Where do I even start? Marbled & Fin delivered one of the most memorable dining experiences we've had in Charleston. So much so that we came back for brunch the very next morning before hitting the road back to Atlanta. Dinner started with the dressed oysters and I'm still thinking about them. Grape and caviar on an oyster? Absolute genius. Light, briny, luxurious - they set the tone perfectly. The milk bread that followed was pillowy and buttery, the kind you have to resist devouring before your entrée arrives. For mains, I had the salmon and my partner had the grouper. Both were phenomenal. The salmon was perfectly seared with a gorgeous crust and sat in a dreamy herb cream sauce dotted with roe. The grouper was equally impressive, plated with confidence and cooked beautifully. The creamed spinach on the side was rich and satisfying without being heavy. The Eat, Slay, Love cocktail was a spiced (not spicy!) surprise: warm, complex, and completely unique. Brunch the next day? Just as impressive. We doubled down on the dressed oysters because there was no way we were leaving without them again. He had the shaved ham Benedict and I had the fish sandwich. Both were excellent. This place is firing on all cylinders, morning and night. Already planning the next Charleston trip around a return visit.

Oh. My. Goodness. Marbled and Fin has secured a spot as one of my top CHS restaurants! A friend and I decided to treat ourselves to a girls dinner since she's out of state. Reservations were at 515 and we arrived about a half hour early. The hostess was an absolute doll. So sweet, personable, and helpful. She let us know they would seat us closer to our designated time but to help ourselves to a seat at the bar. Started with delicious cocktails with fun innuendos. Very strong. Lovely. The hostess came back later and escorted us to our seats - and the fun dinner service began. You receive a complimentary welcome cocktail table side - tonight was a peach gimlet. No notes! We decided to try a little of everything (thank you to our amazing waiter- he let us know serving sizes and suggesting splitting some appetizers). We had the scallops, Caesar and milk bread. I don't think there was a single morsel left on those plates. For dinner we had the wet aged ribeye with the bone marrow & salmon. Sides: steak fries, lobster Mac and cheese, creamed spinach, and asparagus. The steak fries were such a stand out. Wow. never would have thought but incredible! Dessert had to be the affogato & crème brulee. Everything was Devine. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is bright and airy and incredibly beautiful.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We sat at the bar booths and there was a little blonde girl who was so on top of refilling our water that it became comical. She was such a doll! Cannot say enough about her Incredible restaurant- impeccable service. Needs to be on any CHS list!

I walked in without a reservation and was seated immediately. The staff was very friendly and had great recommendations. The food was delivered quickly, and was so good ! The truffled Macaroni and cheese was probably the highlight of the night. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The dim lights and quiet music made for a suave and sophisticated dinner.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

What an incredible restaurant! After living in Charleston for over two years, I can't believe this was my first time. I highly recommend this for birthdays, anniversaries, friends, or family in town, etc. We split the wedge salad, and I am thankful we did because it is MASSIVE. I can be picky with my wedge salads, and this was by far one of the best I've ever had. We saw the table next to us enjoying the Broiled Oysters & Bone Marrow, and I'm so glad that we ordered it. It was so unique in flavor and delicious. For our main entree, we both ordered the NY Strip, and our server was excellent in ensuring our steaks were cooked to our taste. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall, it was a delightful evening with excellent service, food, and lighting.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

*Brunch Review* Mimosa Tower. That is all. But seriously - if you're looking for a delicious brunch in the downtown area look no further than Marbled & Fin. Friends and I stopped in recently to celebrate my birthday. From the moment we walked through the door, the entire experience was fantastic. The food was delicious, the service superb, and the mimosa cocktail tower (which was the entire reason I wanted to dine here) was everything I wanted it to be for our table. As an added plus, they do have a small free parking lot adjacent to the restaurant but just make sure you dont park in one of the designated spots for the hotel it shares the parking lot with. In addition to the tower, a few of the standout brunch items we enjoyed were the: - tuna tartare - steak and eggs - french toast - truffle mac & cheese - creme brulee The tartare and mac & cheese were definitely table favorites that had us all fighting over the last few bites. If you're looking for an impeccable meal, add Marbled & Fin to your list in Charleston. I'll definitely be back to enjoy dinner service in the near future.

Luxury bites

If you're looking for a Charleston restaurant for special occasions this is it. Total bill for two was $600 including tip. But we ordered a decent amount. Got all three lux bites which were delicious and tiny. The bone marrow and roasted oysters were a show stopper. GENEROUS amount of hot bone marrow and you get a basket of charred bread to make open faced oyster bone marrow toast. Insane. Beef carpaccio was very nice. Good size. We had the Australian Wagyu filet mignon rare which was super tender. And the Australian Wagyu rib eye rare which was delicious though had a decent amount of inedible fat. But that's a ribeye for ya. No room for dessert but they did give us chocolates. Also gave us free champagne for my birthday which I do beleive was champagne and not prosecco. Great spot but be ready to spend it all.

