet little town in June of 2016 on our way to Law School in Boston. Now with 1/2 ish of our school complete we find ourselves entrances with the Taco Supreme. The little Village Square that Dates back to the Revolution, and the mystic of this Humble Little Hamlet, off of I-80. It's worth the stop for sure. We will be back!!!! This is my second visit in the past 6 month. The 1st in latter July on our way to Boston from Alaska. Found it by chance. Then by chance we are on our way to Chicago and the roads and weather have us stopping in Sandusky, OH. If your by this way, you won't be disappointed, this is a quiet little burg, with a wonderful atmosphere, and a very rich and historic town square to stroll through after you eat the amazing food. read more

We were in town for a wedding and Jim's came recommended. We had the stuffed banana peppers and a taco supreme pizza. The peppers were fine but the pizza was excellent! Service was very friendly and laid back. The food and drinks came quickly. We will definitely return next time we are in town. read more

My heart regarding pizza will always be with Jim's. I grew up on it and it was always "the spot" to hang out after Edison football and basketball games. That's just what you did. You went to the game, and then everyone came to Jim's, ate, hung out, and then decided what mischief we were to get in. Just kidding mom! :) The edges of the pizza are crispy and the cheese is bountiful. My favorites are their pepperoni and mushroom pie, as well as their BLT pie. They never skimp on ingredients and the crust is the perfect thickness... not thin crust, but thinner than a commercial companies "hand tossed". (lower carb people, who can complain there?) Their garlic bread is fabulous as well and I could it all day if calories were blatantly disregarded. Every time I'm home, I'm sure to order their famous taco salad as well. I don't know what they do to it, but the meat is seasoned perfectly, the ranch tastes scratch made, and the taco sauce is tangy and melds well with the ranch. I wish they would open up a satellite location in Tampa. They'd give my favorite pie joints down here a run for their money, no question about it! Eat local, and if you're an out of towner (mainly tourists coming in for Cedar Point), definitely make this a pit stop. It's only a mile or two from the Ohio Turnpike in my small hometown of Milan, Ohio. read more

Based on the reviews I thought it would be better than it was. Sorry to say, from the moment the phone was picked up until after I ate it was not worth it. I called and the person answering the phone did not have a clue of the menu. I would ask a question and she would ask it to the person next to her. I wish she would have given him the phone. My sister and I laughed so hard after I hung up. Then she called back because she forgot to ask what type of salad dressing I wanted. She even had to ask what dressing they had, remember she called me. My order was wrong when I received it, the pizza was OK (I've had better) the wings were boneless and dry (I ordered tradition) the salad....well I should have went to McDonald's because it would have been better. I will not be back - sorry pizza is not rocket science. From what I understand it is secondary for them. read more

So this is some of the best pizza I have ever had and I live in an area in Colorado that has gourmet pizza of many types. AND INCREDIBLY WELL PRICED!! If you are in the area, consider yourself lucky and grab some grub!! We had deep dish w/fresh tomatoes, spinach, onion and mushrooms and it was fantastic!! I even called the owner, as we had delivery, and told him how amazing it was!! Never done that before. We had left overs and I am driving my damn leftovers to PA because it is that good!! Very tasty place in the middle of a historic town. The pizza had lots of cheese and lite sauce. The ores of garlic bread was a bit small but it came with a good amount of sauce on the side (save the sauce to add more to the pizza if desired). Well we ate was saw very caring employees who were really friendly. One customer picking up a to go order didn't feel well and the employe gave them the pizza, later after the customer left the employe paid for the pizza out of her own pocket.
