The opportunity presented itself a couple weeks ago, and they did not disappoint. I needed a tux for a wedding downtown, so I figured I would give WT a spin. Todd was very responsive via email and phone once I filled out the form, and he did some juggling to keep my appointment when I needed it. Upon arrival, he took great measurements and helped me select a fantastic tux. The tux arrived promptly and was easy to pick up and return. It was also of a fantastic quality that I received many compliments on. While returning my tux, Todd complimented the coat that I was wearing. The coat happened to be new and was in need of sleeve alterations. Todd said that he could easily take care of that. He did so to my great satisfaction in a reasonable turnaround at a price that was fantastic. TL;DR-- go see WT if you want great service and a great selection of tuxedos or other custom attire. They're well worth your time. Cheers!

Once planning for my wedding came around and I needed my dress altered, I was googling places and reading reviews. This shop came up again and had other happy brides, so I decided to go for mine. I worked with Kelly and she did a phenomenal job on my straps, sizing it down to fit my waist, the bustle, and hemming the length without losing my train! She was so flexible with my schedule and responded to me very quickly. She had taken my straps up (the top has a base mesh material with lace sown on top) and you can't even tell its altered. She also took the time to talk to me about the different types of bustles (which I was unaware of) and we eventually decided on a french bustle. The bustle is so subtle and beautiful, very flattering to my A-line style dress. Finally, the hem was done perfectly with my heels on and I didn't lose much from the train length. All amazing quality work that I feel was reasonable for what I paid for. I highly recommend this shop for any of your tailoring needs, but definitely for brides since I feel like it's hard to research and find a good tailor for wedding dresses. I'm only going to come here for any of my other needs from now on.

I can't speak more highly of this firm. Not since the…read morepassing of the great William Field in Georgetown, who actually apprenticed on Savile Row, has the DC area- much less Northern Virginia- had a truly full- service cfaftsmanship- forward tailor. He was trained in the European tradition of making a client a suit from scratch, from the paper pattern. Whilst this is seldom done today, it makes him capable of putting together any garment on a made-to-measure basis, or tackling the most challenging alterations. He is certainly not the cheapest in the area, but is a bargain considering his quality. He works very quickly and actually listens intently so that you get precisely what you want. I find most dry-cleaner-based workers are not really trained beyond the level of alterations- though some are fine seamstresses-and they haven't sufficient knowledge of western fashion and western tailoring traditions to do an informed job. Having something altered with great sewing skill is disappointing if the garment doesn't end up looking the way you want....