Always a great meal with excellent service. One of my favorite places in Charleston. The milk bread is a favorite and all the cocktails are so good and unique.

Just us, celebrating our anniversary. These seats are the best for two.

Marbled & Fin is excellent! It's that simple. If you're looking for a fantastic dinner to celebrate an occasion, then this is it. We stopped by one evening for cocktails before dinner elsewhere and were very impressed with the bar, the vibe and the service. We later returned for that special occasion dinner to celebrate our anniversary and the service was fantastic, on point, and special. We sat at the circular seats by the bar, were greeted with a special welcome note and house cocktail which was great. Their cocktail menu has something for everyone, but I had to order my favorite cocktail, the Last Word. Their dinner menu is stunning with luxury bites, raw bar items, starters & salads, sides, and then their fine selection of red meats and seafood entrees. We had starters of hamachi crudo, broiled oysters & bone marrow, and caesar salad. The hamichi was fresh and amazing, while the oysters & bone marrow had a richness that was impressive. I had a NY strip, while my husband had a filet. We also enjoyed sides of roasted mushrooms and roasted carrots. Everything was paced perfectly, allowing us time to enjoy the moment of each course. Then the service was superb from beginning to end. Marbled & Fin made us feel special, and the dinner was amazing, and one to remember.

Oysters on the half shell

Came for a Valentine's Day brunch and received amazing and attentive service from Allison! Tressa also helped us, the staff work very well together to provide a pleasant experience. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere is calm with plenty windows for natural sunlight.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Oysters were 10/10, I need to go back for more. Prime steak was juicy and flavorful, recommended at medium temperature due to the lean cut of meat. I'm a ribeye type of girl, but I was very satisfied with the prime steak. They offer a table side roasted garlic butter and the steak comes with an Au poivre that was super tasty. Eggs were perfectly cooked the way I requested. Hash brown is a patty, similar to the golden arch restaurant (haha), but less greasy and tastes like real potatoes. Oysters on the half shell were 10/10! They were from NC, I have to go back for these. Espresso martini is served in an unusually tall martini glass and tastes very delicious.

Absolutely loved everything we ordered. The bone marrow and baked oysters were the star of the show followed by the Australian Wagu. Also enjoyed the hamachi crudo. We got the dressed oysters but unless you like sweet oysters I would still with the regular. As always the wine list pairs perfectly with everything always. We were here to celebrate a birthday and were greeted with a card which was a lovely touch. It was a little disappointing to see other tables celebrating get a candle brought out at the end of their meal and not our table but it certainly doesn't make us love the food any less.

It is not! More of a business casual - but there were some men that came in wearing polos and jeans

But luckily I was craving seafood when I left Hyams, so I decided to to give CudaCo a shot. As soon as you walk in the door, you can tell it's not your typical seafood market. There's a room of wines for sale, beer, and a few dining tables. Then there's the fresh catch display case... And I must say, their selection is consistently great. The quality and freshness is top notch. And they usually have some hard to find fresh catch. What makes CudaCo stand out from other markets is that you can pick your desired catch from the display case and then have them cook it to your liking. Everything that I've had was literally foot stomping good. And to add to that, they also offer frozen seafood, premade dips, and many other items in the freezer section. I'm a huge fan of CudaCo and I'm mad at myself for taking so long to give them a shot.

Once they opened, someone came down the line to see if we wanted to sit now or put our name down for later. Definitely wish we would've just sat at that time since the earliest time they had once we got to the front was 8pm. Table wasn't quite ready when we popped back at 8pm but they walked us through drinks/wine lists while we waited outside and brought the drinks out to us while we waited. Got in to our table at 8:25pm. The food: Everything was delicious. We ordered 5 dishes between the 2 of us and ended up taking a little bit of the last dish home but only so we had room for dessert. Service was amazing, everyone was helpful and kind! Verdict: Would I wait in line, sweating in the 85 degree sunny weather again? Probably not. Would I wait in line again if it was a cool 70? Maybe. I am not someone who waits in line for a reservation. I always joke that if Jesus Christ is at the end of the line, I'm still not waiting. So... we paid someone to stand in line for us. The place itself is adorable. Small, intimate, and full of charm. I was a little thrown off that the only drink options are beer, wine, or water. Two people in our party don't drink, so that felt like a miss. But then the food came. And I get it now. It was, without question, some of the best food I've had in a long time. We ordered a lot, and every single dish delivered. The caviar sliders were unbelievably good, buttery, salty, and indulgent in the best way. The tuna toast, fennel and celery salad, and ceviche were all standout, with the ceviche being especially memorable. The soft shell crab and tempura flounder were perfectly done. Even the gundi surprised me. And to finish, the "not fried" ice cream and banana pudding were just outstanding. Service was excellent, warm and attentive without being over the top. The whole experience felt special. Bottom line: I hate waiting in line, and I still wouldn't. But I am very glad we found a way around it. Totally worth it.
