My clothes came back by the next day (after 5pm) CLEANED-WITH-CARE. I'm saying this because I took a chance bringing in my white jeans with swarovski crystals on the two back pockets (worth $265). It came back as white as when I first bought them. Not one piece of swarovski crystal was missing. The owner even brought my dry-cleaning out to my car! My experience with Maple Cleaners was a comedy of errors. I went in with 40 pounds of wash-and-fold and two items to be dry cleaned. The prices were higher than I expected based on my experience with local cleaners, but no matter- I was moving soon and had to get this done ASAP. When asked when I needed the order ready, I said as quickly as possible. The associate asked if Monday would be okay, and I said that would be too long. She said "how about after three on Sunday" I said that would be fine and confirmed that we were in fact talking about Sunday after 3pm. What she failed to mention was that they closed at 4pm on Sunday. So when I showed up at 4:30, I was understandably upset to find the door locked. (no Sunday hours were printed on the door) When I went in on Monday I was mad. I'd had to rearrange my whole day, and there were several things that I had planned on accomplishing that I had to put off until after their deadlines. I picked up my stuff and let the sales associate (the same one as before) know how upset I was about what I perceived as her telling me a lie about when my order was going to be ready. About five minutes after I left, I got a call from the owner (or manager, not sure.) He was very apologetic, explaining that there had been a misunderstanding, the associate never said anything about "after three" and he thanked me for giving me the opportunity to fine-tune how the associates communicate to avoid this kind of mistake in the future. He offered free drycleaning. I've worked in some form of customer service most of my career and I was very impressed at his service recovery. He sincerely wanted to make things right. After that, I wasn't going to write this review. Until I got home and discovered that they had only returned one of my two laundry bags and I had other people's clothes mixed in with mine. I firmly believe that Maple Cleaners is committed to providing great customer service and the many positive reviews show that they have their act together most of the time, and even when they mess up they do their best to make it right. In my case, between the higher prices, the scheduling mishap and mishandling my order (it was a lot of laundry, I'm not sure if I'm missing anything, but that fact that I have other people's clothes worries me) Maple Cleaners was more trouble than they were worth. read more

CORRECTION..We just found out that the owner of the dry cleaning business was not the person who we dealt with this week and had a problem with. the actual owner of this dry cleaning business provided textbook squeaky clean exceptional and extraordinary customer service to my wife for two reasons. the first reason is because that's what a business owner should do. the second reason is because of the mistake that his dry cleaning workers made on a garment that my wife took in for cleaning. Some of the stitching came unraveled during the dry cleaning process. The person who attended to us when we came to pick up this blouse was very rude angry and unwilling to solve the problem. the reason why we are giving this business 5 stars is because of the immediate action the owner took in resolving this situation. he really presented himself as a competent business owner who sincerely cared about the customers' best interest and that we were satisfied and happy. this is the kind of service that we have been accustomed to getting at this particular location. Prices are reasonable and the service is excellent! I took in a few silk shirts that came back from another cleaner with a horrible BO smell as well as now having water stains and Maple Cleaners completely got rid of the smell and the shirts looked brand new! I was looking for a new dry cleaner and found this one after accidentally trying another one just a few doors down. The prices are cheaper per item here, but I am not sure about bulk. With the yelp coupon, maybe even less expensive for bulk. The workers were friendly and nice. Unfortunately, I said I wanted the dress back wednesday, and they said fine, but as I looked at the receipt it was going to be back Wednesday by 5 pm. Next time I know better. Took 2 dry clean only items in and told them that my main concern was the smell. They didn't have any stains or anything, but they smelled like BO, as worn clothes tend to do. The woman assured me they could take out the smell, no problem. I picked them up today and took them home, not expecting an issue... Well, when I took them out of the plastic bag, guess what? They smell the same - as though they were never cleaned. I paid $8, (which seemed pricey to me - but I expected good quality in exchange). UPDATE: i'm not even exaggerating when I say that Maple Cleaners provides customer service like I've never experienced. I was contacted by the owner, Mr. Mata, immediately after I posted my first review and he was very communicative and helpful. He even texted me when I couldn't get to the phone. He refunded my purchase and insisted I bring the items back with an additional item. Then, he went out of his way to figure out the cleaning instructions for the specific brand of clothing that I brought in and went out of his way to clean the items. I don't often need dry cleaning, but Maple Cleaners can count on my business in the future, because I know I will get amazing service. read more

