We drove around downtown Bozeman for a good 30 minutes, and didn't have any luck in securing parking. I found Mountain Walking Brewery and thought I'd take a chance and prayed that there would be a lot or that I would be super lucky with street parking. We were in luck and there was one very small spot near the front of the restaurant - hallelujah! The restaurant was poppin' - almost every table was taken, but we were offered bar seating and we gladly accepted. After purusing through the menu I decided that we should try a variety of items including a side of Brussels sprouts, Bowl of Bison Chili, and a Fig and Arugula Pizza. Service was quick and we got all our items in a pretty timely manner. The pizza had a really great crust the dough had a nice bounce to it. I think for me they were a tad overly generous with the balsamic vinegar glaze which made the pizza quite salty. I would definitely order a pizza again but perhaps the Margherita or the Carnivore. The bison chili was a good standard bowl and the brussel sprouts while crispy was also very salty - I think it was definitely over dressed, but maybe since the majority of patrons were drinkin the salty foods would pair well. Seems like a fun place to hang out, but for me I'd probably pick anything that doesn't have glaze or soy sauce.

When we entered, we noticed it was a small place, packed with a lot of people, but we loved the vibe, so we decided to stay. The bartenders were really nice. We enjoyed talking to them and learning about the area and the history of the brewery. They explained that they had been in business for about 24 years. Bozeman Brewery is one of those places that makes you feel welcome, and you want to go back. My favorite beer was their Plum Street Porter. No food but popcorn

It seems like this beer is one of their flagship beers and it's a good one at that! Flavors to find and have a good time with are hoppy, citrusy and floral. Feedback would be a little char on the patty would be great. The service really tailed off in the end, it was not super busy and they had about 5 servers behind the bar. I sat there for at least 15 min until another bar tender asked if I wanted another brew and my server came about 5 to 10 later to attend to things.

The beer we got from this brewery was Palisade which was a sour and fruited beer that we really liked ! The fruit that does it's work here is Guava and that usually works quite well in beer form! There is also sour, tart, fruity and a dry finish that all rolls together quite nicely. A great layout of flavor and not too sweet at all as some fruit beers encounter this which makes it seem more like Kool-Aid than anything else. Not a problem here at all!

His explanation was "that's our tab, if you decide you want another, bring the card up." We tried to explain that we didn't want another. We were only having one & we'd like to pay. It took about 20min. While we waited, we sipped our beer and flipped these cards over looking for clues... then we took to Google... then we spied on other people. I've been here a few times in the past but this was the first time I ordered food. I had a fried chicken sandwich with their special fries which had a sort of curry sauce for them. The fries were good, I'd get them again, but I didn't think there was much about the sauce that would make me say "I need to have those fries asap" but they were good. The chicken breast was big and juicy with a crunchy coating but I think the oil was a bit too hot as it had a very slightly burned taste. I'd think about going back and ordering something else.

I love a good cocktail and the restaurant we had eaten at before coming here had none so we knew we had to have "dessert" here. We came in to a sign that said seat yourself. We did, at a cozy little spot near the front door. The table has real candlelight, all of the tables do, so there's this beautiful ambiance of dancing light that envelopes this larger than it looks from the outside wine bar. Just a few seconds after sitting, someone was at our table with waters and the menu. Talk about fast and efficient service. When our actual server arrived, she was super friendly and hospitable. She made it feel like we were regulars and I loved that. And the cocktails? Superb. Absolutely incredible, every single one of them. And that coconut lime rickey? I understand why people rave about it. Perfectly balanced and absolutely delicious. I also want to point out how quick the cocktails came out to us. The beer that I had (and Steve enjoyed too) was the Salmon Fly Honey Rye. Rye beers is a type of beer that I don't come across very often and when I finally do it's a refreshing experience as is the case with this Rye beer. Flavor features to find with this beer are honey, a natural sweetness and rye. The beer is light bodied and has a smooth body to it. A nice change of pace from what you typically come across with beer selections.