While we tend to get what we pay for, I might not agree with that for this particular business. In fact, I believe I got more than what I paid for (which was $1.99 per piece of clothing). Great customer service. Mr. Mehta saved the day. It was my first time here and I came because the reviews said the customer service was good. It looks like there was someone new that works weekends that was rude. I took my stuff and left. Mr. Mehta called me back while I was still in the parking lot and asked me to come back so he could make it right, he even offered to pick up my clothes himself. I went back, he very kindly went through each clothing item and how he would get out any tough stains. Take home message, a new person was rude but then the manager went out of his way to fix it and make things right. He then said the first order was complimentary. I needed some slacks hemmed same day for a business trip. I searched for anyone open on Sunday to do it and found Maple Cleaners. The seamstress was courteous and although I had 4 pairs to hem and though I could only get 1 while I waited, she had all FOUR done in less than 90 minutes - and wouldn't let me tip her, nor did she charge extra for the same day extra rush service. My experience with Maple Cleaners was a bit complicated but part of this complication was my fault to begin with. My family and I are between homes: we are currently living in a hotel as we await the closing of our new home. Anyways, we switched hotels from Old Town to Tyson's Corner and rented a Zip Car to move our luggage. We desperately needed to have our clothes washed so we decided on Maple Cleaners to wash and fold 25 pounds of clothing. We asked if our laundry could be delivered to us at the hotel since we don't own a car and the clerk asked us to call the owner for pricing information since we dropped it off. He was very polite and said that they could deliver the laundry for a $10 fee. I explained that we might not be in our room when the clothes were delivered and paid the total over the phone via credit card. He ensured me that wouldn't be a problem and then notified me via text the day of delivery that the clothes had been dropped off at the hotel. When we arrived to the hotel, however, the clothes were nowhere to be found. I informed the owner and he called me right away. He told me that the delivery man had left our clothing in front of our hotel room door. Over the next two hours, the owner and I both worked with the hotel staff to find the clothes but no one knew anything. The next morning he even came to the hotel with the driver in attempt to find our clothing or pay us a sum to help us replace the items lost. Luckily the housekeeping staff on duty that day had moved our clothing to the utility closet and was able to return it. While I beleive it was irresponsible on the part of the driver to leave our clothes in the hallway of a busy hotel, Mata's concern and customer service was superb. He also refunded the total cost of the cleaning. He definitely cares about his customers and does his absolute best to resolve any issues that may arise. read more

I live in DC and I just tried Maple Cleaners because of a promotion they just had for first time customers. My items were picked up and dropped off complimentary and 2 items were dry cleaned for free (the promotion). Service was excellent, my clothes look perfect; better than they have when I've dry cleaned them in the past, they even got an old stain out of my favorite black blouse other dry cleaners have missed. All in all my experience was better than I'd expected and I will continue to use them for all my professional laundering needs. Our cleaners in Vienna shut down suddenly and they referred us to Maple Cleaners. Manager is Mata who is very friendly and customer service oriented. We mostly launder and press work shirts and have had many broken buttons at other places. None here so far, and Mata has said that if it happens, they fix them for free. I've been going to this cleaner for more the 3 years. Two weeks ago they switched my suit jacket with someone else's and have done absolutely nothing to help find it. The owner, Scott, suggested that I was trying to orchestrate some sort of fraud against him! I am extremely disappointed and plan to take them to small claims court. I called with a short-fuse pressing request. My daughter found her prom gown Wednesday evening, but the skirt was very wrinkled. I called Maple Cleaners Thursday morning, based on their Yelp! reviews, and they had her dress wrinkle-free and ready by 5pm that same day. It came out beautifully!! Prom was Friday night, she loved how well her gown looked, and I will bring the dress back to Maple Cleaners for a proper cleaning in preparation to store it until the next great event. Wow, they were wonderful - suggested that if I brought it right in Thursday morning, and for whatever reason I was unhappy with the pressing that night, then they'd still have time on Friday to try another method to be sure my daughter was happy with her gown in time for Friday night. Customer service in person at the store was as wonderful, polite and, well, gentle, as it was over the phone. I felt like a welcomed family member, not a last-minute customer. Thank-you! read more
